USA Today™ best-selling author Elizabeth Lennox writes contemporary romance novels featuring sheiks, business tycoons, royalty, and other sexy rich men. Along the way, she received a BS in History and held different jobs in the real estate, government consulting, and financial industries. All during that time, though, she was always writing, using her personal experiences, dreams, and travels throughout the United States, Europe and the Caribbean as backdrops for her stories. To date, she has written over eighty books and sold over 5.1 million copies. Her free novellas have been downloaded over 8 million times since 2013.

Elizabeth lives in Virginia with her husband and two children. Their home is just outside of Washington, D.C., and many of her novels are set in this area.

Heroine has got to be the biggest idiot ever. Huge HUGE misunderstanding and if she had only talked with the hero and heard his side of the story, everything would have be JUST FINE. Then again, to do that? This book probably would not have been published since it's the Big Misunderstanding that the story revolved around. Bah. Waste of time. Why don't they JUST TALK TO EACH OTHER instead of do the stupid stuff they do then are all "Oh my God! I've wasted so much time!" Idiot.

I really enjoyed this book. This is about Stefan Kozlov and Livia. Livia has led a very bad childhood. Her father was abusive to her mother , but not her. Livia has bad nightmares about that time and is trying to get her mother out of the situation. She, her mother, stays with him. Her father wants her to marry Stefan Kozlov as he has big business opportunities that he can get his greedy hands on. Livia rebels and says no, but Stefan meets Livia and wants her and will not take no for an answer. Livia does marry him, but over hears a phone conversation Stefan has with someone and gets scared of him and runs away. Lots of heart ache here and passion too. Very well written about abuse, etc. I highly recommend this book and also the whole series.

This is the third book of “The Boarding School” series. This feature Stefan Kozlov & Livia Morgan. The book starts with POV of L, talking with her mother about attending her abusive father’s party. Livia hates her father and has grown up with seeing her mother abused by him. So there is no surprise that she doesn’t want to go to this party. But her mother convinces her to come to this party just for at least an hour or so. And L relents to her mother. It’s at this party that she meets Stefan. Her father pushes them together in hopes of a business deal. And he kinda succeeds in getting them together I guess…

Now they have a whirlwind romance and get married very soon. Now when u finish this chapter L is happy that she is marrying the love of her life. But in the next page, she is crying over something Stefan said over the phone, which is related to her dad I guess. And then we get to know that she has run off on the next day of her wedding. And till the end, we actually don’t get to hear the actual words spoken by Stefan. It was like a jump cut in a video or a varying timeline in a movie. And while its great in those cases in this book its not needed.

It's again a time-pass read. I wanted to finish the series so I took this one up. But I don’t think I would continue on with the rest of the series after this coz the story is getting repetitive. Same kinda hero, Same kinda heroine, just the names & backgrounds are tweaked.

Just read book #2 in the series...liked it!

This is book #3. Um...this one is not good. It's sort of a hot mess. It is super choppy, missing chunks of plot, the heroine's actions/motivation make no sense, and the author offers very little explanation.

In one breath, she's in love and lust.
The next page, she's left her husband and we have no clue why.
But as soon as he turns up, she wants to shag.
But then a couple of seconds later, she's scared (still don't know why).

Hot. Mess.
Not sure if I will continue this series or not.

So much confusion in life could be avoided by just talking to each other.

Stephan is a surprisingly good man for one so powerful in life. Considering how she grew up, it's not surprising that she has trust issues. Though she starts out as strong and self reliant, her feelings for Stephan make her start thinking she isn't in his league. Though he had never made her feel that way.

Things turn upside down on their wedding day after she overheard his side of a phone conversation. The man she just married, the !I've of her life, can't be trusted. Devastated, she runs off.

And her abandoning him on their wedding day messed with his own trust issues with her. When all the truths come out, he can finally understand what happened. A good story, but more challenges than preferred.

I had read the first two books in The Boarding Stories series and thought "this is a bit of naughty and harmless fun". However, I am beginning to think that Elizabeth Lennox writes about strong-independent-women turn idiotic/submissive at the knees by a dominating handsome male! Livia kept professing the "thoughtful" and "sweet" Stefan, although his actions border on harassment and sexual assault! He manipulates and controls her and it's distressing to read how pathetic she becomes especially after having already been through such abuse with her own father. Utterly stupid! Futhermore, the NHS remains free in the UK to emergency treatment and physiotherapy, especially as a victim of crime - don't know where the 100k comes from, this is not the States! Did not complete past chapter 8!

The Russian's Runaway Bride

Lucia came from an abusive home so when she meet Stephan she is leary about him. When she over heard a conversation on her wedding day she runs. But what happens when he confronts her. Will she be able to tell him why? Will he be able to sooth her fears?

Okay

While I know how the book is going to end, I can't help but but them. I love Ms. lennox's writing style. Even while the story is not overly unique, she has a way to draw you in and make you want to read it anyway. Good story, interesting people, I enjoyed the way she presented Livia's problem and family secret.

