I received this book as an ARC for an honest review. This is a very short story
In this book we meet Dave and Millie. Millie is trying to fight whatever she and Dave use to have. There is something going on with these two that isn't explained in this short story. Dave wants Millie back but at every turn she is rebuffing him. Millie is trying to look for balance in her life but when she is near Dave the balance she craves always leads her to him.
This is a very short read and it seems to be the prequel to the full story on these two. I would recommend waiting until the full story comes out because unlike most prequels this one leaves you with more questions than preparation for another book. In this book I felt like I came into the middle of the story and it ended before I got to the end. It is ok for a prequel but like I said I would wait for the whole book before getting this one.

Lacey, this was an amazing story. I love Millie and Dave. I cannot wait for the next one in 2016 and I'm really sad I have to wait that long. I had tears in my eyes at the end of this. Home for the holidays! Millie goes home to her best friend's house for Thanksgiving and is surrounded by lots of love. Her love for Dave has never died and it is difficult for her to be around him and not be with him. Takes a leap of faith and I can't wait to see what happens next.

having read the first two books in the series, I couldn't wait to read this book and I defiantly wasn't disappointed. I loved this story and the characters were really well written. the story is really heart warming, you'll not want the story to end. this book is a novella in the series. it is a fab quick read to help you get in the mood for the next one.

Perfectly Kissed is a beautiful glimpse into the wonderfully complex and highly charged lives of Dave and Millie. While the event only cover the day leading up to and including Christmas Eve, each event and minute was incredibly powerful. Everyone plays a huge role in the outcome of these two precious souls. Even the smallest things echo and reverberate like ripples on a pond. This is a painful and pleasurable story that will touch your heart in ways you never imagined.
There is a myriad of hurt and pain in Millie’s past that keeps her perpetually tied in knots. Her self-confidence is non-existent, and all she thinks she deserves is self-inflicted pain to make up for her short-comings. Dave has loved Millie since he first met her. Even though she has pushed him away, he can’t get her out of his heart. He refuses to believe that they make things work between them. There is no end to their explosive chemistry, but moreso there is love enough in his heart to cover them both multiple times. He doesn’t see his life without her in it, and he is determined to never give up on her. Will Millie resign herself to become a lonely old women for the happiness of her family and friends, or will Fate intervene and show her that she is worth everything that she wants and so much more?
This story contains the most breathtaking characters. The meddling best friend and sister is just so loveable. She knows how good they are, and she won’t let them go without a fight. The sweet godson who makes Millie realize that she wants so much more than she ever imagined. The stubborn and loving Dave who will never let Millie go without her knowing how he still feels about her. He knows he can melt her as long as he doesn’t give up. Confused, hurting, and precious Millie who thinks that by overlooking her own desires and dreams that she can somehow achieve the best that she deserves. Put them all together along with an explosive surprise and you have a wildly fun and unexpected story that will have you laughing, crying, and begging for more.

Perfectly Kissed is a snapshot of 24 hours in the lives of the main protagonists Dave and Millie, who have previously appeared as more minor characters in Lacey’s books Perfectly Equipped (Millie) and Perfectly Seduced (Millie & Dave), with the latter hinting at a the possible rekindling of a previously ended relationship.
The 24 hours in question are those of one snowy Christmas Eve with Millie once again spending the holidays with her best friend April’s family. That means facing up to her past with April’s brother Dave, whilst contending with April’s determination to ‘nudge’ her and Dave back together.
Millie’s determination for her relationship with Dave to remain platonic is sorely tested when she is faced with ‘tradition’ in the form of strategically placed Mistletoe, Dave’s heated gazes and touches, her godson commandeering a bed, a delightful dream, a snowy power cut, and elderly neighbour and a puppy. Her resolve is borne of a need to protect her already shattered heart, as she sees Dave as the culprit rather than the remedy, and it takes some words of truth from Mrs Bowers to finally crack the protective façade:
“You remind me of me…All feisty and ready to take on the world”
“You loved him so much, and that boy was crazy about you. He still is. If that kind of love can’t last, then the devil has possessed you.”

I’m a fan of Lacey’s work. I enjoyed this glimpse in to the fledging rekindling of Millie and Dave’s love for one another. As a prequel, I think that it encourages curiosity enough to make Perfectly Loved a must and I, for one, can’t wait for this story to continue its revelations.

