2.75-3 Meh Smut Scale Stars
This was a short and hot read, but I felt like some of the elements - the whole "Master" thing and the h's virgin to dirty-talker extraordinaire in less than 60 second speed - came out of nowhere and didn't work for me.
Still, as long as you aren't looking for depth and realism - which I NEVER am with these reads - this is a decent way to spend an evening when you can't fucking sleep *raises hand* although I will say that I don't think it's worth the price tag.

Impulse buy. Really enjoyed it!
H is 38 year old biker ex con, h is 20 year old naive virgin.
Known her since she was 10. Looked out for her. She has loved him forever. Little girl love that tried to grow but he went to prison when she was coming of age.
He has been away in prison for a couple of years so he has not seen her as an adult.
So this is more like a short story. It is super hot, sex driven, all heroine POV (which I normally do not like but it was ok because it was so short and they were together most of the time). Lots of dirty talk and sex. Whew!
Hero is a biker but there are no club scenes in this book. He is uber possessive, alpha, wants to be called Master and feels he owns her. Heroine is really naive Virgin but manages to f@*k like a porn star. For some reason this worked for me. She loved him unconditionally and he did not abuse that. Yes he was a bit of a douche the minute he got out of prison, but he did not do anything unforgivable.

If I based my rating just off the Prologue and start of Chapter 1, then this would have been a 4/5 star read. But obviously, I can't. Past the 15% mark this quickly fizzled out and even his girthy slab of man meat and the pulverising of her hymen didn't excite me. Really disappointed as this looked so good.

Holy Fuck Almighty. Lord have mercy on my little sinner’s heart.
Josh is an ex-con biker built like a truck and covered in tattoos. He’s been taking care of his VP’s drug addict sister’s kid since she was ten years old and when, just as she’s about to turn seventeen, he gets sent to prison for three years, the only happiness she’s ever known is taken with him. When he’s released the feeling of protectiveness he had for her soon turn to obsession and lust.
What followed was an exercise in sexual frustration that had me circling the point of insanity. The push and pull and sexual tension that built up as Josh tried to get control of his feelings around Tish was crazy sexy and the way Tish managed to break down every resolve he had with the slightest touch or word was just simply delicious. I devoured this book and I lusted after Josh’s filthy mouth like Tish’s crack-fiend mother for her next hit.
Underneath all this insane sexual tension, dirty words and dirtier deeds was a surprisingly romantic love story. I loved that this older, dangerous man being turned to absolute mush by an innocent young girl and how devoted they were to each other ensuring that they could never look at another person. His jealousy and need to own her was incredibly sexy too.
I just loved this short erotic novella. It encapsulates every dirty fantasy my rational feminist self would NEVER in a million years admit to liking publically (ok, well… oops). I definitely recommend, no, INSIST that you read this short and filthy little book.

I really don't have too much to say about this one. There were things I like and some I didn't.
I liked how Josh was OTT and possessive and how he had been celibate even before he was in prison. A few times I wanted to throat punch him though. I liked Tish..for the most part she was more mature for her age and then at times she showed her age. I got to say, the dirty kinky side of me loves an older man with a younger woman. Josh is 38 and Tish is 19. I do think they should have addressed Tish's mom. I would have liked to see them kick her out. There were a few other things I think could have been developed a little more as well.
So, overall, a middle of the road read for me. I will definitely read Her Proud King though and possibly any future stories from side characters.

OK, so here's the thing .... the best way for me to describe how I feel about this story is to tell you that I think the author may suffer from multiple personality disorder!
In my opinion, one personality wrote the Epilogue and the other wrote the rest of this ridiculously long sex scene .... Because that's all we got after the epilogue, 10 chapters of nothing but foreplay, 1 chapter of actual sex and a chapter of cuddling.
Don't get me wrong ... I'm all about the sex (lol), but I don't need 10ish chapters to get to it!
I don't know what happened to the story that was built up in THE BEST EPILOGUE IN THE HISTORY OF EPILOGUES, but it's not in this book ....

This was just OK. Dude gets out of jail and sees the h for the first time in three years (since she was 17) and they are all over each other like a cheap suit in August in New Orleans?? Add on that you know NOTHING about the dude, how'd he get out jail, cause I have a sneaking suspicion it wasn't for good behavior. He tells her next to nothing, and wants her to call him "master" (which is hot, when earned) from the get go??
I guess there is going to be a book two about Josh, but this little chicky poo will be skipping it!!

