I received this for an honest review. V. Vaughn done and amazing job with this series and the narrator was awesome. This is not a standalone so please read previous books before reading this one.
As I have said before Keith holds a special place in my heart. He has been to hell in back so to speak. My heart just breaks at the heartache he has been thru. Tori is his true mate. There is no doubt that Patricia is after her. Keeping her safe is Keith’s main goal. I really do not know how Keith would take the lost of Tori. There is only so much one can take. Right?
Annie has her hands full. Though she enjoy’s being a mother to Tristian’s triplets. She has her hands full with her mother-in-law. As you know by the previous book Helga is bipolar. They try to keep watch on her all the time but it is hard sometimes. What happens when she gets out of their sight for a second. Yip Helga is being more then a handful.
Tori finds out in this truth about Keith and her best friend Lucy being a werebear. That has to be hard to break the news that one is not human and letting that person know that they are part werebear as well. Tori also finds out who her father is. Sorry have to listen or read the book to find out. OMG, mouth will drop.
I so love that Lucy has found her true mate. Sven and her are so cute together. Lucy’s heart breaks for her brother. She wants the same happiness for him. I think Luke might have a chance but I still wonder if Isabelle has any good in her heart.

I like these quick to read installments of the story. They feature multiple characters dealing with love in their own unique styles. The slow build of the tension continues in part five. We see Tori and Keith becoming closer and finally sharing some truths and a big change for her and their relationship. Annie is still trying to build homes for the relocated members and is getting a lot of help but some of those helpers have other ideas in mind for the future. She also has more MIL issues. I am eager to see what happens to Tori next due to her new knowledge of her past and the choices she is making about the future.

Tempted by the Bear - Part 5: BBW Werebear Shifter Romance V. Vaughn

The hero of the day in this short read is Keith for finally telling Tori about the danger she faces and turning her.
The fifth instalment of 'Tempted by the Bear' by V. Vaughn is another pretty short read and I was given a copy by the author in exchange for an honest review. This serial is well written in the first person, with alternating points of view. I don't usually read serials (or watch them either), first person narrative or cliff-hangers, but I do like V Vaughn's stand alone paranormal romance books so I'm giving it a go. This is a serial, not a series, and each part needs to be read in order.
It's hard not to give spoilers here but I'm trying. Tristan still hasn't come clean with Annie about anything and he and Isabelle still seem to be intent on destroying everyone with their plan to create an empire they'll rule together. The longer the deceit goes on, the less chance there is of being able to salvage any kind of a relationship. Isabelle and Luke aren't getting along as well as before, especially after she finds out that Luke is telling all his friends the intimate details of their sex life. Tori passes on that she overheard some of the construction guys saying that Luke had told them he and Isabelle aren't true mates. Lucy and Sven are getting along well and Isabelle thinks that will make Lucy easy to deal with when she and Tristan try to take over all the clans. Annie has taken steps to protect the children from the increasingly unstable Helga and employed another bodyguard to keep tabs on her but she steals Annie's car and purse at the same time that Patricia makes a move on Tori. When Keith finds out, he and Carly tell Tori about her family and she decides becoming a bear to protect herself is the only way forward. She definitely doesn't want to be a murderer like her father or grandmother.
I hope Tristan comes clean with Annie soon. His actions are unforgivable at best and I'm really glad that the land they're living on is in Annie's name, and hope she cancels the wedding so she remains in her family clan. I think she's going to really need them. Helga can't help what she does because her medical condition can't be controlled, but Tristan can and I've decided he's just a nasty, evil character who needs to be dealt with as soon as possible and in the most brutal way. Luke needs a kick in the .... He and Isabelle deserve each other. I keep waiting for all the underhanded motives and hidden agendas to come out and sincerely hope that Annie survives the destruction of her dreams, or at the very least, cancels the wedding.
Part 5 being the half-way point, it's time for the truth to come out. I can't wait for the next part, which I hope will at least let all the dirt out to air. It's past time everyone knew what kind of evil vipers they have in their midst.

