Hells Redemption had been lucky to have the success they’ve had thus far.
They owed a large part to one of the greatest managers in music, Doc Madison. His assistant, the beautiful yet ruthlessly mean and efficient Angela Ramirez is his right hand. He’s grooming her to take his place, and this means allowing no distractions that could stop her from running a management empire.
A strict, uncompromising rule had been issued with regards to all things romantic for his assistant and any client he represents. She is off limits. Doc won’t allow unnecessary risks, let alone losing her, because one of his clients can’t keep it in his pants. Musicians live the lifestyle of sex, drugs, and rock-and-roll and make no apologies for it. The last thing he wants to see is her suffering from a broken heart because one of them used her just to add a notch to a bedpost. In fact, he’d made the penalty for disobeying this mandate so severe everyone adhered to it… until now.
Magnetic charm, fascination, allurement, enticement, and the subtle attraction to each other have always been the case between Drake Mitchell and Angela Ramirez. However, with finally indulging in their desires, they are putting the future of the world’s greatest Heavy-Metal band at risk.
Attraction is a dangerous thing, as it inevitably leads to temptation. When the two collide, all one can do is succumb to the pleasure and magnetic forces that acts between oppositely charged bodies, tending to draw them together.
This is a brief glimpse into the life of a music superstar with a panty-combusting smile, and a gorgeous Latin beauty who holds her own and makes no apologies for anything. This is the story of their ...
Attraction
For fans of J.S. Snow’s Metal Prodigy Series, Attraction fills in the blanks of the hot and steamy night between Drake Mitchell and Angela Ramirez which was omitted from Resurrection, book two in the series.(Feel free to refer back to chapters four through six if you need to.) In addition, J.S. also gives her readers a glimpse into the surprising sultry night of Simone Farnsworth and Keith Taggert, which was briefly touched on in the novella, Trepidation.
With so much hot sex, hard bodies, and promises of more to come, it’s recommended you keep a glass of ice water nearby. Okay, make that an ice bucket.
29,925 Words New Adult/Adult Contemporary Romance – Recommended for those 18 years of age and older due to graphic language and strong sexual situations.
J.S. Snow began her literary obsession at the tender age of eleven with the first voluntarily read book Are you There God? It’s Me Margaret by Judy Blume. Only a few years later her fascination with fictional offerings really took root as she stepped into the mind of one of her hero’s Stephen King through his work Christine.
Now that her fascination with fictional literature has firmly taken root, she is now seriously considering a twelve step program for her e-reader addiction, feeds her fascination with fiction with new literary offerings via her coveted e-reader, has a passion for dark chocolate, sweet tea and Heavy Metal music. She is the proud mother of a downright spectacular daughter (who was head banging in the belly) and lives with the belief that the mind where the imagination lives is a far more entertaining place than TV or movies ever will be.
J.S. Snow currently resides in the midwest and has been in the administrative office field for thirty two years.
First off.... I hate novellas, I really do, they just always leave me hanging in the middle. BUT this one just leaves u with a want for more... and a need for a cold shower O.o Did I like it? No. I LOVED it.
Would I tell ppl to get it? Damn right I would! Not to give any spoilers, but I just love how the struggles of the characters become ur own. It's not a story u read, its one that u FEEL. And that's what makes a book stick with me and want to reread over and over.
Was given a copy for any honest review! Let me start with that JS Snow has written characters that are so beautiful in spirit. I love the way she has written a story that can be broken down in so may parts. Many stories are about two people and then you have the others as just characters. What Snow has is the ability to make Every character important in her stories.
This story you get a more independent look at two of the characters Drake and Angela. Vital pieces to add to the overall series. I love Drake, he is a man of deep insecurities because of his upbringing, but he is so protective of the people in his life. This hot bass player in a heavy metal. Drake feels deep , he feels like he needs to hold the band together and take care of all members.. Then he meets Angela who is way off limits to him and all bands. Angela is confident as Doc's assistant. She is the hard working kick-ass assistant, and a single mother and has worked hard to be both. She is drawn to Blake, but never feels like she would be worthy of him.
I love how Snow shows these two characters in this break down of the series.. A far deeper look into how these two come together and the thought process for both of them.
This series is a must read. The series is epic and must not be missed!
WOW!! Prepare yourself for a cold shower! A sensual novella that will leave you wanting more! JS gives you the story of the sexy manwhore Drake Mitchell of the band Hells Redemption and the ever bitchy and equally sexy Angela Ramirez. Only problem...Drake's manager forbids his band members to have any sexual relationship with her. If they do (or caught anyways) they would be immediately removed from the band and their career is gone. Even though they both know this rule, they decide to break the rules. For one night only. Only once the fun starts, it becomes obvious they truly enjoyed each other. The sex/role play was everything Drake was looking for and something that Angela was surprised she enjoyed as much. Angela is one bad a** in the music business, but holy Hell! She is one sexy dominatrix. The visuals that run through your head will leave you wanting more from this couple. Don't get me wrong a strong male dominant is hot; but Angela as the dominant and Drake as the submissive was scorching! Good luck putting out that fire! I would definitely recommend this book to everyone. This book will make you want to know the other members of the band.
Attraction Wow! The chemistry between Drake and Angela is amazing!!! I love them together!! Drake needs someone in the bedroom to take control and hand out "pain" so to speak and Angela (being the forbidden fruit) has offered to "try" it and see what happens... I say forbidden fruit as Angela is off limits to ALL band mates as she is the band managers assistant and he has strict rules on this!! They decide to partake in a little "sexy time" and even though Angela is only learning to be a Dom (quick google searches are good for some things!!) holy hell is She one sexy lady as a Dom and OMG Drake as a Sub is hot!!! I want to know more - will they hook up again - was it really just the one night stand that JS has made it out to be!!!! More!!! Please please more!!! Drake obviously has had feelings for A.G. since the beginning but maybe - just maybe Angela may help him get over them... Hopefully there is more to read about them next
for one the chemistry with these two blew my mind and made me want to take several cold showers only to read it all over again. The openness and honesty is overwhelming and welcome and left me wanting even more from them and wanting to read more about this band
This was a great novella to tie in with book 2 of the Metal Prodigy series, especially for those who like a little extra heat in their reads, and a must read for Drake fans. I really hope he and Angie get a chance. The insights into who Drake is and why he is that way were well worth the read on their own.
The insights into Simone were worth the read as well. It is very hard not to include spoilers talking about that area, so I won'tvsay any more except that I like her more and more all the time.
4 stars for the same reason book 1 was, just too many errors that could be easily fixed by another run through by a proofreader.
Highly recommended to readers of the Metal Prodigy series, and anabsolute must read for fans of Herr Mitchell (mi amado) and also for fans of Simone.
