ONE UNFORGETTABLE NIGHT

Natalie Sinclair was stunned to discover she'd been drugged --- and impregnated. Even more shocking was the identity of her baby's father: Rick Gravari, her sworn enemy. Now the only way to uncover the truth and reveal the mastermind behind their mysterious one night together was to join forces with the one man who was completely off-limits.

As the peril around them intensified, Natalie realized the dangerous men on their trail were nothing compared to the tender emotions provoked by her baby's father. But could she trust her once formidable foe's determination in his role as hard-nosed defender?

This was a really good book! The plot kept me wondering who was behind all that was going on. This story had action, lots of suspense, and sweet Romance.

Natalie’s mom had a Birthday party for her, after Natalie had gotten back from a trip. At the party she didn’t drink. A month later she finds out she is pregnant. Her sister found a video feed of that very night with Natalie, and the mystery guy, both were walking drunk like. She finds out by talking to him that he does not remember that night. They were both drugged. The person that had drugged them now wants to take both of them out. Jake and Natalie did not like one another, now they are brought together by a pregnancy, and someone who is after both of them. They make a good team. I love how gentle Jake treats Natalie. I also love how they get along, talk things out, and little by little they put their past behind them. Jake is very protective over Natalie, and his baby. This was a really good book, and would recommend it to anyone!

Sample from chapter 10
Natalie followed his lead, looking around until she located another extinguisher on the other side of the open bay area. She hurried to retrieve it as Rick began to spray the flames. Natalie sprayed the foam as well, but it didn’t take her long to realize that this was a losing battle. The fire was spreading. Fast. And she could feel the brutal heat scorching her face. Rick obviously realized the same thing because he dropped the extinguisher, caught onto her arm and began running toward the door. In just those few steps, the smoke began to close in around them. It was dark and thick. Suffocating.

I had a little trouble with the back cover of this one. She was drugged and her then mortal enemy had sex with her and got her pregnant. But then I found out he was drugged too. They were both drugged the night of her birthday party by something that made them feel sexual towards each other. Not that they did not already have feelings for each other. I liked the way Rick Gravari and Natalie Sinclair decided to work together once they knew she was pregnant. They had to try to find put who got them pregnant and who was trying to kill them.

Ridiculous and unrealistic, but entertaining. Glad I grabbed it out of the free box.

Good book

Another good book by Delores Fossen. The storyline was a little “out there” but I could believe it. The characters were perfect for each other.

This was a good story. Rick and Natalie were just meant to be together. They’ve known each other for years and their feelings for each other are so strong. You can immediately see how they struggle to remain hostile with each other for many different reasons. Some people have tried to keep them apart some people have tried to get them to be together. As a result of this push and pull they end up spending a night together that they don’t remember and Natalie ends up pregnant. I loved how they sparred but can’t stop themselves from showing and admitting they care about each other.

The only thing I didn’t like was how a mutual friend of theirs at his death bed asks them to stay apart. Regardless of why he did it, I found it to be kind of selfish. People usually blurt out the truth when they’re dying, not try to make things harder for others.

The book was originally a did not finish for me. I just didn't care for the characters and could not get into the drama of the book. I reread it in hopes that it would get better for me. I finished it, but I still didn't care of the story. It was too far fetched high drama for me. I have read and really liked other books by Delores Fossen, just not this particular book.