Tempted by the Bear-Part 5-A captivating story filled with intrigue and spine-tingling romance. I adore series, you get acquainted with all the awesome characters, and the characters in this series are powerful, sultry, exhilarating and full of unforeseen surprises.
What you'll find in this story; a cast of fantastic impressive and engaging characters, family issues, superb banter, fabulous story-line, picturesque and powerful scene descriptions, camaraderie, pent-up rage, gripping suspense, emotions spiral, earth shattering heart-throbbing pulsating romance, and a conclusion that leaves you craving the answers you desire.
Helga disappears off the property, Tori finds out about her werebear heritage and becomes frightened; Keith tries to reassure Tori that he will keep her safe, and Isabelle's rage has her reeling in pain.
WOW! Incredible well written fast paced read by a genuinely gifted author. I absolutely relish this series, a mini soap opera in a book that keeps getting better with each segment; a most gratifying read. The interaction between the characters is convincing and certainly praise-worthy. I eagerly await the next book in this fantastic series. I received this as a gift for an honest review
It has now become apparent that Tori in in a lot of danger from Patricia Veilleux and Keith has to do something to protect her. She is fully aware now of his bear status and her own as far as having shifter blood. But the real danger is who her father is and they know Patricia will stop at nothing to get to Tori. The only real way to protect her is to turn her and she is not sure she is ready for that. Lucy also finds out that Isabelle and her brother, Luke, are not true mates. Now the wheels are turning in the mind…she needs to figure out what to do there. Helga takes off with Annie’s purse and car, precipitating what could be a dangerous situation. They need to find her and somehow rein her in. Meanwhile, Annie has decided that Helga needs to be away from the kids for their own safety…again the question is how. Her and Tristan bring in a nanny/guard to keep the girls safe. When we reach the end of this story, Tori and Keith have made a monumental decision, but is it enough or will they be too late ?

"Bears are not always cuddly"
This is an awesome series!. The story line is compelling!. The characters are amazing!.
This story first started with the call by the Bear spell that sent out a mystical call to ones with the werebear heritage. The L Roux clan was slowly dying out as do to a curse the She-bears were barren. As the clans kingdom grows there were contacted by a Polar Bear clan that needs help. Tristan is the Alpha of the polar bear clan De Rozier. Tristan turned out to be Annie Le Roux's fated mate. So the Le Roux's set Tristan and his clan up with land and a distillery to make Vodka. The Le Roux's do not know that Tristan and his clan plan to take over the Bears kingdom. Also in this book Keith of the Le Roux clan has decided to stop fighting the mating call for his fated mate Tori. Tori finds out she is of the Evil Veilleux clan heritage, and Patricia Veilleux is after her. Wow each one of these books are filled with lots of suspense,action, humor and steamy Romance!. You will love this book and series!

V. Vaughn CAN REALLY KEEP YOU INTERRESTED IN THIS STORY
Tori finds out more about herself and why she felt the call to Keith, now that he has decided that he does love her and they are true mates.She will have some decisions to make like does she want to make the change, does she really want to be with him forever? Keith worries about losing Tori now that he recognized their true mate bond, and her grandmother( that she never knew existed ) is trying to get her away from him, Annie has seen the condition of Tristan daughters and the few guys of his clan ,she got everyone together to get the housing built so all of the ones left could come sooner. Isabelle and Luke still have their plans. Tristan's mother Helga is getting worse as her cycle ends, and where is she anyway? So many stories going on and I can't wait for more.

OMG!!! This story is getting better and better. I knew Tori had something to do with the Victor and his clan but he wasn't as bad as most thought he was his mother is/was the evil mastermind. I'm so glad Keith has finally gave in to his attraction to Tori. Lucy is starting to become my favorite character, she is so loving and giving especially with how she loves Tori and how she is starting to love her sister and also Annie. I just hope she doesn't get hurt when the secrets of her mates clan comes to light. Tristan loves Annie but I don't think he realizes that she is not going to let him just try and take over her brothers clan even though she is his true mate and he is her alpha. While I do feel sorry for Isabella on how her mate is treating her I don't like how she is using not only Annie but the rest of the clan when all they have done is try to help and include her.

In part 5 Tori and Keith come together instead of him fighting their connection. But love, even with true mates, is not smooth sailing. Protecting her is stress on them all Lucy can't give her all with her own love life keeping her attention. Tristan fears his family will cause more problems--will they? Each family grows closer, yet the plots and enemies have their own successes. Who will win?
More intrigue, but under it all is love and more and more mates find their other half. Ms Vaughan keeps the story going with each character getting a little more involved. How will it all turn out? Will old or new enemies succeed. Or will they join forces? Will the mate bond interfere with the plots and plotters. It just gets more involved and more involved.

I love this series. Omg okay so we check in with annie and Tristan who are in the middle of building a house so the rest of Tristan's clan can come down, Tori and Keith take the next step, Tristan's mom Goins missing and Tori gets poised. Crazy train lol. This series is sooooooooooooo flipping good. It has everything you need or want in a series. I love love love it. It truly good. You think you know what will happen next. .... Thank BAM something changes and twist and turns, it's awesome. I can't wait for the next part.

Normal werebears, crazy werebears and psycho werebears!
Tori has finally got Keith to accept the fact that they are true mates and belong together. But now with dreams and having protection to the max will he be able to protect her from the family she never knew about?
Keith doesn't want to bite her and force her to be a bear. But he loves her and wants to protect her as much as he can. She is his future, whether she takes the bite or not.
Annie is being driven crazy. Her mother in law went off the deep end. Will they be able to find her in time? Her other friend has found her true mate and getting it whenever she can. And she is still dealing with the fact that another girl is pretending to have found her true mate. When they are just forcing the bond.

