Get the first three installments in this delicious, delectable series now!
This series is sizzling hot and is intended for a mature audience.

Janey's a girl that likes being watched. She finds that out when she moves into a stunning new suburb outside of the New York state capital. The older gentleman next door has the perfect view into her bedroom, and she shows him absolutely everything she has to offer.

She soon realizes that she likes being watched by the neighbor even more than she likes being touched by her own husband. And that's when things begin to get dangerous. Traumatized by her husband's heartless affair and constant cheating, Janey is pushed to take ever greater risks, getting closer and closer to the neighbor until finally, she finds herself in his bedroom!

This series follows Janey as she goes through ever more titillating and arousing experiences as she tries to deal with the increasingly difficult relationship she has with her husband. It blends the pleasures of story and character development with the joy of steamy erotic writing in short and frequent installments. It is not for the faint of heart!

The stories begin short and gradually get longer as the series progresses. This Box Set contains the first three installments. Enjoy!

Hi, my name is Abby. I hope you enjoy my exciting new romance and erotica stories.

I love stories about strong, female protagonists that give you a good character arc and background to the action as well as providing the steamy details of what they get up to. I am particularly attracted to themes like wife-swapping, voyeurism, exhibitionism, and public and group encounters.

I am thirty-years-old and live in the beautiful forests of rural Ontario, Canada, with my two dogs.

I hope you enjoy my stories. You are always welcome to contact me at: abby@type-writer.net

This was an interesting set. I actually had read the first part of The Arrangement when I found these books (for free on Amazon), so I thought "Why not?"

The writing style threw me for a second. Abby Weeks doesn't use quotation marks just -when someone is speaking. So that took a little getting used to.

Beware: There are several spoilers listed below. Some marked, most not. If you don't want any spoilers-don't read.

It's hard to write this review since I have finished the series. I was conflicted at first about Janey in these three books. The books start out with a young couple in love. As the time passes things change and Janey's husband ends up cheating on her with his secretary (predictable). Janey realizes this one night when in the middle of their love making he calls out the other woman's name. This is where I think the story really begins because Janey vows to make things right for her and her husband again which means moving to a new house in a new city that has better job opportunities and hopefully away from the secretary.

This scene shocked me at first-It was a good scene don't get me wrong, but it bothered me because here she is trying to fix her marriage to Ben and she's letting a complete stranger oogle her and ya dee da. But she takes this new attitude of hers even farther when she gets to the restaurant and "accidentally" drops her keys and lets the valet guy feel her up. She also toys with her husband so by the time they get home they are both hot and heavy for eachother. Again this threw me because it's like she's 2 different woman. First she's the one trying to hold her marriage together and the next she's fantasizing about another man. It contradicts things with her.

Ben seems to enjoy this new side of her but does it keep him away from Suzy-the Secretary? Of course not and Janey realizes that and it makes her depressed and makes her feel like she isn't good enough.

There are some interesting scenes when she finally gets to meet her Neighbor and I LOVE the pool scenes with the rose petals but again Janey comes off as extremely desperate for her neighbor's acceptance.

Then comes a few twists. Ben receives a HUGE account at work and gets promoted. The truth about him and Suzy is revealed and it turns out Suzy's husband knows about her and Ben but they accept it because they are swingers and Ben promised Janey to Luke. I loved that scene with her and Luke in the hotel room. Unfortunately her idiot husband was mad at her for enjoying having sex with another man and beats the crap out of her and she winds up in the hospital. And what does Janey do? She protects her idiot husband and says she falls.

As you read this (and some forethought from the next three books) Janey portrays classic signs of an abused woman. Emotional and physical. She will do anything to please her husband and to get him to come back to her. Right now she doesn't feel like she is good enough. Skipping ahead....or back (can't remember where in the story this happens, at the end I think). She goes over to her Neighbor's house to seduce him maybe-again she is craving a man's touch, a man's love since she is being shunned at home. Henry-the neighbor doesn't have sex with her INSTEAD he calls a friend-Malcolm to have sex with her and watches it all. A very hot scene.

So my thoughts: Again I had conflicting thoughts about Janey. But if you are reading books 1-3 and debating if you should get 4-6. The answer is: YES! Book 4-6 show way more of what is really going on and all the twists and turns and by the end of the books you will want to punch Ben....and Suzy, but especially Ben.

Abby is right on with the sex scenes. They are steamy and have everything you could possibly want in them, but she also talks about issues in a way that really makes you think after you have read the book. I read the books a few weeks ago and I'm still going "huh".

I will finish my thoughts with my review on 4-6.

