Good story
Paige is in Ireland visiting her brother and attending a vet conference, when she comes across a gorgeous man taking pictures. She goes to a little coffee shop and he's there snapping pictures of her. He offers her a tour around the little town and wind up in bed together. She gets a call that her brother had been shot and she rushes off to the hospital. Thinking she'd never see him again.
Conor splits his time between Ireland and Seattle. He is a photographer and from a wealthy family but he has worked hard and earned his own way. His family own a whiskey distillery but it's just a front for their slightly illegal activities. He hasn't been able to get Paige off his mind so after a month and a half in Seattle he heads back to Ireland and tries to find Paige's brother. He is surprised when he finds him and gets punched in the jaw.
Paige has been hunting Conor for almost two months and when they finally find each other, they are both ecstatic. But trouble comes to his family and his father is in a car wreck. They have some very bad enemies and he doesn't want Paige involved.
Will the danger ever pass so they can be together or are they doomed before they really get started?
Plenty of sex. Surprises. Secrets. This is a love at first site story and if you believe in that you'll love this. It leaves you with a little bitty cliffhanger to make you read the next one. Still enjoyed the book.

Umm, I'm not sure.
All the potential in the world, the developing storyline was interesting and had the makes of a wonderful novel; however, I never could become engaged with my attention fully invested. I will definitely have to give this story another try later on.

Whenever you pick up a Cali Mackay book you know it’s bound to be good and Temptation was no different. Full of not only a steamy romance but action packed too, this book will have you eager to keep on reading to find out more from the start.
The two main characters, Paige and Conor, have an undeniable attraction that simmers from the start and you just know that these two together will be an exciting and hot read. Personally, I liked how the author developed the relationship between Paige and Conor, with undertones of more to come, before introducing the action. I found it allowed the plot to play out strongly and that there was a good basis rather than had the relationship not have been there before the action was introduced. The dual points of views also helped to tell the story of Conor and Paige and to give a better understanding of both characters and it was interesting to see the warring emotions of both characters, despite them trying to figure out a way to get their HEA.
While story moves at a relatively fast pace at first, it changes to a more steady pace for the rest of the book and works well and has a solid plot with a good balance of romance and action later on to keep you turning each page. It was nice to see other characters pop up from previous books, even though I have personally only read one other book from this series (Passion), and a handful of other books by Cali Mackay where characters crossed over such as Emma (from Seduction and Surrender), so be assured and do not worry if you have not read any other books from this series as they do not have a major impact on this story (but obviously adds that bit extra if you know of the characters already).
Temptation sets up nicely the next series (based on the Blackthorn Brothers) while tying up Paige and Conor’s story for a HEA if you just want to read this book as a standalone. However, while in relation to Paige and Conor’s story things are tied up, not all storylines will be fully finished (hence allowing for the new series).
If you are looking for a well written romance with a bit of action thrown in as well, I would definitely suggest you give this book a try!

The final installment in the Seduction series. It also ties in the Temptation and the Blackthorn series. Heartfelt and dramatic. Passionate and with angst filled twists and turns. I adored these characters.

Paige is in Ireland for a conference and to visit her brother Wyatt. When Paige is finished with the conference she decides that she wants to see more of this beautiful community before she heads back to Wyatt’s in Dublin. While finding her way to a café she spots a photographer, turns out he spotted her too. He followed her into the café and after a short exchange, he agreed to play tour guide for the day.
They found an instant comfortable compatibility as well as a deep attraction with each other. That night ended in Conor’s bedroom. Just as the two are finding the depths of their affections, the unspeakable happens and Paige rushes out of Conor’s place and heads for Dublin. When she rushed out, she didn’t think to get his phone number or ever his last name but she can’t forget him. Turns out Conor can’t forget her either, lucky for him, she left him with a few more clues as to how to find her. Conor shows up at Wyatt’s club to a very unfriendly welcome. In the time that they have been apart, Paige had discovered she’s pregnant.
Conor doesn’t desert her as she expects and in fact if willing to go back to the states with her while they figure out their future. Then as Paige and Conor are starting to find their balance, Conor’s family shows up. Conor had been very private about his family other than to say it was complicated and that he didn’t want Paige to get caught in the cross-hairs. Never did he image that the life he had intentionally left behind over a decade ago would now come to threaten his future.

