Longinus The Vampire: Babylon
Sometimes...evil can be good.
The fate of the Kingdom of Babylonia hangs by a gossamer thread.
The Babylonian gods are in a cataclysmic struggle with the Jewish god; King Nebuchadnezzar has become a savage beast; murderous traitors surround Queen Amytis and her children; and evil creatures prowl the streets at night.
The high priestess of Marduk prays for a saviour to deliver the city from evil. Ereshkigal, the Queen of the Underworld, hears her entreaties and searches through time for a dark champion. Touched that Longinus sacrificed himself to save Lilith, she rescues him from Hell and brings him back to ancient Babylon.
She reveals to him that the terrifying demoness, Lamashtu, is intent on breaking open the gates of the underworld and letting the dead spew forth across the land. Smitten by her ageless beauty and noble altruism, Longinus pledges to be her champion. However, time is running out for the star-crossed lovers. The King of Demons in Hell is using all of his diabolical power to recapture Longinus and destroy the goddess.
His quest is long and perilous. In a dangerous paradox, he confronts Lilith before she created him and before he infected her with the human emotions of love and pity. Armies of the dead, evil mortals and hideous vampire necromancers seek to destroy him, but he must crush his enemies and ride forth until he reaches the Valley of Death.
And in that vile pit of obscenities and corruption, he will fight in a final, apocalyptic battle and face his malevolent nemesis - She Who Destroys.
This is a time for heroes - at the Gate of the Gods - in the Golden City of Babylon.

Best of the series!
I just finished binge reading this series, this is by far my favorite. To be honest, it is amazing to see the difference in style and flow between all three books. Mr. Kinross has steadily improved, i eagerly anticipate future arcs in this story line! I wouldn't have finished the first book if it didn't have such an interesting plot. This last one is fantastic all around.

Excellent
A straight up butt kicking book. I have read all three books and I just wished there were 20 more I have to give the author props. I wish I had the skills and motivation to write books like this. This is not Twilight. These are ruthless, butt kicking vampires and gods

A VAMPIRE TALE NO BETTER WILL BE FOUND THERE IS......

Awesome Series
The tale that Alan Kinross weaves is dark and entertaining. I have read the series and can say without reservation that it was well used time to read. I am looking forward to his next book.

I have become addicted to this series.
I loved each of the three books immensely. I can't wait for the next one to see how Longinus escapes from hell and to learn where his adventures will take him next!

Incredible Story
Great main character. The interplay with Daniel from ancient Babylonian times was very creative. The historical descriptions were illuminating. Good action great book.

Good book
Good reading, it kept me interested. Some sexual scenes went on a little much to me. But all in all it was a good read , if you like vampire reading, and I do.

Satisfying to read.

As good as I remember !
This was another great read. Looking forward to the continuation of the story. Great vampire stories are hard to find and this is one of them.

A really exciting, interesting novel. This new author just keeps getting better and better. Five stars from me.
