Lucky and Deanna's story was so funny and heartfelt that i really did not want it to end, Seriously would love to read more of this couple. Melanie Shawn has written another winner!!!! Even though this is the 12th book in the Hope Falls Series it can be read as a stand alone. I must say this writing duo just keeps getting better with every book!!!!!!!

Refreshing prose, low on the drama scale. Deanna is a firefighter, new in town and assigned ‘dog-walking’ duty of the Chief’s pet, Lucky. Unleashed he takes off, with her in pursuit. Colliding with Lucky ‘the man’, she is taken aback as she called out for Lucky and ‘the man’ kept responding ‘’what’? Finally they both realise the human and the dog share the name ‘Lucky’.

The others at the firehouse had been waiting for her with a stopwatch. Turns out “you don’t need a leash” warning was her rookie initiation. Her time of forty-five minutes was a record. No one else had recovered him in under an hour, well-known for running off towards the river the second he hit the trail.

Lucas ‘Lucky’ Dorsey is conflicted, adrift, lacklustre in his smorgasbord of conquests...needing purpose to centre him. Failing to impress Deanna with his charms, he reevaluates his lifestyle.

At eight Deanna’s supermodel mum had bestowed a box of Slimming drinks as a present. Victoria Lane had encouraged her thirteen-year-old daughter to follow in her footsteps by joining her on an ad campaign, convincing her that it would be a bonding experience. She’d overheard her mother’s stylist and her agent discussing the client’s preference for Deanna since they were targeting a younger demographic.

Her mother raised her with unrealistic and impossible standards. She lived for the summertime (her father’s time), but because of his career, he was gone more often than not. Instead, she got to stay at her aunt and uncle’s house with her four male cousins. Mackenzie Sutton had lived next door and became Deanna’s best and only friend.

The only time she had stayed with her father the entire summer, she had been fourteen and he’d orchestrated bonding time with her. His partying was reflecting badly on the team and the manager recommended Deanna might offer a “family-friendly” image. His image might’ve been boosted but there hadn’t been anything family-friendly about her visit. She’d witnessed copious amounts of groupies, womanising, betrayal and cheating.

Freshman year of college, her first boyfriend—her first everything—was the quarterback of the football team. The night after she’d lost her virginity, she overheard him confiding to his frat brothers that he was banging Deanna so she’d take him home for the holidays for him to meet and hook up with her mother.

Lesson learnt-her parents used her as a marketing tool to advance their careers and the boyfriend was unscrupulous.

With a retired supermodel as your mother and a Hall of Fame baseball player as your father, you accept that mediocrity isn’t an option. Deanna spent her livelihood striving for excellence.

Her life was spent searching for a place to belong. She’d never belonged in her parent’s worlds. The only time she’d experienced a sense of belonging was her summers spent with her aunt and uncle. Her aunt and uncle had made her feel like she was their daughter, as much as her cousins had made her feel like she was their sister, yet she’d felt an outsider.

Levi to Lucky
At thirty “you’re tired of the parade of interchangeable arm candy you’ve been sampling from…well, since your ba**s dropped. And as far as your career, all I ever heard you talk about was fighting The Hammer. You’ve done that. Maybe it’s time to consider retirement. Have you given any thought to what your life is going to look like after MMA? Did you really think you’d be able to keep up with your lifestyle forever?”
Maybe. Okay, yes.

Lucky became sexually active at twelve and has been active since then...

Favourite quotes at the bar:
〰️Bachelor #2 - asking if she had washed her pants in Windex because he saw himself in them.

〰️Bachelor #3 - decided to bypass class and creativity all together. His pickup line was, “Show me your tits.”
She retorted “Okay.” The shock in the douchebag’s eyes had been priceless as he’d repeated in a questioning tone, “Okay?” “Sure. Right after you show me your dick”.

〰️”his pole had been trying to erect itself ever since” (Lucky).

Their dance had made her feel something she’d vowed to never feel again — when at thirteen her mother had lied to her about the photo shoot and at fourteen when her father had lied to her about the summer and then again at eighteen when her boyfriend had used her...vulnerable.

