Since the pandemic started I have found myself enjoying little books that cover relaxation tips and how to surround yourself with peace. I have found that reading these books (even when I reread them) it helps me calm down and breathe. Sometimes I just need to take a second in our fast paced world to breathe and think and this book will help you do that!
This book is full of quotations like: "Whoever is happy will make others happy too." Anne Frank There are also pages with advice lke: "Let your worries float away like clouds" followed by a paragraph telling you how to do that. Sometimes this type of short read is just what I need to get my mind into a good place.
This is a lovely little book. I’m very happy that I’ve read this book and I’ve found it helpful. I would recommend this book to anyone that needs some help or advice in relaxation.
So handy, pocket / bag sized and have helped me immensely! I really cannot recommend this kind of stuff enough and the importance it holds to me and hopefully others!
I liked in particular the part about Low GI foods, because I think that's really important, sometimes you can't relax because of the food you eat is making you feel neggy with bloody spikes ect, so I really liked that bit! Maybe biased because I follow a GI diet though..