Livia was playing too hard to get initially, the amount of force Stefan had to use I was wondering if he was going to sexually assault and then after all of that effort a simple miscommunication and she ran away, a little to immature.

This was my least favorite in the series. It was like after chapter 7 another author completed the book.

Elizabeth Lennox – Boarding School Series The Russian’s Runaway Bride (3)

3 Star. Worthy of 4 Stars, but lots of typo erros

The third book in the series features Stefan Kozlov and Livia Morgan. When they saw each other across the room, there was an instant connection and maybe a little lust. Stefan who always got what he wanted, vowed he would have Livia. But she was determined not allow that to happen. At 25, Livia was now out on her own and most important, away from her horrible abusive father.

They had a whirlwind romance and was married within a few months/weeks. After their wedding, Livia over heard Stefan on the telephone to someone and she was sure that there was a side that she was terrified of. Livia thought she had no choice, so she ran away and found a small cottage to figure out how to get out of this marriage.

When Stefan found her, he told her that she had to come home because her mother was in the hospital. He stated that he expected her to stay in his home until her mother was healed.

Now what is she going to do?

Elizabeth Lennox is one of my ONE CLICK Authors...she writes it I buy it. Rarely am I disappointed and I WAS NOT in this book at ALL! This is the third book in the Boarding School Series. You do not have to read the other books in the series to understand or follow this book but let me tell you if you read the other books it helps you to understand where Stefan is in his head and you will also know who the others are that are mentioned in the book.

Stefan Kozlov and Livia Morgan are instantly attracted to each other. She doesn't want to be for fear Stefan is like her father. He doesn't want to be because well he wants to keep his freedom. But well you have to read the book and see how long that last.

This book is well written and had me crying in spots. Be aware there is domestic violence in this book so if that is an issue with you or could be a trigger for bad memories I just want you to know that going in.

finally, novel 3 delivers+ on the the base novella.

loved the setup novella, but wasn't sold on the series until this book(#3). Book 1 standard ignored wife for 6 years until she decides to divorce/he realises her body has developed to maturity trope. Book 2 woman desired for at least 3 years but not courted because "mistresses" (in 21st century) so blackmail at last moment (must have legitimate heir by ..... (21st century again) trope) with minor indiscretion of younger sibling of heroine trope (a contractual obligation/lazy novel of the most heinous).

The only reason I continued the series this far is the ease of Amazon's next in series ordering. I'm compulsive, and I kindle drunk and sober.

Really happy I drunk-ordered the continuation of THIS series to get to this book.

Now, which way will book 4 go ?

Awesome Book!

I love this book! It's another great addition to the already great Boarding School Series by Elizabeth Lennox. I just wish that there had been more of an explanation of what actually happened to her mother and what happened in the end to her horrible excuse for a father. I also wish she had tormented to explain what the henna design meant. I looked it up so I think I understand the joke but it's not very effective to put in a cute joke that virtually no one will understand without research. Other than that the book is very entertaining and full of love and heat and we'll written characters. I would recommend this series to anyone who enjoys easy-to-read HEA love stories.

So this book was a total surprise! I mean WTF, it was a Elizabeth Lennox book for crying out loud! OMG. I know I read a lot of these but they tend to get annoying after a while and this one changed that for me.

This one was really good it had me laughing out loud and squeeling with happiness. Idk what was different but this story was just done really well for me and it's the same as the rest, just better! I know I'm making no sense but shit read it and then you would understand.

I am not adding this to my 'read' list because I refuse for it to be on my goodreads challenge.

*Updated 16/12/15*

I'm so weak.... I added it.... It was really good! *hangs head in shame*

The series got more into a routine where mostly it's the same thing.

- Guy likes the girl but doesn't want to admit it, the girl leaves him or ignores him and he comes after her.

- In this series they took a long time showing us their back story.

- I have to admit that I skimmed a lot of this book.

Overall, *thumb midway*

Another hit from Elizabeth Lennox

I enjoyed this wonderful story about Stefan and Livia's story. Every woman wants a man who's crazy about her and will do anything to protect her. Read and discover their journey.

Livia loved Stefan but left him after exchanging vows. Stefan after months found her and the sparks they thought was gone, was not at all.

O, how i love a story like this one. The woman runs way and after a period of time, the man finds her and the sparks fly all over again.......

The bride

It's funny how this book keeps Toronto's toes and if they were going to talk about what happen on the wedding day.I'm just glad it worked out and love this book like other others

Not hot enough you spoil me in your other books

I love this author as well as Pepper Winters, and B.B. Reid their romance is steaming hot. This par book was lacking the hot I love it but some of her other book had spoiled me. This is my only romance.

I liked the plot and how the story was going but I do have to say that at some point I got mad with Livia because she couldn’t talk! I understood her fears and all but I guess that at some point the excuse got old and so I was a bit desperate…

Characters are one dimensional yet again. Livia is a virgin as per the usual archetype. And stupid as hell. Abuse is a huge deal... and I don't think the author really understood that. Why can't romance stories dig slightly deeper?