First of all I want to convey that I do not condone cheating in a marriage, but since this is fiction all systems are a go. I loved this book! It kept me interested and wanting more. This book was better than the drawn out 3 book series. It didn't need a long history of the characters. It had the essentials: a couple, a problem, somebody trying to solve the problem, and in that process finding her true self. Perfect!

To me this book was about a woman taking off her mask and revealing who she truly was inside. She got tired of being defined by her relationship to her husband, just being Ben's wife, and by her job, a teacher. She decided to be who she wanted to be, which was free!!! She didn't let society dictate what was normal for her.

Sex is sometimes just sex. I applaud that she wanted to be used and used for a noble purpose, even if it is from a stranger, the neighbor or the valet, who knows will take care of her and not misuse her. Unlike Ben who looked at her as nothing and was disposable. I love when a woman is free to be who she decides to be and not wear a mask of what people call decency and civility.

The box set is the equivalent of one or two short erotica freebies. The formatting (of spoken words) was awkward and difficult to read. The back story was just blah. She knows her husband is cheating but she doesn't want to mention it? This 20-something gets off on a strange 60-something watching her. I read some crazy stuff, but this was just weird instead of erotic.

What a Neighbor

Janey Carver a wife of a lawyer who just happens to be stooping his secretary. So once they had moved out to the suburbs and he continued with his affair Janey decided she needed a little more stimuli herself. But what she didn’t know is that it would be her neighbor and she only found out as she was getting ready one night for her husband. As she was admiring herself in her bedroom mirror, she realized she left the curtains open on her very wide windows. And clear across the yard was her older neighbor taking in her body as well. She decided to give him a show on top of everything and consequently this led to a climax of unbelievable proportions.

Before I even give my opinion of this really short three book set...I want to address some of the critics who call the author out for her strange lack of quotation marks when her characters speak, the idea that Janey is crazy or that she is a weak heroine. They were not an issue for me and I did not think Janey was unrealistic or nuts...she exists everywhere in many women.
I picked up this free book on the recommendation of an author friend who writes erotica/romance and frankly, since not much shocks me, it sounded like an interesting idea. Yes, it's been done before (voyeurism is nothing new) but what started off to be a fun, sexy and kinky little erotic tease, turned out to be (for me) something much deeper. Women are many times made to feel like we are dependant on a man to validate who we are and many loving, faithful wives sit home while their businessmen husbands stay out till all hours at "business meetings" when they are in fact cheating. Janey does what many of us do...turns to comfort food, chick flicks and battery operated toys to satisfy what is lacking in her marriage...and believe me it is NOT all about sex. Ben is a selfish POS...using his wife's trust and lack of asserting herself to get away with pretty much all he wants. When her kind, lonely and very rich neighbor sees her through the window as she first tries on some lingerie (meant to be for her husband's eyes and to spice up their marriage) and witnesses her full on display...things get interesting and begin a cycle of Janey's attempt to push out of her comfort zone and get the attention she is lacking from Ben, elsewhere.
I am interested to see where things go in the next 3 parts. A rather poignant and sad commentary of what it means to be unhappily married and unfufilled as a woman.

**** 4 **** " a pool full of roses for a bathing beauty" stars

The Neighbor box set is a collection of 3 very short novellas with the next 3 parts in other box sets. I got it for free on amazon so I gave it a try. It was nice reading about Janey and how she turns into a little sexpot after switching to a new neighborhood with her husband, Oh and finding out that Ben is cheating on her with his Secretary. As it is an erotic novella series, of course, there are a lot of sex scenes. But our heroine is kinda unusual as I don't think that someone can change this much in 2-3 days. Still, it was a nice little distraction from all the other reads.

People who don't read generally ask me my reasons for reading. Simply put I just love reading and so to that end I have made it my motto to just Keep on Reading. I love to read everything except for Self Help books but even those once in a while. I read almost all the genre but YA, Fantasy, Biographies are the most. My favorite series is, of course, Harry Potter but then there are many more books that I just adore. I have bookcases filled with books which are waiting to be read so can't stay and spend more time in this review, so remember I loved reading this and love reading more, you should also read what you love and then just Keep on Reading.

I received a copy from the author in exchange for my honest review, so here it is. This is a good story, it started a little slow but it quickly picked up. Janey is married to Ben, the love of her life until he comes home late one night and while making love he calls out Suzy, and Janey realizes that he is having an affair with his secretary. Janey figures if the move to Albany, away from Troy and Suzy, that their marriage will be saved. But things don't always go as planned. One day she is getting ready to go meet Ben for dinner, when she sees the neighbor watching her dress. She is shocked and can't believe that it is turning her on. They watch each other a few times and she wants more from him. When she sees him at the grocery store, they talk a bit. When Janey finds a condom wrapper in Ben's pants, she can't believe it's true. She is hurt and wants to hurt him. After he doesn't comes home until after 3 a.m. The next day she visits the neighbor and has a little fun herself. Can't wait to read more and see what Janey does next.