I was so excited to get a glimpse into Miliie and Dave from Perfectly Seduced. Being a fan of Lacey Silk’s past books, I knew it was going to be sweet and decadent. Millie is spending time with her best friend April and her family which includes mistle toe mishaps, power outages, wet dreams, and innuendos exchanged with her ex. Millie and Dave have a complicated past history that leaves more than just logs starting a flame in the cabin. Dave would love for Millie to finally accept his heart and over look the past but all she wants to give him this holiday is sass and avoidance.
Lacey Silks delivers a tasty morsel of this couple, just enough to whet our appetite and warm our hearts. I enjoyed stepping into the Millie and Dave’s festive world seeing the sparks fly and an old flame reignite. I cannot wait to see what Lacey has in store for us when she continues their story in a future book. A great way to spice up your holiday reading selection.

Perfectly Kissed by Lacey Silks --- is a beautiful yet complex glimpse into the lives of Dave and Millie. Its only covering the day which gets to the event leading up to Christmas Eve yet each thing that happened was so powerful; it was like a ripple effect in the lives of the MC. Mille is spending time with her best friend and her family when she sees her ex there who happens to be her best friend’s brother. This is a 24 hour period of anything that can go wrong that does. BUT in saying that, we see glimpses of the love they still have for each other- Millie hasn’t forgiven Dave for whatever he did but Dave wants back with her. Everyone is pushing them back to each other yet Millie is hesitant to get back with him. There is lingering questions which sets up their story for spring 2016 which is great because I **NEED** to know what is going on with them and hopefully their book when it comes out will give us, the reader, the answers we need.

If you've read Perfectly Seduced and Perfectly Equipped, then you are familiar with Millie and Dave. Millie is April's best friend and Dave is April's brother. Millie and Dave had been previously been in a relationship, but something happened. They still love each other but Millie has not forgiven him, yet she hasn't moved on.
"You want to fix everyone and balance the world, but you won't let anyone bring balance to your life."
In Perfectly Kissed, April is spending the Christmas Holiday with the April's family and the feelings she has for Dave are rekindled, yet she is still pushing him away. Even the crazy old neighbor lady tells Mille "You loved him so much, and that boy was crazy about you. He sill is. If that kind of love can't last, then the devil has possessed you."
This is a prequel is a quick read and I can't wait to read more!

I had received this for an honest review. If you are looking for a real good short read trust me you cannot go with this one and it is perfect for this time of year.
Dave and Millie use to be an item. One thing Millie learned about Dave is that if she keeps him and other men at arm’s length then she cannot be hurt. Though Millie is determined to keep her distance way from Dave he is determined to win her back.
The one thing about Mayer’s family is they took Millie in when she needed a family. Which means she has to spend the holidays with Dave. Leave it to her best friend April who is also Dave’s sister to leave mistletoe everywhere. I have to say that is kind of funny if you ask me.

This book drags you in with the opening sentence. It links with Perfectly Equipped and Pefectly Seduced, although I am not 100% sure what the timeline is.
I enjoyed the writing style and the story of Millie and Dave. I was left happy but with a lot of questions, so I am hoping to see more of them in future books. I especially have questions regarding why Millie needed to forgive Dave and what had happened to cause their previous break up.
For those of you who enjoy a story with a strong, patient good looking male and a quirky, funny and sometimes confused female, strong family ties and a short sweet story then Perfectly Kissed is a book you will enjoy.

Although this may be a very short story the author packs a lot into it.
Since I have followed this series from the beginning I can say I was not disappointed. Yes, I was left with some questions that was haunting me yet.... all questions will be answered in the next book Perfectly Loved, coming out next spring.
I will not give the story away because you will want to experience their story yourself but I will say Millie captured me with her strength but in the back of my mind I wanted to know what made her this way. Once again that is where the next story will fill in the holes. Dave made me smile and laugh throughout the book. He definitely is very focused on Millie.
Now the only problem is having the patience to wait for the release of was and what is to be with these two.

I will not give the story away because you will want to experience their story yourself but I will say Millie captured me with her strength but in the back of my mind I wanted to know what made her this way. Once again that is where the next story will fill in the holes. Dave made me smile and laugh throughout the book. He definitely is very focused on Millie.
Now the only problem is having the patience to wait for the release of was and what is to be with these two.

This was a great beginning to a new series. Millie and Dave had a relationship for a while and for whatever reason they broke up. Dave's sister April is Millie's best friend and Millie is like a family member so she always spends the holidays with the Mayer family. I am looking forward to the next book Perfectly loved to see what happens with them.

Millie and Dave also star in April's story and I was curious then what happened. Now this book is almost a prequel to April's perfectly equipped story.
Millie and Dave still spend time together, after all his family adopted her in as an official daughter years ago. Plus she's best friends with his younger sister and godmother to his nephew.