Lucky is completely smitten with Deanna and is a saint for perseverance since Deanna had no intention of making the chase easy, distrusting of his motives.

Yes, I started a series from the 12th book, even though each book is standalone and you can read out of order. Maybe someday I will try and read the first installment of the series.
’Lucky Kiss’ is a short book that took me over two months to read. I started the book for a reading challenge that I had to quit for personal reasons. During those two months, I picked the book and read a chapter or two, and put it to the side to read something else. Today when I saw that I had only 20% to finish the book, I said to myself, enough is enough; you like Deanna & Lucky’s story, it is time to get to the point of their happily ever after.
For me,’ Lucky Kiss’ is a three-star book. In my opinion, Deanna and Lucky’s relationship takes a bit too long built-up for the 260-page book. And the other reason that I didn't like so much was the conflict that it was 10% before the end.
I believe I have to take some time to pick up another book from the Hope Fall series. I am sure that I will give another chance to the sister duo Melanie Shawn.

❤❤❤❤

Lucky (Lucas) and Deanna were absolutely perfect! When they first met it was so cute! I loved how she didn’t know who Lucky was like the others in Hope Falls. They were both new to the town so I was happy that they got know each other. I loved how he never gave up on Deanna. He’s so sweet, caring and protective that I loved seeing that side of him with her. Deanna let him little by little until she knew they belong together. I loved everything about their relationship. The ending was absolutely beautiful! Can’t wait to go back to Hope Falls soon! So excited to continue this series. 🥰💫❤️

Oh I loved the mention of Jessie. Makes me want to reread that series all over again. ☺️

Welcome back to Hope Falls! It’s always so great to visit my favorite series with my favorite characters especially after a long wait. After finishing Magic Kiss I was having withdrawals and was so looking forward to Lucky Kiss. Melanie and Shawna do not disappoint in this installment of my favorite series!

Lucky Dorsey is a new citizen of Hope Falls. He’s a playboy with the ladies and champion MMA fighter who’s reached a plateau and feels sort of empty. He moved to Hope Falls after winning the biggest fight of his career because he feels like something is missing in his life and he has no sense of home. Since his brothers Levi and Logan, his dad Charlie and his cousin Adam are there it only makes sense to get closer to them and hopefully find his home and fill in the gap.

Deanna, a badass Firefighter, also just moved to Hope Falls and has never felt a sense of home. She’s Eli Bishop’s cousin (we’ve seen him in the other installments of the series) and the daughter of a supermodel and Hall of Fame baseball player. She’s experienced some unfortunate events in the past that have made her hate feeling vulnerable and has a hard time trusting men, especially athletes. The last thing she’s looking for is a romance especially with one of the hottest, cockiest, playboy athletes she’s ever met, or so she thinks….

Fate steps in and takes things in her own hands wether Lucky and Deanna like it or not. Lucky embraces the chance to be with beautiful Deanna and quickly falls for her but ends up having to prove himself to her over and over again (which is the first time he’s ever had to do that, how do you think he got his nickname!). I loved that there were so many layers to Lucky that are revealed as the story goes on. Deanna has this preconceived image of him and I love that she finally sees the real man that’s just as vulnerable, caring, strong and loving as she is. In each other they finally find the missing link, their home, and their one true love.

There are some twists and turns in this story that kept me at the edge of my seat and I seriously couldn’t put this book down until I finished it. At times I was laughing, cheering and even had tears in my eyes which just goes to show how amazingly well Melanie and Shawna write. This has to be one of my favorite installments of the series to date. Of course I always think that with each book until the new one comes out. The series just keeps getting better and better and I can’t wait until the next installment! Melanie and Shawna’s writing style is witty, comical, romantic and downright sexy and they put everything together so wonderfully in each of their books. Do yourself a favor and pick this up, you won’t regret it!!

BTW, It’s so awesome that we get to see a glimpse of Jessie and Zach and Billy and Maxine (hopefully they get their own story *wink*) from the Crossroads series!!

