The Final Confrontation

Rate this book
Many years ago, Pope St. John Paul II said, “We are now standing in the face of the greatest historical confrontation humanity has ever experienced…the final confrontation between the Church and the anti-church, between the gospel and the anti-gospel, between Christ and the Antichrist. The confrontation lies within the plans of Divine Providence. It is, therefore, in God’s Plan, and it must be a trial which the Church must take up, and face courageously...” In this booklet, Ralph Martin takes a look at what Scripture says about the final confrontation and the work of the Evil One. He exposes the lies of the enemy and the truth about Divine Mercy. He also identifies what we must do to face the present trials with courage.

Breve tratado sobre el final de los tiempos en la Escritura, el Magisterio De la Iglesia y testimonio De los Santos.
Interesante pero demasiado corto para un tema que reclama más desarrollo aunque es normal tratándose de una obra de divulgación

A sort of an extended ferverino on repentance and spiritual preparation for the trials to come. I was expecting something more theological on what we know the 'final confrontation' will actually entail. The fact is that things seem to have escalated swiftly in the last few years. However, as Dr. Martin notes, it is vain to try to foretell the day or the hour. Watch!

A Great Reminder.

So many of the faith have already fallen to their demise because of hedonism, secularism and liberalism. This Is great book to remind us of GOD'S mercy and his wrath if we choose the world. Now is the time to repent, not tomorrow or the next day, because their might be none.

The Final Confrontation

A powerful message of Gods Mercy, accompanied with extremely sobering warnings of Gods Justice, both scripturally supported. This book is a serious wake up call for everyone in our deeply troubled world. You will definitely want to pass this on to family and friends.

Excellent read

This book was very easy to read and had lots of Biblical references. Those who call themselves Christian or Catholic may not realize that without forgiveness and a turning away from sin you must find yourself in he'll and not heaven. We need to be serious in living our lives for God.

Simple but profound

This book is an easy quick read, but the topic will weigh in your heart and soul as you read it. It is written so clearly, that it is a book that everyone can get a great blessing from reading it.

Something everyone needs to read...

Long enough that it makes the point and short enough that it does not get too wordy. Honestly, I felt I was reading a long but engaging homily.

Sharpens the focus; clarifies the vision. Read and be warned!

Again, Dr. Martin's impeccable use of Scripture, church writings and quotes makes an airtight case for all of us to snap out of it and discern the times in which we live - for the sake of others and ourselves.

Short and to the point.

I would recommend this book to any one especially us Christians who think we are on the right path to heaven. Let us all repent and reevaluate our walk with God. I for one needed to hear the advice and admonishes set forth in this little booklet.

Clear and concise

In this short book,Ralph Martin gives a call to action for the times we live in. The world has gone far too wrong, far too quickly, for any off us to doubt that this -could - be The Final Confrontation. Even though Ralph Martin rightly acknowledges that we don't know, yet, if these are t r July the end times, we have to see that we must repent, amend our own lives, and pray and sacrifice for the souls of others. The part that most reached me was the reminder that, in our times, even those who have been given the truth are rejecting it. That is my children. They were blessed with the sacraments, blessed to receive Jesus in the Eucharist, yet they now reject Him. How much more is expected of them, that they had these gifts? I thank God for this call to action, because the time for all of us may be short, and I want my children to be saved.

Fantastic book

The book gives a great explanation of God's mercy and what the year of mercy means. Mercy is intended to bring us to repentance, not to leave us in sin. This book uses scripture verses as well as other church writings to demonstrate this. I highly recommend this book to everyone.

Prophetically describes our times and offers hope.

Dr. Ralph Martin lets us know what the end times will look like, which bear an uncanny resemblance to today. He offers the hope of God's mercy, that even the greatest sinner can be saved, with a warning to repent soon as time may be running out.

A dire warning

This booklet was very easy to read and understand. It is not written like a theology doctrine. It is written for the common man. It warns us of disregarding Jesus' teachings. We need to put aside the desires of the flesh, for it will obscure the path to heaven and lead us to damnation.

An urgent message for a troubled time.

Ralph Martin has looked deep into chaos, knows the measure of it, and shows us the road to our home. A basic, short and powerful book about the need for repentance.

St. Faustina's view of our times

There is much true in this view, though I'm not a great fan of Faustina. We are living in a turning point in history and this view points it out clearly.