Cali I can't tell you how much I loved this story. Paige Foley was on a trip to Ireland and she spent some time sightseeing. She met this very handsome and mysterious man named, Conor Blackthorn. She spent one evening with him and ask him to take her to his home. They spent a great night together and then she got a call her brother had been shot. He lived not far from where she was and she went to him. A month later she was still thinking of Conor and wondering why she couldn't find him. She had no number or last name. She tried to find his home but couldn't remember. She went back to her brothers. Conor was in Seattle dealing with family issues and when he got back he tried to find Paige, He remember the club her brother owned and he went there looking for her. He found her and she flew to him. Prefect relationship? Not so much. Read this story . It does contain profanity and sex so it isn't for all. I can't wait for the next book. Congratulations Cali

This is the first book I've read by this author. I found the story very similar to JS Scott's Billionaire books which I love, so I certainly loved this one:) I will be going back to read about the other billionaires. The writing brought all sorts of emotions to the table. And Paige and Conor's love was enough in the face of danger. I loved the hint of the other characters that are in the other books and I can't wait to read their stories as well.

Temptation was full of love and hate. When Paige and Conor met it was instant attraction and love, even if it was just one night. When Paige has to leave due to a family emergency she had no idea what an impact their one night had. By the time things were back to normal and she went to look for Conor he was no where to be found. She was broken hearted but still had hope. When Paige left Conor couldn't stop thinking about her. When his own family emergency was taken care of he went and found her. They finally had it all until Conor got a call that changed the course of their life. The life that Conor left behind was one of violence, hatred, blackmail and unsavory characters. Nothing he ever wanted Paige exposed to. But stubborn Paige insisted that she go to support him, which almost cost them everything.

It starts out just like all the other great reads in this series, but as you go along you get caught up in the all of the things that make you have to put the book down and just breathe. The H/h are fantastic and I was in love with Paige from the get go. She is self-reliant and ballsy. Conor on the other hand is somewhat broody and angst filled. This book has all the great element of a superb Romance with some suspense and intrigue, tragedy and ecstasy, as well as smoking hot love scenes and snarkyness that you will be snickering at the entire time. Thank you for an awesome read, and OH BOY I cannot wait for the stories of Conor’s brothers in your NEW series coming in July. Holy WOW!!!

Paige and Conor was a good story that I enjoyed very much. Paige tries to get away and visit the Ireland country side when she meets Conor. They share a wonderful experience for one night that they both can't forget. Paige has to leave and tend to her brother. Conor go to the States because of family business. They both search for each other and when they find find each other. It isn't exactly smooth sailing. They both have a secret and Conor could destroy everything. This wasn't just another love story. The suspense was good. This was a great book and I was able to follow along even though I didn't read any of the previous stories. I will though be catching up.

I loved Temptation , the story of Paige Foley and the smoking hot photographer Conor Blackthorn very much .
Their chemestry is very palpable from the beginning and what started as a fling ends up very quickly as a very unique love story ,that is well developed and packed with lots of steamy sex , emotions, tenderness, drama and even danger .
Tempation is well written and well worth the read !! It also has whet my appetite to know about what will happen in the next story to Ash ( Conor's brother ) who's also has his little secrets .

In true Cali Mackay style, you instantly fall in love with the main characters along with getting to know previous characters more. You feel Paige emotions as you read the story, along with Logan frustrations. The complications of a surprise pregnancy, over protective brothers and Logan secrecy leads you on a story which tugs at all your emotions. It was a wonderful way to end an amazing series

This story makes an exciting read. The emotions are well written and Cali builds the tension gradually. My only grouse would be that the story is a bit contrived, I couldn't imagine the situation actually happening. That is not necessarily a bad thing, a little fantasy doesn't come amiss! It is worth reading

I was blown away by this story. The struggles between clans is amazing. Paige meet Connor a photographer with secret he has tried to forget. The sacrifice they both had to make to be together with their little on the way. Excellent story. This is the fourth book of the series, and can be standalone but if your like me, know I have to read the first 3 books to know all the background information and understand how why it all began. I was given this story for a honest review.

I enjoyed this book the story line was fast and not boring and I enjoyed the authors writing style I do wish I had started with the first book in the series but I will go back and read the first ones as I like to know where the characters start from. I will definatly will be reading more by this author I enjoyed her writing style and her turn on a tale.

I love Cali MacKay's writing but I hate cliffhangers. Ugh Paige and Conor have their happy ever now but the story will continue on with Conor's brother. Temptation had great sexy time and funny moments but I found parts of it repetitive. I would definitely still recommend reading it.

An amazing book of finding love and getting through many obstacles to live a life of love and happiness even if it means separating yourself from your family.