**I received an ARC of this book from the author for an honest review**

It was so great to be back in Hope Falls! I love this little town and I'm excited every time we get the opportunity to go back!

Deanna Bishop is the first female to be a member of the Hope Falls fire department. She has always felt like she was the person that people liked to use, so doing something that she was passionate about, and something both her parents did not understand, along being independent are two very important things to her. When Deanna is out taking the fire chief's dog for a walk, she literally runs into Lucas "Lucky" Dorsey and while she has no idea who the famous MMA fighter is, she does know that he is one of the hottest men she's ever seen and she's affected by him, even if she doesn't want to be.

Lucky has moved cross country to not only be closer to his brothers and estranged father, but also to try to find the purpose in his life again. He has lost the passion he had for MMA fighting, which is what has for so long been the center of his life. He's hoping the change of scenery will help to jump start his passion. What he doesn't realize is that it isn't his passion for fighting that is going to be ignited, but his passion for a certain brown haired, green eyed firefighter.

As Lucky begins to realize that Deanna might be the answer to everything he never knew he wanted, she is less than receptive to his overtures, however he sees through her smokescreen pretty quickly. He decides to go slow and win her over by getting to know her even though he wants her in his bed badly. Will Lucky succeed in getting to the heart of the woman he has fallen hard and fast for? And, will the hangups that Deanna has prevent her from having the best thing to have come into her life in as long as she can remember?

I absolutely adore the writing of Melanie Shawn. I've been reading this series from the beginning and each one is always something to look forward to. While this is the 12th book in the series, it can be read as a standalone. I would recommend each and every book though!

Deanna Bishop is a rookie on the Hope Falls fire department. She's determined to be the very best fire fighter she can be. She's also a knock-out (her mom was a supermodel and her dad is a Hall of Fame baseball player). She spent summers in with her Bishop cousins (all male) and throughout her formative years only had one true female friend. The women of Hope Falls are reaching out to her and although she would love to cultivate some female friendships, she's not sure how; but the women are persistent.
Lucas "Lucky" Dorsey, world champion MMA fighter recently moved to Hope Falls to be near his brothers, cousin, and his dad. The move is only temporary as Lucky is training for another fight, but his heart isn't really in it. Something is missing and Lucky can't fathom what it is.
One morning while Lucky was out on a run, he kept hearing a woman calling for "Lucky". He kept answering her, yet she continued to call for him. Once Lucky's eyes hit on Deanna, he was smitten. However, Deanna was calling for "Lucky" the fire captain's dog, not Lucky the man. Obviously, the man wasn't aware of the situation and kept answering her. Once the dog was found and the situation was explained, Lucky asked Deanna out, but her response was negative because of her experiences with her dad and a previous "boyfriend", Deanna had vowed to NEVER date another athlete. But Lucky seems to have found what was missing from his life: a young, hot, female fire fighter named Deanna, and Lucky is not one to back away from a challenge.
Although I am not a fan of MMA, the focus of the story didn't dwell on this, so I found the storyline very enjoyable. As always, the characters were wonderful and the passion was HOT! It's always are treat for me to read about "old friends" from previous books and this book from this series did not disappoint.

"Lucky Kiss" is written by Melanie Shawn, and it is the 12th book in the Hope Fall series. It can be read as a stand-alone book. It features Lucky Dorsey and Deanna Bishop.

Words cannot describe how in love I am with this book! It was just so heartfelt, fun, and romantic to read! I couldn't put the book down! I was even reading it during my lunch break at work.

From the first moment Lucky saw Deanna, it was pretty much love at first sight for him. Their first encounter was definitely meet-cute and had me smiling. No matter how hard Deanna tried to resist him, Lucky was determined. He knew there was something special about her, and he wanted her in his life.

There were so many wonderful scenes between the two of them! I'm not going to spoil it, but there's one in particular where they played scrabble. The way Deanna described Lucky... just wow! Honestly, that was my favorite scene in the book, and I give props to Melanie and Shawna for being so descriptive with that scene. You could feel the range of emotions going through Lucky at that moment.

