Yowza! Because He Possesses Me is the fourth riveting book in the seductive new serial, Because He Owns Me, by Hannah Ford and may I just say - WOW! Like really, really WOW! Please be aware, as I stated previously, this is an ongoing serial and there will be multiple installments. If you haven't read Books One thru Three of the series, PLEASE STOP HERE. I began reading Ford's work a few months ago when I discovered her What He Wants Series. She seems to specialize in serialized multi-installment novels with each release being the equivalent of one or two chapters totaling 35 to 50 pages each. I find that I actually enjoy this concept very much as long as the books are released weekly or bi-monthly and hers generally are. Each book is a quick enjoyable read and perfect for what I like to call a palette cleanser - something to stop sensory overload, relax my mind and enjoy in between heavy, full-length novels. Ms Ford is exceptionally talented in crafting realistic stories with complex characters and suspenseful plot twists. She also excels at maintaining the momentum of the story throughout the entire book without having to use empty filler dialogue to pace the continuation of the plot. If it's there, you better believe it means something and will be important to the story at some point. She has quickly become one of my favorite authors. The story is exciting, enchanting, romantic, seductive and arousing. The narrative is exceptionally well written in the first person with alternating his and her points of view although the main POV seems to come from Adriana O'Connor aka "Lemon", the female lead of the story. The dialogue is smart, snappy, raw and compelling. The characters are powerful, captivating, complex, engaging, intriguing and sexy as sin. Ford skillfully crafts these elements into an enticingly sweet cocktail of adult romance with a dash of mystery, suspense and a very erotic twist of BDSM. This story grabbed me from the beginning and won't let go! I can't seem to get enough of Callum and Lemon! It's absolutely captivating! Ford keeps us guessing and on our toes - again!
Book One: This story features recent college graduate Adriana O'Connor who has recently moved from Michigan to New York City to find a job, hopefully in a publishing house and start her new life. Although not unfamiliar with the ways of the world, she is quite naive. And apparently, she is also quite submissive as is quickly discovered by handsome, charismatic billionaire Callum Wilder, CEO and Founder of Wilder Holdings, LLC. Adriana has agreed to meet Nathan, whom she met on a dating app, for a blind date at Whipped, a club located in Midtown Manhattan. Nathan is a no-show and leaves the lovely Adriana waiting alone. Adriana is totally unaware that whipped is a BDSM Light Club and is caught totally off guard when she catches the eye of someone else... someone dark, handsome and much more experienced...someone who wants to dominate and own her...for only one night. Of course it's not a lunch date because the arrogant Callum Wilder doesn't do dates. Riigghhtt.......not a date then!!! He's determined to have her and still wants her to submit to him for one night. Can he convince her to reconsider and accompany him on a business trip to Florida where he intends to have his wicked way with her - for only one night, of course! Nope, she refuses his offer until........Well, I'll never tell! Yep, the unworldly Adriana is definitely in way over her head with the sophisticated, charming and very dominant Callum Wilder and if she isn't careful, she may just find herself swimming with a shark! Oh my gracious! This is the one we've been waiting for.....Does she or doesn't she??? And who is Rose??? I'm dying to know!

In Book Two we did learn that yes, she did accompany him on his private jet to his luxurious home in Florida for his "business" meeting. And yes she agreed to finally have sex with him, but....are you sitting down? Before he would touch her at all, she had to sign a privacy and a nondisclosure statement and an ironclad contract agreeing that it would be for ONLY one night; she was to never disclose any details, she could never tell anyone and she could never, ever contact him for any reason - no exceptions! And if by chance they ever meet again, she was to act as if she doesn't even know him at all? What the heck? And if that isn't enough, she also had to agree to be his submissive for the night, completely submit to his every command and to do anything and everything he wanted! Oh my! Surely, Adriana told him to take a long walk off a short pier, right? Wrong! And once their one night was over, he flew her back home to NYC without barely a word and dropped her like yesterday's garbage. Adriana is hurt, humiliated and broken hearted. And just when she thinks her life is going down the toilet, she receives a call inviting her to a job interview at Archway Publishing. Did she even apply there? She's completed so many applications, she can't even remember but Adriana has a strong feeling that Callum may have had something to do with her job offer. And guess what? He did! It was only supposed to be one night, with a billionaire, but will one night be enough?
Good read, story gets interesting as you go on. Would recommend for a quick read. can't wait to see how the story progresses. Very well written. I just think the author makes these too short, but they are good and keep you wanting more.

I received this book as an ARC for an honest review.
I loved this series of Because He Owns Me, but I wish each book was longer. Since this was Book 4 and I did not read the other books, I purchased the three books through Kindle Unlimited (instead of $2.99) so that I could start from the beginning to find out how Callum and Adriana met. Callum Wilder is a very HOT and sexy alpha billionaire who has one rule—when sleeping with a woman, it is for one night only. When Callum encounters Adriana O’Connor, she is like no one else he has ever met before and he is awestruck with her. Callum and Adriana are enthralled with each other because they cannot stay away from each other, and this is a problem for Callum because he cannot surrender control. Because of Callum’s jealousy and protectiveness of Adriana, he cannot stand to see another man talk to her, touch her, etc. He also feels he need to own her completely, to make her his, and to control her every move. When Adriana was at a meeting with her boss (Kiersten) to meet a perspective client, Dean Bellingham, he seemed to be interested in Adriana. It will be very interesting to find out what happens if Callum sees Dean talking to Adriana and what his reaction will be. Also, one may speculate if Dean will be Callum’s rival. I cannot wait to read if Callum will tell Adriana everything about himself—the reasons he cannot have a normal relationship. I look forward to reading the continuing story of Callum and Adriana. This is the fourth book in this series. It is now 2:30 am and I literally long hair.....don't care. I can't deal with putting this book down right now. Good Gravy..... someone throw some water on me please. I'm smoulderin over here.
Finally.....I have been searching for a book that resembles 5o shades of Grey. Its hot! Its crazy! Its steamy as hell. I was so dang happy I found this book.

Great for the little bit there was
I only read these short novels because they are included with kindle unlimited, otherwise there would be no way I would spend $.99 or more for less than 100pgs. What I read was great, I just wish the author would have just put the books together and then release it.

Holy Molly !
This is one screwed up billionaire. He has some real obsessive compulsive behaviours. I think his heart is in the right place, even if he is going about it awkwardly. Book five should be interesting.