This was a seriously hot older man-younger girl story. Tish is a young girl who had to grow up fast due to a neglectful mother who was too strung-out on drugs to care for her daughter. Instead it was Tish who took care of her mother growing up. Josh, a friend of her uncle, is her one constant, a friend and confidant with whom she shares an unbreakable bond. They are separated for a few years when he is sent to prison, and reconnect once he gets out. Tish is deeply in love with him, and although he tries to fight it, Josh finally stops seeing her as a child and begins looking at her as a woman. When these two came together, the chemistry was blazing hot. Although she is inexperienced, Tish is confident in what she wants, and what she has always wanted has been Josh. The intimate moments they shared were incredible. Josh is a dominating alpha to his core. He was a serious dirty talker, and calls the shots and is incredibly possessive of Tish, both in and out of the bedroom. What I loved most about the story was that despite their age difference, the two of them shared an incredible connection and a great bond. This was a fun, sexy, and entertaining story, and I really look forward to the rest of the books in the series!

I know it was a novella, but still there should be some effort made at a plot and some sort of character development. This was just a couple of frankly not very wonderful sex scenes when this guy gets out of prison and hooks up with this girl who is 18 years younger than him. She was his best friend's niece who he had watched over while she was growing up. They were members of a motorcycle gang but that was pretty irrelevant because there was no plot and no scenes outside of some dirty sex awkward love declarations.

Great MC story without club whores' appearance or orgies. h had to grow up fast because of her terrible mother. When they moved to be near her uncle, she not only felt being protected the first time but also found her soul-mate, who was 18 years older than her.
This story really began with right after H was released from prison, and their encounter was so hot, but he had to struggle with the fact that she was his VP's niece and the age difference.
I liked that both H and h didn't with others during separation. Esp H didn't sleep with others for a while before he was put in the jail.
The only thing I didn't like was the end of story, wished there were more in-depth interaction between H and h rather than just sex.
Although this story had no cliffhanger, this couple will have another story.

Tish had such a rough childhood with her addicted mom leaving her to fend for herself and then in one horrific night things change for her. She is taken away and goes to a place she can finally call home. This is where she meets Josh who is her watcher for a long time and then becomes so much more to her. He resists, but only for so long. I so loved them together. My heart broke for the nightmare that Tish lived through as a child, but I loved her new family. She and Josh were just sizzling and I loved their story. I can't wait to read more of this series.

Everything about this story keeps you on your toes, jaw dropped, and edge of the chair read. I want more and crave more. The story seems like it will be long but it was short of course that leaves you wanting it even more. This was very much different from other MC romance stories, this time around it was more about the love and overcoming the past and finally embracing love. MUST READ!!!

This book was short, and that, in my opinion, is about the only thing wrong with it.
My Josh...model Josh Mario John. Trim his beard, his hair a little and bulk him up and *sigh*
Holy crap I never expected to gain a new favorite H from a novella! That's just not my style. Usually novellas are lacking for me. Don't get me wrong though, yes I rated it 5 stars, but I definitely feel it was too short and the story could have been so much more. It's just for me, this story rocked. From the storyline, to the characters, to the tension and buildup, it hit all my buttons. And I felt it was well written as well. Intelligent yet emotional.
You might think I should have rated it lower for it's flaws, but I rate books on how they make me feel and boy did this make me feel! And the sex tease was HOT! Just as hot as the dirty deed itself.
I read trashy romance novels. Don't know why any of you others read them, but for me they really do me a service. I love getting lost in the love of others, simply put. This book accomplished that in so many ways. Yes I'd rather the story had been longer and more detailed, but the depth was definitely there. I felt their long relationship, and that went a long way in satisfying that back story need, so that the instant heat and relationship shift to sex and romance, from little sister/big brother feel, was completely believeable and just worked.
Yes there was a bit of Master/sub going on but really it was mostly he is a true alpha/Dom type of guy, and he had no problems letting it show with the one person he should show it to, the one he feels so right with. She had a few issues, but he wasn't pushing it fully like he could and would in a formal dom/sub relationship. It felt more like testing the waters. He brings it up, almost casually, but confidently, she's shocked, she balks, he reiterates, she goes silent, she thinks. He drops a few more tidbits. She's thinking more. Takes time to think more while beginning to rationalize and test it out, justify it in her mind. Voila. That's how a real dom does it. The best way to introduce a newbie anyway, in my opinion. Domination isn't just whips and chains, it's mental manipulation and mind fucks, even if they are gentle ones. It was also taking place as it should, not as a completely nonconsenual mindfuck that you see in a good bit of todays romances. Nothing wrong with those if its your thing, its just not mine, generally.
My like of the H speaks to my submissive nature and the fact that I need a bit of torture emotionally in my read. The H fulfilled that here by being a jerk but his uncharacteristic heartfelt words later more than redeemed him. Hell no one, NO ONE, is perfect and many f up, in real life and fantasy life. He was also portrayed as intelligent, well spoken and confident.
What I'm impressed with here, is the fact the author got me to add the H to my all time fave Hero list. Bravo. Josh will always be with me now. Just wish I had more of him. Can't wait for Her Proud King and hopefully so much more to follow! Thank you!