Their relationship was genuine, and I definitely enjoyed seeing their relationship grow into something more. One thing I really enjoyed was how Lucky was able to break down the walls surrounding Deanna's heart. He got to her, and she slowly realized that maybe she could find love with Lucky and be happy.

Hands down "Lucky Kiss" is my favorite book written by this sister duo of Melanie and Shawna! Lucky and Deanna just complimented each other perfectly. This is the type of book where I would have no problems re-reading it over and over again without ever getting tired of it. It's just that good!

Melanie Shawn is one of the handful of authors, whom I have read all the books they have published. I love her writing style, it is full of wit, humor, charismatic characters, forever type friends, friendly small towns, and completely swoon worthy romance, that will melt your heart and mind. I have never been disappointed with the stories they have created, and that is rare!
Lucky Kiss, is all the above, and then some.
I love how in love Lucky is with Deanna. And to find out, that he had a crush on her a long time ago, just made it even better. This ladies man MMA fighter has to work to get Deanna's affection. All her attention he has, no doubt, but she has sworn off from athletes, and determined to keep that promise.
Their first meeting brought a smile on my face and pretty much the story kept it there throughout. Lucky is willing to do anything to get Deanna. And every step of the way, she is trying to keep him on arm's length, with little success. The romance between them is steamy and passionate. Lucky's charm is unbelievable, the honesty between them is refreshing, and I loved that the conflicts were solved so quickly, without major drama.
This story, and author, is one that all contemporary romance readers should know, read, and not to miss! The story is entertaining and I get a huge kick out of the pop culture references. Lucky and Deanna together are perfect for each other. They are not perfect people, but they fit with each other, and that's what matters. Hope Falls gives them a warm welcome, like always. I admit, I cherish reading this book, going over the pages again and again, just to spend little extra time at Hope Falls... My favorite small town America

The duo sisters of Melanie and Shawna have been one of my all time top favorites and have read all their books; the Sloans being one of their most sizzling and charming creations to date, closely followed by the Hope Falls Series. And to date Hope Falls continue to home some amazing love stories – Something in the air for sure ;)

Book 12 in the series “Lucky Kiss” tames another the MMA alpha Lucas Dorsey as he falls for the fiery firefighter Deanna Bishop. Bad boy and all Lucky is on a break from MMA and where better to get plenty of R&R than Hope Falls. There’s magic in the air, romance in the wind and the citizens of Hope Falls sure know how to match-make unsuspecting people.

As they get to know each other, Lucky and Deanna have a multitude of insecurities to overcome. As they give into their sparks of attraction, painful pasts become an obstacle to a relationship. But then with the help and support of a wonderful family, the unconditional support of extended family and friends, and with the past making peace with the present, Lucky and Deanna just have to have their HEA.

It always gives me immense pleasure to read this sister duo of Melanie and Shawna as they continue to tease the readers with heartwarming love stories and amazing characters, who are just perfectly imperfect! What I love about their stories is the ease of their narration filled with so much humor and charm. I want a good love story to brighten my day, give me warm fuzzies and make my heart flutter, then Melanie Shawn it is for me.

This book is another in the Hope Falls series by Melanie Shawn. I always love “visiting” this town.. the people are genuine and the town is charming. Makes me want to live there!
Lucas (aka Lucky) is in town to spend time with his dad and brothers and also to train for his next MMA fight. He is out on a training run when he encounters Deanna, a rookie firefighter who is chasing down the chief’s dog Lucky. A bit of confusion ensues and the story begins…
Deanna is attracted to Lucky but she is trying to set her feelings aside. She keeps telling herself “if you play with fire you will get burned” which she knows well as a firefighter… but with Lucky she is fighting not an actual fire but the urges he ignites within her.
Lucky is in a slump… he is not sure he wants to continue fighting.. the allure is just not there any longer. He hopes spending time around family in the scenic mountains will ignite his fire for getting back into the ring… little does he suspect that a certain beautiful firefighter will start a fire within him but not necessarily for getting back into fighting.
I truly enjoyed this book and would recommend any and all of the Hope Falls series. I enjoyed my “visit” with the people in the town and hope there are more books to come!

