A native of Southern California, Christine Pope has been writing stories ever since she commandeered her family’s Smith-Corona typewriter back in the sixth grade. Many reams of dead trees later, she’s happy to announce that her debut novel, Fringe Benefits, was published by Pink Petal Books on April 8, 2010. Her short fiction has appeared in Astonishing Adventures, Luna Station Quarterly, and the new journal of dark fiction, Dark Valentine. Her paranormal novella, Playing With Fire, was released on August 5, 2010.

While Fringe Benefits is a straight contemporary romance, she writes in a variety of genres, including paranormal romance, fantasy, horror, science fiction, and historical romance. She blames this on being easily distracted by bright, shiny objects, which could also account for the size of her shoe collection.

After spending many years in the magazine publishing industry, she now works as a freelance editor in addition to writing fiction. She lives with her husband and an explosively fluffy Pomeranian mix. Her house is pink, but don’t hold that against her.

I didn’t know that this novella was in the middle of a series 😅 So I was quite confused throughout the whole thing.

This is one of the better-written novels in the Witches of Cleopatra Hill series. I enjoyed it and wished I could hold one of their twins.

Disappointed

Very disappointed. No excitement in this story at all. Took no time to read. Nothing like the rest of the books, which I LOVED.

Glad to know more about the continuation of Angela and Connor's story, but this was disappointingly short and free of plot.

A Cleopatra Hill Christmas (Book 7 of the series)

What a lovely Christmas story. Angela and Connor have been in Flagstaff, since their twins were born, so now it was time to spend Christmas in Jerome, where the McAllister families waited to meet the new babies and their Prima.
The babies, Ian and Emily, like all babies need constant attention day and night. Any parents know what sleepless nights are like, as well as feedings, diaper changing and all around baby care. Exhaustion for both Angela and Connor was a daily occurrence.
But getting together with family for the holidays was a must! Great food, wonderful company and "ooh's and "ahh's over the twins, made this family get together one to cherish.

This would be a cute story when you are reading the series but as part of the christmas collection I am reading not so much. Which leads me to leave the rest of the collection alone as the rest of the stories are also part of another serie Christine has written.

Loved he story line but just too much steamy stuff in the books. I would still recommend it just skipping those offensive parts.

a nice quick novella about the new babies and their 1st christmas/yule together back in Jerome with angela's family. I was hoping there would've been a book that included a drama-filled witchy story that occurred and brought about the twins' birth, but this novella with them as newborns is all there is.

Connor and Angela Wilcox are the new parents of twins. They got married in HIS home town so to keep the peace they are having Christmas in HER home town. Oh the politics involved in a magical union! Jerome, Arizona is home to an extended magical clan with a...patchy history with the Wilcox Clan.

Will the magical mayhem keep at bay whilst Lucas Wilcox's and Margot Emory get married? Will the new parents ever get some ADULT alone time?

Fabulous holiday read!!! Great catch up the magical mayhem which continues with each book in this series! Go grab your copy now!

Christine Pope has written a Christmas in-between story that brings back characters from previous stories. I really liked the book, just wish it was a tad bit longer. Connor and Angela are new parents, visiting her hometown for the holidays and a wedding! I can't wait for the next book to come out!
I received an advanced copy in exchange for an honest review.
