Teresa is a beaten down werewolf who is used to being raped and told she is worthless. When she finally escapes, it's not all she expects. She still has to use her body but now she has to provide for herself. Helpless and trying to adjust, she is lucky and a vampire finds her to his liking. Gavin is the 2nd most powerful vampire in this Southern region. As the right hand man of the Abbott, he has power and money. At first, Teresa is just a blood slave for Gavin's food. Then Ms. Blevins gets it on.

For those who are expecting a love story, this is not the book for you. For those who enjoy S&M, formal protocol and lack of privacy, this is the book for you. Gavin is a sadist and he makes no apologies for it. He doesn't set up arbitrary rules so that he can "catch" Teresa and give her some funishment. He beats, whips and tortures her for his sexual satisfaction. This is not a book for the mild. For those who need to have love and romance, this is not that kind of erotica. This is raw, gritty submission without any safewords. There is a contract which I'm not surprised to see. If there is one fetish Ms. Blevins has, is her love for contracts. I loved it. This is a dark, intense Master/slave relationship. For some, they may find it bad for Teresa. For others, they may find it just what she needs. Personally, seven years of paying her dues will bring a lot for her. The one part I liked most is why Teresa decides to stay with Gavin. He's like her fairy godfather from a Grimm's fairy tale. The most precious of sacrifices is in blood for a vampire. Teresa will be shedding and paying in blood and tears. Delicious.

This book is a dream for me. Because my dreams follow along the same lines as what Gavin does. Reading this story gives me that frightened arousal because I know it hurts so good and the man with the power is neither good nor bad. If I were a shifter, I would take the contract as a slave with Gavin. It would be a long painful term yet so glorious.

Recommended for kinky readers who enjoy dark, violet and painful sexual pleasure.

This story was a free read, courtesy of Candace Blevins...and in hope of my honest review...here it is.

Theresa, later renamed Queenie, at the start is a lone, downtrodden werewolf, who's been taken in by the Rolling Thunder Motorcycle Club, and is working as a prostitute for them and herself after her lifetime of cruelty and abuse with another pack Alpha.

Gavin, powerful, long lived, a highly intelligent and aware vampire, and second only to The Abbott, head of this region's vampire clan. He uses the RTMC prostitutes for feeding and sexual purposes. He senses and sees Theresa.

Through their senses they are attracted to each other, but in a use and be used, slave/Master situation, no erotic romance here. His needs are for food, someone to hurt to his sadistic and sexual satisfaction come what may. Her needs, to serve...but also with hope of future independence and place in her society. There is an honesty to each other in their story.

The interrogation scenes are torturous, and at times vicious, the control, feeding and sexual links are depraved, but also highly erotic in the dark ways vampirism and werewolves can evoke in us. There is a sharing and use of slaves by other invited vampires and one ménage scene elucidating such.

This has a story, but is a complex scene setting too.
I'm hoping this was the start of their stories and time together, I want to read more about them, and found this story far too short to do them justice. I like the way Candace is adding her own rules to the ever growing mythology of the vampire and werewolf subgenres within the paranormal umbrella. But this is a series, whether Gavin & Queenie/Theresa are the focus in future stories, we the readers can hope and wait and see. But I for one wanted more!

I was given this book for an honest review

This was a pretty good book it was no romance it was dark erotica and I loved reading it. Gavin is a thousand year old vampire who is second in command to The Abbott. He goes to the Rolling Thunder Motorcycle Club to have sex and feed from a prostitute he went looking for Belinda when she was busy when he see's Teresa he has to have her. Teresa is a she-wolf who has been through a lot she was used an abused by her former Alpha and his friends she came to the club looking for work and although they had Randall talk to her she decided not to join his pack. Gavin realized that Teresa was trained to handle the things that he likes to do so he makes her in offer to stay with him for a week he wants her to be his slave. The sex scenes in this book were hot and dark Gavin was very hard on Teresa this book had m/m and menage scenes and loved reading about it all. Gavin makes her an offer for long term commitment to him and when she leaves him she will be rich and will be able to take care of herself. This book was well written with no errors in grammar or spelling. I am looking forward to reading more book in this series.