Oh how I love watching the cocky players fall. It is always one of my favorite things to watch boys who think no woman will ever get to them get smacked in the face by love! Lucky is a professional MMA fighter who is feeling like something is missing in his life. He moves across the country to the small town his family has decided to call home, thinking family is what he is missing. Deanna is the daughter of two very famous celebrities who has spent most of her life not feeling wanted accept for the summers as a kid she got to spend with her family in Hope Falls. She is the first female firefighter in Hope Falls and is determined to not let anything or anyone distract her from being the best firefighter she can be. A chance meeting of Lucky and Deanna takes them from strangers to anything but. I loved watching these two circle each other both trying so hard to fight the instant attraction to each other and failing miserably. I love how Melanie and Shawna write dialogue that is so realistic I find myself quoting their books in real life. I also am a huge fan of the pop culture references they so ingeniously weave into the story. I mean any author who can work in a Full House reference has my undying love. I love all the books in the Hope Falls series. This is a series like Fools Gold and Lucky Harbor I hope never ends.

This is the Hope Falls story of Lucas “Lucky” Dorsey and Deanna Bishop. Lucky is a former Ranger and current MMA fighter. He has always been lucky with the ladies and with his job. He sets goals and does everything to achieve them. Now, Lucky is at the top of his career and met his professional goals. His "bad boy" reputation, although well-deserved, is no longer bringing him any joy/ excitement. He has moved temporarily to Hope Falls to be closer to his family and figure out what his next steps should be. Then he meets Deanna and his world and priorities shift. Deanna is a woman in a man's world as a firefighter and want to be taken seriously for her hard work and dedication. Her upbringing highlighted the horrors of jocks and players and she has no time to waste on meaningless relationships. Deanna is immensely attracted to Lucky but attempts to avoid him at all costs.

A wonderful read! I loved the tension between Lucky and Deanna. Both of them have stereotypes and misconceptions to overcome about one another. I absolutely loved that they were willing to talk to each other and not let problems fester for too long. Lucky opening up to Deanna first was endearing.

I say this every time...this is one of my favorites! This is Lucas "Lucky" Dorsey and Deanna Bishop's book. Lucky, a former Ranger and current MMA fighter goes to Hope Falls because something is missing from his life. He is in a rut, woman and fighting not doing a thing for him lately. During a chance meeting, Deanna literally walks right into him while out looking for a dog named Lucky as well. As soon as he sees her he feels like he had met and known her for years and decides that he wants her.
Deanna is the new firefighter in Hope Falls. When she runs into Lucky, she has no idea that he is famous. Once she finds out he is a professional athlete, she resists as much as possible, being that she is the daughter of a super model and professional athlete. Lucky is used to woman falling at his feet and since this gorgeous firefighter is putting up a fight he is going to do everything he can to show her that they are supposed to be together.
I loved seeing the other side to Lucky, the side he only let Deanna see. He is such a "quixotic" hero! (You will understand once you read it). Seeing the back and forth between these too and their characters evolving, just did something to me. I really enjoyed their story and fell in love with Lucky myself!
This is a MUST READ!

Wow!
Lucas "Lucky" Dorsey is so hot, that only a fire fighter could handle him..
Lucky can make your panties drop, just by looking at you..
He's the hottest UFC fighter on the planet, he has a reputation as the biggest playboy around...
But lately, he's not feeling the same drive for fighting, that has kept him going from the start of his career..
Lucky heads to Hope Falls, to be closer to his brothers, for the next three months...
Fate puts him into the path of the sexiest fire fighter he has ever seen..
Deanna Bishop has had her fair share of disappointments and she's not about to let anyone close enough to do the same...
Melanie and Shawna surprise us every time, just when you think their book can't get any better, they hit you with another amazing story..
If you haven't read any of the hope falls series, then you need to give your head a good shake..
I love these two amazing authors and can't get enough of them!!