I like my books dirty, sexy and packed full of bossy alpha men and this book is dirty, sexy and has a seriously bossy alpha man.
Josh has a filthy mouth and the dirty talk is brilliantly rude and this book is ALL ABOUT THE SEX!!!
Yep it’s ALL ABOUT THE SEX, BOUT THE SEX, NO STORY!!!
This is literary porn because honestly the storyline is seriously thin!!
Tish the oldest, most eloquent six year old in the world after dealing with her drug addict mother for years, meets Josh when she is ten and he is twenty eight. He looks after her and cares for her as a child but they are separated when Tish is 16 and Josh is arrested for possession of drugs.
He is released from prison four years later and basically they go at it like rabbits.
This is a novella and unfortunately the curse of the novella strikes again.
This would have been a fantastic full length novel; it would have been great to have a story that extended past the bedroom and to really get to know the characters.
As word porn goes this is great, it gets the job done. There’s sex, dirty talk, some Dom/sub hints, oral sex, outdoor sex, a nod to anal basically every base is covered. But there was no depth; it was sex for the sake of sex because I didn’t feel the connection between Josh and Tish was anything deeper than obsession.
Don’t get me wrong I enjoyed this book, I love some good smut but it just could have been deeper and more intense.

At first I wasn't sure about this book because of the age difference but it was a very enjoyable book. It wasn't one of those books where she calls him daddy and it makes the relationship very creepy. It was as tasteful as you could make a tough, alpha biker. We all know they are crude with their language which is what makes them irresistible and Josh was no different.
Tish hasn't had a very easy life at all. Her mom is an addict and Tish has basically raised both herself along with her mother. She has never had a real childhood and was basically an adult for most of her childhood years. Her mom moves them, when she's 12, to the town where the uncle she never knew she had lives. Josh comes to watch her while her mom was out doing what she does and when Tish opens the door to let him in she falls instantly in love with him. She grows more attached as the years go by and he becomes one of the most important person to her. One day he gets arrested and she loses him for 3 years.
What happens when she finds out the reason he arrested? They haven't seen or talked in 2 years, will things go back to the way they were before? What happens when she finds out she feels more for him? What happens when he acts cold and hurtful towards her? Is there any way to move forward from there?
This was a really good book and one that I'm glad that I read. I really look forward to reading more by Tiff P. Raine.

Seriously, how lucky can one obsess readers can get? I've been burning my eyes out, but how can you help it if the books you're getting your hands on are nothing but an automatic page turner.
His Young Queen: (Steel Jackals MC #1) by Tiff P. Raine, is well-written, but what's best, the story nicely built, the characters well developed and very believable. We get to know about Tish's struggles since her childhood. Even though the beginning is heartbreaking and maddening at the same time, it sucked me right in, and couldn't let go. This story is refreshing, I know the first chapters are tuff, and I'm also aware this is a series and eventually stories may get violent and bloody, but for me this was an excellent start for once, and I'm looking forward for the rest of the series!
Then, there was Josh “The Guardian” Sylvan, the Steel Jackals’ viciously loyal Sergeant at Arms that was sent by Tish's uncle to keep her safe, and from there the story got only better and better. The chemistry between our two main characters is not just about getting tangle in each other's arms, cause goes deeper than that.
When I found a great story with an Amazing Author as Tiff P. Raine , I get to feel things, visit places and worlds I would never otherwise know I was capable to experience.
I can't wait to put my hands on HER PROUD KING, and find out how Josh and Tish's are doing.

