Verjetno med boljšimi zvezki, ker premore nekaj realizma (Largu pomagajo drugi liki, tudi institucije) in ker dovoli nekaj motiva in dejavnosti tudi stranskim likom. In čeprav je v ospredju zarota proti Largu, gre tudi za zgodbo o organiziranem kriminalu.

This book, the conclusion of the 2 part story arc that started with #11, is quite disappointing.
Some of the knots of the 11th album are unknotted in a petty way - especially the part of Quinn disguising as Cochrane at the bank in the Cayman Islands. The ingenuity of the plotting that was built to put Largo into the trap in the previous album isn't maintained as Largo tries to undo them. Luck becomes Largo's friend almost all the time from getting out of the prison to not being eaten by ants to not being shot or stabbed on multiple occasions - He just lucks out and at one point it appears absurd.
Largo's team manages to get him out in bail proving the the rape case might have been fabricated as a 'minor rape'. Once out Largo moves full scale and kidnaps the girl who is being scared into making a complaint against him and once he learns the hide-abouts of his company's investgiator, he sets on alone to save her only to fall right into the hands of the enemy. As said above, LUCK kind of lives in his pockets and saves him almost all the time, leading to bloody climax. Largo comes out at the end being the owner of his production hours and also the rival NBN production house!
The huge plus of the album is Mrs. Pennywinkle - who knew she could be this rugged and this fun! 3 stars for her!

Dit album verscheen in 2002 met een oplage in eerste druk van 650.000 exemplaren. Francq en Van Hamme reden met een konvooi Harley Davidson-motorrijders over de Champs Elysées, Fnac deelde op de ochtend van de lancering, bij een traktatie van koffie en croissants, gratis exemplaren uit aan zijn leden terwijl Winch-Dollars over de hoofden van de klanten dwarrelden... Om u maar een idee te geven van hoe populair de reeks toen was geworden... En toen was er nog geen vertaling naar het Engels.
Het tweede deel van dit 6de tweeluik ontgoochelt niet. Echt verrassend is de inhoud ook niet. Gewoon zeer leuk 007-achtige actie en intriges waarbij het tekenwerk van Francq opnieuw perfectie is. Miss Pennywinkle komt eigenlijk wel verrassend actief uit de hoek maar dat maakt het eigenlijk nog leuker.
Op naar herlezing van het volgende tweeluik.

Being part 2 of previous tome made it a bit difficult for me to understand but that's my problem. Van Hamme writes solid stories with plenty of action and surprise.

Francq is always stunning -especially the women- as usual BUT the coloring is terrible.

Фінал так собі. Поганці наче видихлися, а сюжетно вмотивований передавач у взутті Ларго - це занадто дешевий хід. Плюс деякі моменти з попередньої частини ніяк не пояснили. Плюс твіст з гримом поганця під іншу людину, щоб десь на островах проводити банківські оборудки - аж цікаво, скільки б часу протрималось таке маскування. Коротше, ця арка гірша за попередню.