Another sweet, yet sexy hot, love story by Melanie Shawn!

Lucas "Lucky" Dorsey had decided to join the rest of his family in Hope Falls, CA. HIs twin brother Logan, older brother Levi, cousin Adam and his Dad, Charlie AKA Pops, the newly reconciled member of the family, all have made their home in this cozy little town. Lucky is coming off of an awesome win in his MMA fighting career, but his head hasn't been in the game since.

Deanna Bishop is also new to town and is the first female firefighter Hope Falls Fire Department has ever had. She's got a history with fame in the family, so when she runs across the big bad MMA hero, she's quick to turn and run at the attraction she instantly feels for him.

Lucky is blown away by what he feels for her, and it energizes him to get his gym up and running and start getting his head back into training again. Can he convince Deanna that he's an okay guy or will she continue to give him the cold shoulder?

You can never go wrong with reading anything by Melanie Shawn. I can't get enough of this series.

I loved story line of Lucas and Deanna. I love that Deanna is strong woman trying to make her way in a male domainmated field of firefighters. What a great message that sends to the readers. Don't get me wrong I still like a man to take charge and be the hero every now and then. But this story line was refreshing. I loved that Lucas was the first to open up and not be the other way around. Nice switch up in role reversal. Dont get me wrong, Lucas is still the man in every sense of the word. It's just nice to see a man open up and be sensitive and caring as well.

This book will not disappoint at all and can be read as a stand alone. I would highly recommend that you read the series to appreciate the small community of Hope Falls and the hot men that live there.

Wow I thought that Logan and Emma’s book was hot but Lucky and Deanna’s book is hot and then some!! Lucky Kiss is funny, sexy, hot and intense all rolled into one. Lucky was a funny character. The way he describes himself and the things he did had me laughing out loud so many times. Deanna is a smart, strong woman who knows what she wants in life and goes for it. The interaction between the two is so romantic, sweet and hot. From the moment I picked up this book I could not get enough of it. The words and the pages just flowed from one chapter to the next. Before I knew it their story was finished and I was just left wishing for more. I would definitely recommend this book. It is a 5 star read that will have you laughing out loud one minute and hot with lust the next.

The first line, that is all it took and I was hooked. Needless to say that this book grabs you from the start and it only gets better.
I highlighted so many LOL passages that my notes section in kindle filled up; "The devil must be wearing a turtleneck and uggs because hell has definitely frozen over”; Lucky's analogies are insane, the dialogue is snappy, the reference are hysterical, he and Deanna have an amazing chemistry, their conversations are so so funny, the one in the truck on the way back from the gala had me in stiches

I love when authors bring back characters for other books and in this case characters from another series had cameos and It WAS GREAT!!!! Thank you so much for including Jessie and Zack ( I am a big fan of that entire series)

Deanna was a little annoying at times with self-doubt but the storyline overall was great!

I loved Lucky and Deanna's story. I enjoy every return visit to Hope Falls. Lucky is the final Dorsey man to get his own book. He moves to town when he needs a change from his MMA career. Deanna is a probationary firefighter who moves to town on the advice of her cousin Eli. Lucky feels like it's love at first sight, but Deanna needs some encouragement. I enjoyed watching them fall in love on their way to their happily ever after. I also enjoy all of the visits with other couples from the other books. I also enjoyed the glimpse into the next book and cannot wait to read it. I would highly recommend this book to anyone.

Lucky Kiss is the latest book in the Hope Falls series and is the story of Lucas "Lucky" Dorsey and Deanna Bishop.
Lucky is a professional mixed martial arts fighter who is new to the town of Hope Falls. Lately, he's been in a funk and he hopes that by moving closer to his family he'll start to feel more like himself.
Deanna is also new to town. She is a beautiful woman trying to be taken seriously as a firefighter. When it comes to men, Deanna has one rule - No Athletes!
There is an instant buzz of attraction between them, but Deanna doesn't know if she can trust Lucky's attentions. Can Lucky fight his way past Deanna's No Athletes rule or has the bell rung on their relationship before it even starts.

