Rate this book
In the lucky 13th installment of Apocalypse Weird, we take the apocalypse to Asia...

For billionaire gaming tycoon Trent Baird, the in-and-out business trip to Singapore was just a blip in his otherwise self-absorbed existence. Do the deal and get back on a plane to LA.

But when a global pandemic traps him on the island nation, the situation goes sideways fast. Martial law, rumors of zombies, and a girl named Karma, who claims the tattoo on his chest is a talisman in an ancient war against evil. Abandoned by his friends, Trent takes the only escape option left—a thousand mile overland journey to a mysterious hideaway deep in the Himalayas.

As he fights his way north, Trent faces the awful truth. He is the Seal Bearer, and dark forces are coming for him.

The Seal Bearer is another great story by David Bruns. True to his style, this story has it's own unique spin on things. This book has zombies like you've never seen them before and you'll enjoy the fresh approach.

Trent Baird is on a business venture to Singapore when the zombie apocalypse starts. Martial law kicks in and craziness ensues. Trent meets a girl named Karma as he seeks safety. When she notices a unique tattoo on his chest she insists that he is the key to ending the madness, though Trent is sure he isn't.

After hearing of a safe place 1000 miles away over the mountains Trent sets out a journey of freedom and safety as he seeks his refuge. During this journey he learns more about himself and his purpose in life than he ever would have believed. Evil is after him, he is the Seal Bearer, and he must defeat the coming darkness.

5 Stars, I loved this book and can't recommend it enough. It is a fresh look at Zombies and I found it riveting!

I really enjoyed the story and the humor in this book. I found myself bugging others as I wanted to read parts of it to them. As an advanced reviewer, I received a free copy of this book in exchange for a fair review. I have also purchased a copy of it.
The story kept my interest and I read as much at a time as my eyes would allow, never wanting to put it down. Interesting well developed characters and a storyline that kept me guessing. Lots of action and introspection.
I highly recommend this and all of the Apocalypse Weird stories.

A great story, full of action and intrigue. It flowed really well with plenty of twists to keep me hooked into the book.
The characters were interesting and worked well together, though Baird started off as a typical billionaire type he definitely evolved.
The ending was not at all what I expected and I hope we will eventually have answers.
Overall another fantastic apocalypse weird.

Such a good story... I loved the gaming references... The Apocalypse with not just zombies but a Kraken (or at least something large with tenticals) and a Dragon or two... The Blackhand is up to all his tricks and really wants to get control of the Seal Bearer... But Trent has some of the most unlikely help, his driver and a boy monk...