This was a very fun little bit of nonsense. I actually moved this book up on my to-read list because I was so intrigued by the voyeur aspect. Hot! If you are looking for something that is purely sexual, and you don't mind some weird punctuation, you've come to the right place.

I'll give you fair warning, in terms of characterization, Janey is the mayor of crazy town. But characterization isn't really the point of a story like this, is it? You go with your bad self, you slutty housewife.

Disclaimer: I do not condone infidelity or the tit-for-tat kind of game she is playing here. There are other ways of dealing with your husband being a dirty, cheating scum bag, like putting on your big girl panties and calling him out, but, again, that's not really the point of this little fantasy.

Amazing author, sex scenes are hot, hot, hot....even if they are pretty twisted. Such an interesting story line, so different from every other erotic or romance book out there. The true sign of a great author is when you feel everything the heroine feels and can't guess where the story is leading. This is one of those books. It's not for the squeamish though. If you are looking for a sweet romance, this is NOT it. Very dark, erotica, abuse sexual, physical and mental but heroine gets her revenge in the end. I can't say enough about this author and this series.

This is a MUST read for any fan of the erotic genre. Sizzling f_cking hot!

A strong 4.5 star read for me. I'm going to round up to 5 star since it was offered as a freebie.

I'm not sure if I will continue this series. It did surprisingly have a decent plot considering this quick read was mostly filled with sex, sex, and more sex. It's likely I'll buy more books in this series at a later date.

This is the first I've read of this subject, it reminded me of an old local film because it's about voyeurism and exhibitionists. It also touches the subject of infidelity in a marriage.

The author downplayed Janey's feelings a bit by tolerating her knowledge of her husband's affair. She instead decided to get even, but it's obvious she has a fondness for Henry.

I'm intrigued about the next books in the series.

I sort of skimmed this book.

The sex scenes were great - titillating and interesting, if the subject matter (voyeurism, etc.) is something that, at least in theory, turns you on.

The writing itself, on the other hand, was... okay. I didn't really care that much about the story that connected the sex scenes.

Recommended: If you are in the mood for some frisky reading, and care more about concepts than writing.

Four stars for the erotica in the book which was sizzling hot. Not five stars because the main character is supposed to be a doting wife, but she is completely turned on by the Neighbor watching her masturbating and having sex with her husband. I liked the book and read it, but to be honest, I didn't like Janey and although I sort of understand what her motives were, she seems too weak to me.

I tried to read this book but I couldn't get past the dialogue. Dialogue that doesn't use traditional tags is foreign to my eyes and pulls me out of the story, completely undermining why I'm reading. I honestly can't tell you anything about the story because I barely remember it, all I can remember are those horrid dialogue tags.

I need love...

This book was well-written for people who can enjoy sex with out love. The scenes were hot and passionate but it just couldn't reach me because of the lack of emotional connection between the parties involved. If this is not a requirement for you then I am sure you would enjoy this series. For me this was worth three Stars.

This book so called series of 1-3 should have been just book 1.I was expecting different stories.Janey thinks that her husband is cheating her with his secretary .The author offers no proof of the husband's infidelity.Janey is. a bored school teacher. Janey starts down the path of a sex addict.the so called 3rd series is so out of the blue ,why would the author put it in this story .

This is a pretty interesting erotica romance/thriller. After discovering her husband is having an affair the heroine convinces her husband to move in hopes of ending his extramarital relationship. Well things don't exactly go as planned and she is drawn into his new world that is much more than a simple office fling.

I found this a little tacky and crudely written. '3' books = half a real book. Characters lack depth and the use of the same language gives it away they are written by the same person and therefore don't come across real. Poorly edited; hard to understand the "speech" elements that were written using a -. It was never clear where the speech ended and narrative began.

Stunning!

Abby Weeks is a maestro of erotic pleasure. Janey is what every man could ever want in a wife, girlfriend and sex kitten. The story is amazingly hot from the first chapter and just increases in heat with each successive encounter.

Can't wait to read the next set in the series and see what Janey gets off next.

Hot and interesting.

I like the fact she did nothing until she confirmed that he was really cheating with the Secretary. Every action there is a reaction. She was going through the motions and hope that he would see what he would lose. He didn't respond. I can't wait to read the rest of the book. I need it, it is like a drug to me.

I liked the book very much and it was an easy read. I wish it was sold as a boxed set. I hate waiting for the next book. This book is great for anyone lacking confidence in a relationship, it allows the dream that there is someone else out there for you.
