Marie D. is the pen name of Xiomara Rivera Díaz (Puerto Rico, 1986). She is the author of the series The War of the Seven Planets that tells the story of seven intergalactic warriors and the adventures they live to save humanity. Xiomara worked seven years as a police officer in Puerto Rico and now lives in Indiana with her husband, her son and a dog named Logan. She published her first book in 2007 when writing was just a hobby for her. She now writes full time and is currently writing the sixth book of The War for The Seven Planets.