Perfectly Kissed did a perfect job of getting me ready for what's to come in Perfectly Loved. If you've read Perfectly Equipped and Perfectly Seduced then you have met both Millie and Dave. Millie is the crazy best friend of April and Dave is April's brother. This book takes place before Perfectly Equipped and Perfectly Seduced. This prequel gives us little hints of the chemistry that sparks between Dave and Millie and a hint at their past, but we don't find out why Millie is so reluctant to give in to Dave. I love that Dave is so persistent. Both Dave and Millie will crack you up. This is a fun and fast read that will get you ready for more.

This story is so sweet and touching it will bring tears to your eyes!. The characters are fantastic!. Millie is spending Christmas with her Bf April and April's family. Millie used to date April's brother Dave. They broke up but Millie is still thought of as family. Dave has never stopped loving Millie and hopes his sister will help him get her back. Wise words from a little old cranky lady just might soften Millie's heart. There are funny parts to as April keeps hanging mistletoe so Dave can catch Millie under it lol. You can not help but fall in love with this Holiday Romance!. This is a must read book!

I had to re read this spunky emotional & humorous story again as my initial review wasn't saved and I ALWAYS have to write as soon as I finish a book to put my initial feelings of the story.
Millie is a hotheaded but passionate and at the same time heartbroken young lady, who lost her true love, her best friend's older brother. Dave is a cocky cop, who STILL loves Millie even if she doesn't want to admit to him, that she does as she's too scared to get her heartbroken again.
All things start to change during this Christmas Eve....

I received this book as an ARC for an honest review. I honestly can't wait to read more of Millie and Dave! Being already familiar with this pair through the Perfectly series, I always knew Millie would be a fun character. Dave however, is my kind of guy! Between these two's sexual chemistry and dirty innuendo's they quickly became one of my favorite couples! During a family Christmas get away, Millie faces the uncomfortable position of being stuck in a house with Dave over the holiday and between all of the strategically placed Mistletoe and her best friend's meddling, Millie may get a whole lot more than she planned this Christmas!

Millie first appeared in "Perfectly Equipped" and "Perfectly Seduced." Although she's not the spit fire, and in your face sarcastic smart mouth in Perfectly Kissed, she still has her quick wit and great smart ass remarks.
Millie decides to give her ex-boyfriend another chance. It's still unknown why they broke up.....another cliff hanger.....shame on you Lacey ;) I can't wait to find out their history. I found this story tamer version of the first two books in the series. I still thoroughly enjoyed it. I just missed the intense sex and the tough guy who drops a lot of F-bombs ;)
This prequel is good and I recommend it. Just be careful, Lacey Silks' stories are addictive ;)

Millie and Dave spent Xmas in each other's company, they had a previous relationship which ended and Millie finds it hard to forgive Dave, she gives him attitude to keep him at bay but will the mistletoe be her undoing?. This story is about the 24 hour period over Christmas and the story is so beautiful you will definitely love this.
Prepare to shed some tears as it does tug at your heart the author has a magic about her writing that grips you and keeps you enthralled. It's basically about a 2nd chance at love, will they take the chance?

This is just a short snippet of a couple who will be appearing in a story later. It is just enough to whet your appetite and to entice the reader (us) to want to know more about them.
The couple is Millie and Dave. In this story, we find out that there is history between these two but Dave is working hard to make sure there is a future as well. But to find out if there is, we will have to wait with baited breath for next year when the rest of their story will be told.

I read this in the Red Hot Holiday's Anthology.
It was really good even though I did not read the first book in the Perfectly series I will go back and check it out.
Dave and Millie are meant to be together but Millie is fighting it because Dave broke her heart.
There is definitely more story here this short installment had me interested in what happens to this couple. Millie did annoy me a little bit because Dave is hot and sexy and clearly wants her, but she's afraid to give her heart to him.
The story continues in Perfectly Loved which will feature why Millie and Dave separated and if they can keep it together. Due out Feb. 2016 added to my TBR for sure.

What a great set-up for the next book!
Millie is at a crossroads in her life. After her and Dave's relationship ended years ago, she decided it was better to stay single. That way, she can't hurt anyone else and they can't hurt her. It's a win/win, until she realizes exactly how lonely she is.
Dave still wants Millie. He always has and he always will. Too bad she doesn't want anything to do with him.
So what happens when they get sent to check on a neighbor during a snowstorm? Millie gets the crap scared out of her, that's what. Mrs. Bowers gave her a prediction that she will die old & alone unless she lets Dave back into her life. What could happen?...

What a quick to your heart story !! Millie is trying to get on with her life with out Dave but this Christmas it doesn't t seem possible since he is always right there where she doesn't want him to be. Dave seems to have a pull or hold on her heart that she doesn't seem to want any more.....or......is that really what her heart wants ??
Dave still loves Millie but can he be the one to get yo her or will it be one unlikely human ......