Wow! This series just keeps getting better and better with mysteries resolved in each addition. Lucy and Sven are happily mated and living the dream, but her best friend is in grave danger. Tori is finally exposed to the truth about Keith and werebears, and must make the hardest decision of her life. Annie and Tristan are hard at work building homes for the De Rozier clan, but a runaway mother may get in the way. Isabelle is discovering that being with Luke is harder than she thought, as he is not her true mate. What will happen to these families and will good overcome evil? I was given a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

I'm on the edge of my seat waiting for the next installment, I love this series! So much is happening - Someone finds out about their heritage and what means; they also find out the lengths people are going to in an attempt to protect them. Someone who needs watching has suddenly disappered, the search is on to try to find them.
This is a fast-paced story that will quickly grab your attention and keep you reading. I do recommend reading this from the beginning, it would be easier to follow along and know what's going on. I'm eagerly awaiting the next installment!

I don't want it to end!!. I have to know what happens next!!. Yes I'm whining.... When the book ended I literally swore a blue streak. Tori and Keith finally get it together but is it in time to protect her from her evil grandmother Patricia Veilleux? Patricia is her grandmother and she is already trying to influence Tori. Annie and Tristan are dealing with trying to find his mother who has taken off and Isabelle is having second thoughts about Luke. Or is she??? I can't wait for the next installment.

Violet sure knows how to write a series and keep your attention from book to book. With funny banter, great sex, family issues, suspense and conclusion that leaves you wanting more.

Book 5 of the Tempted by the Bear series gives us some insight into Tori's heritage and that knowledge helps her make the decision to be with Keith forever sooner. Annie has a lot going on with building homes for the new clan members who are on their way, but Helga's sudden disappearance has everyone on edge. Lucy and Sven's relationship progresses nicely while Isabelle and Luke deal with theirs. So much happening, can't wait to see what the next instalments have in store for the De Rozier clan.

Tristan and Annie are coming together and I hope for her sake he changes his mind about the plan he had. Izzy and Luke still something odd going on there. Luke is seriously up to something and I don't think he is on the same wave length as Izzy. Keith and Tori are together and he is finding it hard to protect her. Lucy and Sven are in their own world. Now to wait for the next installment. Seems like forever. Now that things are really heating up.

i think we're getting close to the finale as more and more pieces are falling into place. people are "waking" up and realizing a lot more is happening then meets the eye. others are being oscar-grade actors at how they're being able to keep deceiving those close to them.
you can't miss this part in the series. it's getting addictive wanting to know what is going to happen.

I was given an ARC of 'Tempted by the Bear- part 5' from V. Vaughn, in exchange for an honest review.
I felt like so much happened in this part of the series, mates decided to bond forever, a Grandmother goes for un unexpected trip, & still more. I feel like I will soon learn the real reason for Tristan & his pack for moving.... I was glued, entranced from start to finish & now can't wait to read the next installment.

I absolutely loved the test of the series, books 1 -4, so I was very excited when I got the email that book 5 came out. It was okay but VERY vague. It felt like it was just a little teaser, a good one but still just a little teaser. I do get that they are novellas but this one was so short she should have waited in my opinion to add it to book 6 since it was just so short. Otherwise, what was there was great.

Tori is having dreams of Patricia an evil woman. Lucy and Seth are getting along really well, but she is worried for Tori. Anne and Triston still have secrets, Tristans mother Helga has disappeared. Will everything turn out alright for everyone can only wait to find out in the next part.

WOW! Things are beyond intense, Tori and Keith get ready for the next step as Luke and Isabelle seem to be falling apart. Helga is AWOL, and Patricia Veilleux has started covert attacks on Tori. And of course it ends at a really steep cliff, so if you’re one with no patience, you may want to wait till part 6 is out before reading this one. Incredible characters and riveting plots, on pins and needles for the next installment!

I got this in exchange of an honest review, this is such a wonderful series to read wonderful captivating charming characters in this one I felt it was faster than the other ones and everything else is perfect I recommend this author work to everyone and cant wait for the next book so worth the time you spend reading and living inside these characters that are so alive so real so much emotions you feel between each one and inside them as well

So good you can't put the book down
Things are heating up Tori and Keith. The Veilleux clan is out to get Tori she will not let them hurt her or Keith again. Lucy and Annie are doing everything they can to get the De Rozier clan here and safe. But have they bitten off more than they can't handle. This series is getting more exciting with each installment.

Another great book in this series. This book is full of surprises, lies, true mate bonds, fake bonds and some really hot sex. Even though this book can be read alone, it is best read in the order of the series. A must read
