Joseph "Jeph" Loeb III is an Emmy and WGA nominated American film and television writer, producer and award-winning comic book writer. Loeb was a Co-Executive Producer on the NBC hit show Heroes, and formerly a producer/writer on the TV series Smallville and Lost.

A four-time Eisner Award winner and five-time Wizard Fan Awards winner (see below), Loeb's comic book career includes work on many major characters, including Spider-Man, Batman, Superman, Hulk, Captain America, Cable, Iron Man, Daredevil, Supergirl, the Avengers, and Buffy the Vampire Slayer, much of which he has produced in collaboration with artist Tim Sale, who provides the comic art seen on Heroes.

super sad. and still we can’t make a good hulk movie, heaven knows why

I feel like it could've gone on 2 more issues. Not only for a bit more happening in the story but to play more into the titles of each issue. 7 could've been G for grief and then H for Hulk.
I didn't realise though how this run was not only a retelling of his origin but also a look back to then after the death of Betty and Bruce dealing with that.
I still quite enjoyed this run though.

This was the first Hulk series I read. People talk about how great Hulk comics are and I, ignorantly, always dismiss them because he’s just a big hulking guy. I think the movies do a bad job at showing how much thought the monster can actually have. Anywho, it’s hard to not enjoy at least Tim Sale’s art as always.

Meh. Probably my least favorite of the "color" books that Loeb and Sale have done.