Lucky Kiss is book 12 in the Hope Falls Series, though I think it can be a stand-alone.

Lucas 'Lucky' Dorsey is on top of the MMA fighting world. Though he seems to be a 'little' off and can't grasp what is wrong. Along comes Deanna Bishop, a rookie in the Hope Falls Fire Department. She doesn't want a relationship. She is trying to fit into a 'man's world' and doesn't want anything to hamper that. The chemistry between the two of them is 'WOW'.

How they first meet is absolutely hilarious. I love how all the characters in the book intertwine and we also get to catch up with characters from previous books in the Hope Falls Series.

I love the humor, the chemistry in this book!

Lucky Kiss is a fantastic addition to the Hope Falls series.

Lucky had me cracking up throughout the story. He was an awesome hero, who is trying to figure things out, but it doesn't affect his sense of humor at all.
Deanna is an awesome heroine, who is trying to prove herself in a mostly male career. She has a bit of a guarded outlook, and prefers to blend in to the crowd rather than stand out.

The story drew me in from the beginning, when what turns out as a misunderstanding brings these two together. I loved catching up with characters from previous books in the series, and can't wait to see what the girls have in store for us in the next Hope Falls book!

I definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a great contemporary romance read.

This book is a solid 4.5 rating for me - and always a guaranteed buy whenever a new one is released. This is a high-quality, consistently good romance series that should not be missed by fans of contemporary romance. The authors' style of writing is smart and witty and I laughed out loud on several occasions - love isn't always serious! I loved Deanna and Lucky and was invested in their HEA. I also always enjoy the sense of belonging in the small community of Hope Falls that threads throughout each story. And what a great ending - definitely sigh worthy and so romantic! But, OMG, there won't be another Hope Falls story until spring of 2017?! Please tell me that's a typo!

Lucky Kiss is another great read by Melanie Shawn. I loved this book. It tells the story of Lucky (Lucas) and Deanna. Both fighters in different ways him a champion mma fighter, her a firefighter. She's the daughter of a model and a famous baseball player and has seen a lot of what having an athlete as a husband did to her mom growing up and wants no part of getting involved with an athlete. Lucky falls hard and fast for Deanna, shocking everyone including himself. Can he convince Deanna that she's not going to follow the path her mother and father did and make her realize that what they have is something worth fighting for. Buy it today and find out for yourself.

Another Amazing Hope Falls Book! Finally we got to read Lucky's story. I've been waiting for his book for a while and I was not disappointed! Lucky, an MMA fighter falls fast and hard for Deanna, Hope Falls first female firefighter. Deanna, born to a supermodel mother and professional baseball father, vows to never date an athlete. She meets Lucky and is instantly attracted...then she finds out what he does for a living. She tries to hold strong to her vow but Lucky is hard to resist.

Grab your kindle, a comfy corner of your couch and enjoy Deanna and Lucky finding love in Hope Falls!

Great book - some real laugh out loud moments - there was a nod to the crossroads series in there as well - another series I couldn't get enough of.

Lucky and deanna are great characters and it is always nice to revisit and find out about the other character from previous books.
Can't wait until Eli and mackenzie's story but it says not until 2017 - what am I going to do as this book sets that one up very nicely.

Long awaited story about Lucky! Melanie Shawn does not disappoint! What do you get when you cross a woman fire fighter and a MMA fighter? An awesome love story, that's what! I was really looking forward to reading Lucky's story, and I definitely loved how it played out. Ms. Shawn's characters are always well-written and I always feel like they could be my friends. Another winner, Melanie Shawn! Keep writing in Hope Falls.

I can't say enough how much I loved Lucky and Deanna. It was a nice change to see the guy head over heels and seeking the girl. I loved that Deanna was a strong, independent woman and that Lucky was just as great. I love this series. I love Hope Falls. This sister duo knows how to write a great story.
