I feel like it could've gone on 2 more issues. Not only for a bit more happening in the story but to play more into the titles of each issue. 7 could've been G for grief and then H for Hulk. I didn't realise though how this run was not only a retelling of his origin but also a look back to then after the death of Betty and Bruce dealing with that. I still quite enjoyed this run though.
This was the first Hulk series I read. People talk about how great Hulk comics are and I, ignorantly, always dismiss them because he’s just a big hulking guy. I think the movies do a bad job at showing how much thought the monster can actually have. Anywho, it’s hard to not enjoy at least Tim Sale’s art as always.