Teresa is a broken werewolf. Sexually abused by her alpha from a young age, she has managed to escape and find work as a prostitute for the Rolling Thunder Motorcycle Club. The RTMC is at a loss as to what to do with the lone wolf. Too broken to handle most of their clients, the MC has to take special precautions to prevent further traumatizing her, yet they can’t bring themselves to send her on her way.

Gavin is a powerful vampire that is between slaves. He encounters Teresa at the RTMC hotel, and senses a power about her that no one else can feel. He knows instantly that he has to make her his. He offers her a one week trial run as the first step in becoming his slave. Teresa knows what it takes to please a vampire, yet decides it might just be the opportunity that she needs.

This story is much darker than the other books in the RTMC series. There’s no romance here, Gavin makes it clear early on that Teresa will never be anything more than a slave. The BDSM is much heavier in this one too, it’s kind of like the Safeword series amped up with a self-healing werewolf.

I don’t think Candace Blevins can write a bad story. Just like all her other books this one captured my attention from the first page to the last. I find myself wanting to get to the end, yet not wanting the story to end. I love how she manages to weave characters together from all the different stories and make them work together. I would recommend this to anyone looking for dark erotica, but if you are looking for the romance component found in the other RTMC books you aren’t going to find it here.

I was given this book by the author for an honest review.....

To be honest this book took me a bit to get into, but by the end I strangely loved it. I say strangly as this is no love story, there are no hearts and flowers, yet I felt happy for Queenie at the end.
Queenie who is a shapeshifter, she's a human/ wolf and has been owned before. As a wolf and female she has to have an alpha to live her life, she has to belong or be a lone wolf, once you come to terms with this relationship, her later slavery is easier to accept. This book is a short read, and centres around Candices previous series about a motorbike club including bash. They protect and look after Queenie, but she earns her living by selling herself for sex and blood. Gavin discovers her here and sees her full potential, and is willing to train her to become something better.
I did find this "trading" had to understand and accept, but then the author shows us Queenies view of her life and what she's had previously. This was the turning point for me, I then understood why Queenie felt that this "slavery" was the best thing for her. I hope we see more of Queenie as I would love to see what she does become.
This is a dark book, with not so pleasant images, but I feel this is where the tallent if this author lies. She enables us to be part of the book, no matter how unpleasant...fab

You know Candace, all I can say right off the bat is WOW. Vampire, BDSM, Menage and dark... whew! Yes you get all that in this one story. 75 pages of story that was just enough detail for the length, loved the fact that I got to see other characters I knew. The two main characters personality filled out well.

Bambi annoyed my a bit in the Bash series, this one her development shocked me but I was all about bambi. A down and out abused wolf shifter that knows no better than selling her body, something she has down all her life.
Gavin a powerful vampire out to see is "dinner" takes on bambi, instead of who he normally sees. Touching Bambi's mind he thinks he wants to get to know her better and offers her a deal for a week.

Dark at its finest, stepping into someones mind seeing their thoughts, bring pain with pleasure and pain just because it feeds you. Gavin was nothing but honest in how he will see Bambi, he pulls no punches. its not fairy tails and rainbows.

Gavin is second to “The Abbott” master vampire of pretty much the whole southeast which means he is no slouch power wise. He needs new challenges and werewolf Teresa is a challenge like he hasn’t had in a while. Gavin gives Teresa an opportunity to better herself and her living conditions but it will come at a cost.
Indentured Freedom: Owned by the Vampire is NOT A ROMANCE! It is a dark erotic tale that is not for the faint of heart. Honestly if it hadn’t been set in a paranormal setting it would have been too dark for me. But paranormal creatures can get away with a lot more.

