**This is Book One in the series. STANDALONE. Graphic language and sex.***

Him. He walked in and turned my perfect life upside down. He’s made it clear he wants me, but I fight him off. I have to. He’s the worst possible romantic option for me. My mind knows I need to stay away, but my body didn’t get the message. Every time he’s close, I feel myself giving in just a little bit more. But every move Antonio makes is tracked by the insatiable media. Between them and his jealous costar, it’s too much to risk. At any moment, I could be exposed.

My only choice would be to run. Again.

Her. Those eyes. That body. Her lips. I thought I would spend six weeks in this small town, film my movie, and get out. I didn’t anticipate the impact she would have. Her eyes beg me to hold her, but her words fight me with every breath. I don’t know what caused those walls around her heart, but I intend to knock them down. I won’t be satisfied until I do. What Giovanna needs to know is I get any woman I want.

And I want her.

About the author

Jennifer Domenico

28 books378 followers
Jennifer Domenico writes contemporary and erotic romances. She loves alpha males with a soft spot, flawed characters, and strong, sassy women. Her characters usually have a side of kink and aren't afraid to demand what they want. The author doesn't apologize for that. She's a sucker for a happy ending as long as it comes with a lot of heat.

She lives in Phoenix, Arizona but is a Bostonian at heart. The way to her heart can be reached with a foreign accent, a shot of Fireball, and an unlimited supply of cupcakes.

She is also known under her alter ego, Jaelyn LaStoria, author of time traveling romances, because why not. The first title is Lost Within.

I really enjoyed the book, though Antonio was too perfect at times.

Giovanna got on my nerves just a tad, but overall it was really good. It has the right amount of drama, fun and love scenes.

I'll totes keep my eyes open on book 2 :)

Fun, romantic contemporary romp.
I loved Antonia and Giovanna building relationship.
Antonio filming on location with a gorgeous actress, totally Diva... (with whom he had history) and Giovanna living her (previously quiet and private) small-town book store owner felt very real. The author did a amazing job between the characters, the chemistry was so hot. I really like how Giovanna Di Palermo character was not infatuated with his movie star persona (she hadn't even seen any of his movies) and how Antonio Russo was such a down to earth, normal guy dealing with uber-mega fame. Both their characters were instantly likable... Antonio is totally adorable! He definitely made the book boyfriend list :)

I loved that their relationship progressed at a believable pace... they had instant attraction, they flirted, got to know each other, their relationship developed ... it was really fun to read.

"Your laugh. It's the happiest sound I've ever heard. You're so serious and responsible and sarcastic, but then you laugh and you transform. Your eyes light up, your whole body joins in. It's really very stunning to watch. I want to see it all the time. I want to be the cause."

I went into this blind not know what this story was about. I was really surprised with how everything happens.
We meet Giovanna who owns a bookstore in a small town where everyone knows everyone. She likes her life quite and without people getting really close to her. Her life was going as planned until there small town was chosen for a movie to be filmed there. We meet Antonio who is sexy and all the girls want him. He's got his eye on Giovanna and is going to have to crack her the wall she built to get to know her. The journey these two embark to get what they want is full of twists and turns. Jennifer Domenico has done it again.

The flow was a little artificial, but I enjoyed the story.

Daughter of Hollywood parents who died infamously, Giovanna wants nothing to do with the movie that is being filmed in her small hometown.

When she learns majority of the movie is going to be shot in her bookstore, it puts her up close and personal with leading actor Antonio, who won’t give up on winning her over.

What began as a conquest turns into more as Antonio becomes determined to convince Giovanna they have a chance together, but his fame and co-star threatens any progress he makes.

When her parentage is leaked, Giovanna runs, but Antonio isn’t giving up on their love story.

Although I felt the flow of dialogue was a bit choppy at moments, I found myself really enjoyed the book.

I so wanted to love this.

I will give it props for the writing, the cover, and the dual POV. Unfortunately the bad case of characters became too much. Giovanna's sad past took way too long to be revealed making her attitude through the book take away from the big reveal, which really was weak. When the big reveal happened I found myself really not caring. I think this could have been a really good read, but the characters killed it for me. If I can't invest in them, then I can invest in their love story.

Sweet and swoony!

Great story with an amazing twist. Hollywood in a small town with some great characters you can't help love and a couple of them you love to hate. Jennifer Domenico did a great job of making me totally swoon with Antonio. I just loved how strong Giovanna's character was.

With a new movie filming in a small town, everyone is excited for the attention except Giovanna. She loves her small town life where she can keep to herself without anyone getting in her business. Then comes in Antonio with all his movie crew, not to mention a diva co-star who wants him all for herself, turning her bookstore in the spotlight. But when the chemistry is that strong between two people, it's hard to stay in the background.

Exposed is a complete standalone told in dual POV. Loved reading this book and look forward to more of Jennifer's work.

What happens when Hollywood crashes into the small town that you moved to, to hide from the world? When Antonio lays his eyes on Giovanna, he knows he needs to have her. He's taken by the fact she knows nothing about him or the movies he's been in. But Giovanna is scared, she started this bookstore to get away from the world, she doesn't want to be in the limelight, and for good reason. But Antonio's co-star, Yasmin, who is a controlling diva, is sensing the attraction that Antonio has for Giovanna, and she wants none of it. Because things always go her way.
Exposed moves Giovanna and Antonio's relationship along pretty quickly, the heat between them is intense. The characters are well developed, her employees are amusing, caring, and make for great supporting characters. Yasmin is a total diva and she makes you want to reach into the book and ring her neck. (more than once, I might add.) It's a great read with a good variety of situations and the right amount of heat.

This is a book that sticks with me. I remember it long after I have read it. I have read this book a few times, but haven’t taken the time to write a review until now. Gio owns a little shop that ends up being a main attraction when it is taken over for a movie to be filmed. Gio becomes the main attraction to the hot actor who is starring in this movie. The attraction between Antonio and Giovanna is immediate. I loved the book. I loved the characters and everything about the book. I will read other books from this author! Loved it!!

NOT A REVIEW: just note to myself. Besides the low rate (IMO 3.8 is low) I really dislike when the blurb says WALLS AROUND THE HEART , this is one of the most ridiculous things ever. And reviews said the h was annoying and the big review and the reasons she kept man away specially actors had somethings to do Anywho, not for me.

What can I say... Jennifer Domenico has done it again! I enjoyed reading Giovanna and Antonio's story. The characters are genuine and had great chemistry. I was quickly engrossed in their romance. A woman who has had to learn to learn to take care of herself and a man who teaches her that she doesn't need to be. This book will not disappoint!!
