This was a really fun read! The stories were from different cultures and many I hadn't heard of before. I wish the cover wasn't so pink and princess like, because it's a great read for everyone, even boys or girls who don't like "girly" things. The thing they have in common is that there is a prince and/or princess in each story, but not the Disney type. This is a book I am excited to share with my kids!

My 5-year-old enjoyed the stories from this book. There were a few familiar ones (like Sleeping Beauty and Cinderella), but most of them I had never heard of before. Most were European in origin, but a few came from other places in the world.

Polling 5 and I just finished reading Usborne's Illustrated Stories of Princes and Princesses, which I was unable to find on GR by searching title, editor, or ISBN number. I'm using this record until I can get to the bottom of the mystery. At any rate, she enjoyed the illustrated tales a great deal, and I enjoyed the unfamiliar Asian and Eastern European tales the best.
