Interesting but not all that informative. Basically a quick look at the countries around the world, without going into too much detail beyond geographical landmarks.

Frankly, I don't read that many geography books but I learned a great deal of history, topography and political alliances in this little volume. I really liked the quiz at the end of each section. It let me see just how much I learned by reading this book.

I cannot imagine giving this text to a student; it is definitely geared to adults.
