How to cook up your own happily-ever-after:
Make a wish, add some magic, stir in a dose of danger and turn the heat waaay up!!

A wish unleashes magic, mayhem and the mating heat...

After suffering heartbreak and betrayal, Alisa finds herself out of a job and running out of options. On a whim, she makes a wish. The wish is simple enough. She wishes to find her true love and live happily ever after.

Tristan Gray, bear shifter and the boss of Gray's Domain, receives a call from his grandmother. Gramma Gray raised Tristan and his three brothers after their parents died, and Tristan would never deny his Gramma anything. He agrees to her odd request to drive out of Shadow Point to escort her new hire back to Broomstick Inn.

When Alisa runs into danger, a big, growly man comes to her rescue. Tristan is sweet, sexy, tough and protective. He is everything a girl could wish for in a mate.

But Alisa knows from experience that wishes don't come true.
Or do they?
As Alisa rolls up her sleeves and dives into her new job as a chef in Broomstick Inn, she realizes that she just might have discovered the recipe for her very own happily-ever-after.

This is a no cheating book with the most independent women who doesn't need a alpha to save her from troubles trying to haul her.
This is one of the most fast forward stories which I have read. There was no streamy romance just straight to the point "I Love You "No nonsense.

This is a very sweet story which gives a hope wishes come true.If the story had little more drama that would have made it much better but the story was good.
This books would fit fast reads.

Marrying The Bear

Goodness I have read this series so many times over the years. It's like visiting with an old friend for me. I visit whenever I need something familiar. Natalie Kristen books never let me down. Just a fast paced shifter instalove with a fated mate and a Happily Ever After.

I consider this story safe and free of any kind of abuse or cheating, no ow/om drama, no others after meeting.

This book was a quick easy read. Female makes a wish for happily ever after which sets off a spell that brings her to her true love.

The reason why I give three stars is because it lacked any kind of emotional depth or deep story.

The first day she arrives in town is the same day she sleeps with the male lead and all of a sudden they are mated and she is happy.

There weren't any discernible characteristics to like about the male lead either. He was very generic. This didn't give me any warm fuzzies or make me angry or make me feel anything at all.

It was probably like reading a human interest story in the newspaper.

Gray Bears: Tristan and Alisa

Short, sweet, and to the point! This is a 👍 great treat and can be read within a few hours. Tristan and Alisa are two lonely people that meet with the help of Tristan's Grandmothers. The Grandmothers (Gramma and Ne-ma) are a riot and a hoot! The reader's will love 💘 them. This is the first book in the series and can be read as a standalone. The series is off to a great start!

I've read the whole Gray Bear series but this review can be applied to all of them. The stories are very quick reads with an HEA but they each have a little suspense thrown in by each having their own villain. My favorite characters in the entire series (you even see them pop up in some of her other series) are the two 80+ year old witches who are always up to well intentioned mischief. If they were real I would love to be able to become their best friend!

Great Author

I am totally in love with this author and the way this author can bring out the emotions in their words. Great characters and storyline. Great short reads and always wonderful series where one book ends the next picks up the story. Highly recommended this author and any one of their series or stand alone books.

A little beyond ridiculous but that alone I could have handled, my issue was the same as others' it was too rushed and squished together to make a short story. Minus a few elements such as the sex scenes it seemed like a children's book IMO.

Great Sneaky Title

With a title like “Marrying The Bear”
I thought a totally different story line, my idea was wonderfully and woefully inaccurate YEAH!
The story you crafted was unexpected and with a “badass chef” LOL

almost too simple

It wasn’t poorly written but the storyline was so basic. It was like someone took a kids fairytale and added a few elements. It is also extremely short.

Other possible title of post: "Quick Hit of Happy"

Was this book challenging? Nope.

Was it deep and thought provoking? Nope.

Was this book short, sweet, sexy, and cheap? Yup! And let's just repeat....$0.99 on Amazon and I read for "free" with Kindle Unlimited! (Did I mention how much I love Kindle Unlimited?) It was exactly what I was looking for at the end of a really rough day. A quick hit of happy....

Wow this was a great little read. Cute and funny and sweet. It was really fast and I wanted it to be longer and give Alisa and Tristan more time to form a relationship. Just happened awful fast but I still loved it but that is the way of mates. I loved Ne-ma and Gamma so fun! I can't wait to read the rest of the boys' stories. :)

Gray Bears Series

This is the 1st book in the Gray Bears Series and I loved it! It's about the 4 Gray brothers and their 2 grandmas who are witches. The grandmas cast a Happily-Ever-After spell so that if the boys mates ever wish for their true love they will find a way to be together. I can't wait for the other 3 books in this series.

Love a Natalie Kristen story!

We say good-bye to the Black Bear Clan and hello to the Gray Bears! Tristan, his brothers, Gramma, and Ne-ma...a loving and wacky family! I'm going to enjoy reading more about them. My only complaint...too short!

Bear shifter romance - no cliffhanger.

Cute short bear shifter book. Standalone but within a series. She needs a job and has no one so she makes a wish.... A job opens up at a inn doing what she loves, cooking. What she finds is a job, family, and love.

Lovely

Great shifter romance with a twisted, yet paranormal beginning. Another awesome shifter romance set in shadow point. Sorry no dragons in this story. Thank you Natalie Kristen