Abused and beaten down to nothing all her life, Teresa finally escapes from her Alpha and working in the RTMC's whore hotel. They've given her a chance to start over and and be independent.
Gavin arrives at the hotel planning on his usual visit to relieve some attention and possibly feed. When his usual gal is unavailable, he meets Tersa and immediately knows he wants her and not just for the night. He wants her to become his slave.
Teresa is eager and knows how to please a vampire, but leaving one master alpha for another is something she doesn't know she can do.
I loved this short story. A very dark and sensual read not for the faint at heart. I liked that the author reintroduced characters from previous books and this may not be a true happily ever after, but it's definetely not a sad one. It's very raw and has a great sense of domination and submission. Five fangs for this quick read!

Wow....that was some story to read!!!

this is the 1st time i can't imagine the face of all the characters in my head other than just a vamp wearing all black and it really made me more curious.

the story even though a little bit confusing for me but i liked it.
This is the 1st time also i read slavery vamp story but unfortunately not enough intrigue in it just a casual story for me.

This is not a romance. The beating, etc. are only survivable due to the paranormal aspect of the sub. A satisfying ending, but not for a typical reason.

I picked this on up because I enjoyed the Only Human (Kirsten O'Shea series). There are some characters in both stories, but knowledge of one isn't needed for the other. She also has another series out, that is also set in the same area.

Ok, so if you want a romance with a happily hea, this is not the book for you. This story isn't tender or full of growing love. It's one person recognizing the potential in another, and both reaping the benefits of a total power exchange. oh wauuuuuuuu

this book ain't for the fainthearted or the swoon-maidens out there !!!!
this is a dark, sadistic, no-romance BDSM relationship with a happy ending but without romance in sight !!! we are back to the ground, basic BDSM with no love involved.
but still, with all this --- it is a damn good story !!!

Candace is coming back to her SAFEWORD roots and she's doing herself proud.
In my humble opinion, it takes a LOT to write a good, quality BDSM relationship when you take the romance/love/infatuation out of the picture. and Candace did this with flying colors.

I was well into BDSM and vampire genre before this book and I appreciated them - the ruthless nature, dominance without affection, ruling without emotions, the basics of BDSM, so I can say, I had my bar set high for this book. and, let me tell you ... Candace exceeded my expectations. There is only one more author that I hold on the pedestal when it comes to Vampire romance. and now I need to make place for one more queen :)

this is a story set in a paranormal realm - a vampire and a lone wolf. the story line follows the general story line form her series but its on its own.

What I like from this story is the how character - in this case Teresa, a lone wolf - is finding her footing in the cruel world ruled by supernatural forces and the rule of the strongest, and the shift of precious balance between good and evil.
Its the part of finding one self in all that and the fulfillment of ones soul in the world order and finding peace.
That is just what Teresa wanted, and it came wrapped in one fine vampire that knew just how harsh to be and also how to bring out the best in her and how to make her shine and find her worth, at the same time putting her in her place in the relationship that they are forming.
Delightful isn't a term that you would think, but when you get past the brutality (hahahah) you get the pure essence of BDSM and that is something that drove me to this genre and still holds me.

Thank you Candace for this gem, it was a break from the mush of the romance surrounding us, taking us out with a good punch !!! and we (me,myself and I) want more of this, of you willing to share with the world.

Okay, I'm wondering what I've just read... This is just my 2nd (short) book of this author but it seems she has a fondness of treating her female characters quite violently.
I have yet to understand why Bambi/Queenie/Teresa needed to be treated the way Gavin and the Abbott did.

Gavin Wilson, second in power to The Abbott is a very powerful vampire and highly intelligence. Gavin is not particular choosy , he just likes to fuck “Gender doesn’t matter to me. People are people, and everyone has holes to fuck.”




Teresa/Bambi/Queenie, an abused werewolf working as a prostitute for the Rolling Thunder Motorcycle Club who took her in and gave her a home and a family. When offered to become the slave of a vampire Teresa decides I knew why I’d oath my freedom away if it meant I’d belong to Gavin. The fact he saw me for who I am. No one else had

They had an ceremony and Gavin took her into the torture chamber, but then the story ends....and left me wondering a whole lot!
I probably need to read more of this author to understand all these characters; it looks like all her books evolve around them.

