What a great bowler this man is. Always gives everything every time he plays cricket for England and I love watching him in action. It was a rollercoaster year for him in 2014 with career threatening knee surgery and rehab, and a long road back to discover his form. He wasn't match fit heading into the World Cup warm up games but badly wanted to play and do his part in the 2015 competition. The World Cup turned into a horror show for England as I well remember but it all came right with the Ashes, which is always a great time to gloat when we win! Broads 8 for 15 spell was just mind blowing to watch and cheer and I enjoyed every minute that he was bowling. I hope he can stay around for a few years yet with Jimmy!

This was a Christmas present - I used to read a lot of cricket books when I was young, but the ghosted memoir is a rather limited genre. This one is pretty bland and not very revealing, though easy enough to read. The section on a disastrous team bonding session in Stoke was more entertaining than any of the descriptions of the cricket...

Since I'm a Stuart Broad fan this book has to be my favourite. The book covers the ups and downs that he has faced, the dressing room scenario and how England cricket regained the urn after facing tough times. It must be the very proud and emotional feeling for Broad when he took his 8 for conceeding just 15 runs. When you read this book you won't feel as if you are reading a book, you'll feel as if Stuart himself is telling you things moreover sharing his experience. 8-15 will always be love. It is an amazing book and a must read book for all the cricket fans out there

I cried when i finished this book because i realised this is probably the closest i will ever be to having a conversation with staurt broad. but i absolutely loved this book and cannot wait to read it again! read it in one sitting! adored it! definitely added extra fuel to my love for cricket!

I was working away in the Middle East when England regained the Ashes in 2015 so this book gives an interesting background from one of the key players. I have also bought his autobiography following his retirement last year.

Overall good book. Got a little bit boring with going in depth with every ball and emotion. However I enjoyed the ending where he describes the Trent bridge 8/15.