This story is refreshing, I know the first chapters are tuff, and I'm also aware this is a series and eventually stories may get violent and bloody, but for me this was an excellent start for once, and I'm looking forward for the rest of the series!
Then, there was Josh “The Guardian” Sylvan, the Steel Jackals’ viciously loyal Sergeant at Arms that was sent by Tish's uncle to keep her safe, and from there the story got only better and better. The chemistry between our two main characters is not just about getting tangle in each other's arms, cause goes deeper than that.
When I found a great story with an Amazing Author as Tiff P. Raine , I get to feel things, visit places and worlds I would never otherwise know I was capable to experience.
I can't wait to put my hands on HER PROUD KING, and find out how Josh and Tish's are doing.

This was exactly what I expected it to be. Fast and sexy read starring a Hot biker guy and an innocent independent girl. Hot and absolutely burning with love and want. This pairing is hard not to fall in love with. It was really hard in the beginning, reading how Tish had to be mature for her own age and how independent she had to become just to survive but when things started to get better for her, everything shifted.
Twice her age, obviously he has had his fair share of experience more than Tish but Jack acts as if he is clueless cause he can't control how he feels for Tish and I thought that was really cute. This is the first time I have ready story-lines like this and I never in my years of reading experience thought I'd like this kind of story. Jack is the perfect escape for Tish. And Tish is the perfect girl for Jack.
4 stars for my first book from Tiff Raine and well, I now have to say that I need the next book for this series like I need my next breath. ASAP.

His Young Queen has a great premise. Tish is a young girl with a crappy start to life. Things finally look up when she and her mother move near her uncle, and his motorcycle club. There, as a child, she meets Josh. He gets sent to prison when Tish is a teenager, and a majority of the story happens when he is released, 4 years later.
This book had a lot of pluses and minuses for me. I always enjoy a good taboo relationship. The sex scenes were hot and steamy. The hint of what could be another relationship from secondary characters really intrigued me.
What didn't resonate well with me was just how naive and immature Tish acted, then next was talking about basically being an old soul, she's been through a lot of crap, yes, but still pretty young. Josh coming in and demanding to be Master was kind of odd as well. This was also touted as an MC, but we really got nothing about that. I wish that was explored more. I also wish there was more depth to the main characters. I was captivated by them, but WHO they are wasn't explored. Just their sexual chemistry, which they had in spades.
Overall, this was a great book, it's quick and very steamy. If that's what you are looking for, definitely give it a shot.

I have mixed feelings about this story. There were parts I really liked and parts that made me really uncomfortable. Reading the background on Tish and Josh was fascinating to me. Reading some of the "intimate" scenes made me squirm, and not in a good way. I'm not a prude, but this was too much for me. I could not relate to these characters and I thought Tish's first sexual experience was extreme and unbelievable. Josh had too many hang-ups, and though he clearly loved her, there was something very disturbing about their relationship - and it was not the age difference.
Despite the negatives, the characters have stuck with me. It's like they've taken up residence in my brain and I keep wondering about them. Maybe my subconscious is trying to figure them out because I couldn't relate to them. It's strange, and I don't know whether to recommend this book or not. I'm giving it 3 stars because I didn't love it and I didn't hate it.

I thought this book His Young Queen was a very sweet story. I really liked Josh he was a sweetheart and very protective of Tish. Tish was a very young and sweet as well. She had feelings for Josh since she was a little girl. Josh became very protective of her since her mother was a junkie and didn't take good care of her. Josh is older than Tish but she doesn't care about the age difference she is in love with him. I really liked His Young Queen and enjoyed reading about an older man and younger lady it was an excellent book. Looking forward to reading more from this author.

But in the best kind of way! When things get crazy she is determined to stay on track! That is until her surprise comes to her and she is all for it! Or is she?
Josh and Tish's story is amazing, it's emotional and sexy as can be! I loved it! It's right to the point, the characters are well thought out and the story line is awesome!

3 Quick but HOT Stars
I liked this book for what it was, quick, super steamy and intriguing. Although this was short I liked the story and felt there was room for a lot more, maybe even a full length novel.
There is apparently a second book coming out about this couple called "Her Proud King"; however, I have not been able to find a release date... That said at the end of this book it does say this continues. Please note there is a happy for now ending with no cliffhanger.
If you like quick and steamy with an almost taboo 18 year age gap between the hero and heroine you might want to give this a try :)
