One of the best devotionals you can get. I highly recommend it. This is my 2nd favorite, as his devotional, Drawing Near, is the very best I've ever read. If I had the money, I'd buy these two books for everyone I know. They're that good. He helps you have a much better understanding of core Christian beliefs, how to apply them to your life, and in the process come into a much closer relationship with the Lord.

I love how every month is dedicated to a specific topic to keep the reader well focused! Instead of selecting a random verse MacArthur (as he typically does) goes deep into explaining all of the nuances, practical applications and the importance of the chosen verse. This daily devotional is also available online at Gty.org.

Strength For Today was such a delightful and encouraging way to start each day. Armed with God's word and helpful insight from the late pastor teacher John MacArthur, I have loved his daily devotions. With his passing this year made it extra special.
Anyone looking for a wonderful devotion that will make you delight in the Word of God, I highly encourage this devotion. I enjoyed how each month he would chose a particular area to do a deep dive on. I really enjoyed in November as we dived into Wisdom!
I can't wait to circle back to this devotion in years to come! As we know God's Word is meant to sharpen us and grow us in our knowledge and delight of Him. All Glory be to God!

Fantastic Daily Devotional
In a world of many daily devotional options, this is one of the best. John MacArthur is an excellent teacher and scholar, and this daily reading is one of my favorite texts of those he has written. Each month has a theme/topic (e.g., wisdom), and the daily readings focus on the designated topic in short, thoughtful teachings that can only add to one’s faithful journey to better understand scripture and grow closer to God.

Another great devotional by John MacArthur! He provides a wonderful analysis on many passages of Scripture that communicate at length on the subject of Christian character, the significance of Christ's llife, death and resurrection, and how we can profit from the trials we face throughout life.
