A lovely collection of Caribbean themed poems. There is a large range of poems in the collection, suitable for children of all ages of primary school. Some of them really make you think and I can see children becoming engaged in them. Some of the poems have illustrations paired with them, it would be interesting to explore one of these with children before looking at the poem and then making the connections.

A great selection of caribbean poems that can be enjoyed by people of any age! Many of them tell funny stories through rhyme and rhythm making them fun to read. I imagine it would be great to hear these read aloud to experience the same poems in a different way.