Dark underbelly is an appropriate name for this series, and this book isn't any exception to that. Gavin is dark, nasty, and sadistic, and he isn't at all apologetic about those facts. As second in command to the Abbott, he is powerful, but right away, when he meets her, he knows there is more to Bambi then meets the eye

Bambi has been under someones thumb her whole life. From her alpha, to another vampire, to the RTMC, she works well when someone tells her what to do. Gavin seems to see all of her, pieces she didn't know exist, and he is determined to show them to her as well

Once they start on their experiment, and Bambi becomes Queenie, they are perfect partners in life. They won't be together forever, but for their time together, they will use each other, and learn from each other, and be better in the supernatural world because of it

If you like the darkness, the dub-con, total slave, the pain, the ownership, in a story, then you will most definitely want to be Owned by the Vampire!

I was looking forward to reading Teresa/Bambi's story since we first met her in Bash, Volume I, I was hoping she would get a happy ending but since it stated in the blurb "Indentured Freedom is unapologetic erotica. It has a story and a plot, but it isn't a romance." I knew she wouldn't be getting it in this book. I'm still holding out hope that she will get her HEA eventually.

In this book we learn more about Teresa's past and why she was running away from her old Alpha. There was something that I liked about Gavin, I guess the main reason would be that he wanted to help Teresa be "more" then what others saw her as...now I cannot go into what that is because it would give a lot away, but just know that no-one really looked into her mind and saw everything until Gavin.

Hm..... strange book. I liked the appearance of the familiar characters from previous books but I absolutely did not like the way Teresa/Queeny/Bambi was treated... and I didn't understand why it was necessary for Gavin to treat her that way..... and whole the getting-into-the-mind-thing was confusing. So, for me, definitely one of the lesser books by Candice Blevins.

Near the end of Bash: Volume I readers are introduced to Gavin, The Vampire, at the time he meets Teresa, lone wolf, part human. The possibilities of what can be between Gavin and Teresa remains a mystery. In this brief tale, the reader is introduced to a very dark interpretation of vampirism. Gavin will not win hearts in this one but then... he's vampire.

If you expect a fluffy Bambi story then do not touch this book!
If you expect another piece of Ms Blevins' hardcore supernatural world, then you are in for a treat.
Gavin, Second to Abbott, retains the use of a young she-wolf from the RTMC. For one week she is to be his, to do whatever he wants with, and to her. After this week both will decide if they enter into a permanent arrangement.
The ordeal Gavin puts Queeny through, is brutal and unapologetic. But she also gets the oportunity to grow into her strength, while being Gavins' slave.
No HEA to have here. Just a mutually beneficial business arrangement of the supernatural kind. With bells, and whistles, whips and chains.

Take a while to think about it before you answer. What does she do with her freedom time? She returns to her Master. Although she is a slave to him, he is the only one that gave her a choice.

I need more

Such a good story and I need more. More Gavin, more Queenie and more Abbott. This is definitely not a romance and yet it gave me the feels anyway. Watching the way Gavin's mind worked Queenie over just made me want to see more of him. The way Queenie learns her potential and chooses her path made the exchange between them make sense. I can't wait to see where this goes and how they are doing when they appear in other books.

Gavin is a hard Master

Bambi is working at the RTMC Hotel & is in the room when Gavin enters looking for a girl. She offers herself & gets introduced to his kind of play. He wants her for a long-term slave & she agrees to a one week trial run. She finds out much about herself & her new Master in that week, does she want long term??

It's intense! Gavin is a hard Master. But she becomes Queenie for him.

Dead End

NeAr the end of Bash: Volume three, readers are introduced to Gavin, The Vampire , at the time he meets Theresa, lone wolf, part human. The possibilities of what can be between Gavin and Theresa remains a mystery. In this brief tale, the reader is introduced to a very dark interpretation of vampirism. It was interesting to see the interactions between he and Queenie. At some point, I would love to read their complete stories. I recommend reading books by this author, as I have never been disappointed in anything I have read by her!

Everyone has their dark side but Gavin is really acting it out.
Because Teresa has had an awful life she can’t really handle life on her own.
Despite the dark acts she is able to feel gratitude towards Gavin.
I loved how he emphasized that she’d learn by reading.
