I received a copy of this from BookSprout and this is my freely given opinion.
This is listed as a historical erotica and I was looking for short, fun, and steamy for a quick bit of entertainment. This is certainly short and salacious as a bit of menage erotica... but really really really annoying as it was so poorly written and edited.
First off, there are massive incongruities language, idioms, and references if this is supposed to take place in some point in historical London. The main character is supposed to be a singer at a theatre on Drury Lane - but talks about earning dollars versus shillings/guineas or any other appropriate currency, and bars in the local area, versus public houses, alehouses, or whatnot. There inconsistency in historical references, such as talking about teddy bears, and referencing when the fat lady sings, which are both more early 20th century references than 19th century, and more American than British. There is basic spelling issues - such as flipping between "theatre" and "theater", and "new" when it should have been "knew", and editing issues such as referencing both men as his Grace, when one is a lord, and only one of them is a duke, and when they speak of finding pleasure in taking two women together when they proposition her, but are proposing a menage a trois. Then there are some other editing issues in terms of grammar and punctuation. I am no expert, but even I can see the glaringly obvious run on sentences and poor punctuation, such as when Anne asks a question, but there is actually a question mark missing. There is also at least once instance of flipping from telling the story in the first person and otherwise.
Also, there was no warning prior, but if you are triggered assault and rape, there is a rather brief but traumatic assault and rape of the main character in the alley. But then there is no real resolution of that, either in punishment or justice for the villain, or real exploration of her experience and healing.
Finally, this is advertised as being 70+pages of novella, but it is really half of that, and the rest is an excerpt for another story... so do not expect depth of plot, character, or story telling.
So no.... just plain no... to say the least, annoying and disappointing.

This needs some work
I can see where the author wanted to go with this story, but it needs more work done to it. It felt like I was missing a few paragraphs that had some important details. Grammar wasn't the best, with using the wrong word, spelling words wrong.
Also, the ending didn't work at all. Now, don't get me wrong, I understand it's a short story, but nope.

Thought it would be a great menage historical story with a curvy FMC but it was rushed to the point you didn't know what was happening. Not to mention, the writing could be better because sometimes I didn't know what was happening since the commas weren't placed right.

This is not an actual book. It's a short story. The story ends around 70% threw the book, & a preview of another book is given from that point on. The story Shared by 2 Men was very short. It is fairly well written. You do get a sense of who the MFC is and what her life is like. It is set in London in what seems to be around the 1900's. I'm going by the way she described the clothes the MFC wore. It doesn't actually give an exact year. It takes a little bit to tell the two MMC apart. Basically the names are mentioned, but then they're called a few different things. Like your grace, & you have to figure out which one she's speaking too or about. That was slightly confusing. There are a couple very steamy scenes involving the MFC & the 2 MMC. The story does wrap up with a happily for now ending.
The climax of the book was quick, thankfully, but it was slightly disturbing. The two MMC have nothing to do with what happens. It is side character that has an evil streak. You aren't really prepared for it by the way the story had been up to that point. It is something that would have happened more than likely in that way back then. I just think the book might need at least a mention that there could be triggering content for some. The MFC seems to adapt and very quickly start to heal from what happens to her. Of course this is fiction and a short story. So, there isn't time to tell a long drawn out version. It just felt a little too fast for me. Especially since the counter was only at 70% when the story ended. There was definitely time in my opinion to tell a little more about that incident or leave it out entirely.
Overall it's a decent read. The author has potential. Some of her other stories or books are probably more to my liking. I'd read something by her again, but only if I knew for sure how long it was first. I doubt I'd buy a book by the author, but would get one from kindle unlimited or the library.

As the title states, she is a big woman, but she doesn’t garner the attention the other performers do. She is approached by two men, a duke, Jake and best friend Ralph, also a noble. They want to share her together. This story is disjointed and incomplete. I didn’t get a sense of who these characters really were. There was no sizzling connection between the three. The intimate scenes were lacking in passion. The event in the middle (not going to spoil, however, I hope the author has a trigger list) didn’t belong in this type of short story. Being so short, the story should’ve focused fully on the ménage relationship to be successful. There was potential in this story, unfortunately the author veered off track.

Uncovering Her Hidden Pleasures -
Anne was plus-sized, but she didn’t allow anyone to make her feel bad about it. Because of this, she was apprehensive when Jake and Ralph propositioned her, but what she didn’t know at the time was that it was the start to a life that she could only daydream about. Unfortunately, not everyone is happy about the new direction of her life and she suffers for it. Fortunately, her alpha men are able to make her feel safe again.
This book has got enough heat to power a six car train and the storyline was just as captivating. If you are looking for a panty melting historical romance to blow your mind, then you have definitely found it with this book.

I enjoyed this short story but found it to be more erotica than romance.
I loved the historical setting which is one of the most interesting types of story for me.
I found this to be a descriptive and well written book that cranked up the heat.

I RATE THIS STORY 3.5.
This story takes place in the days where being an actress meant being a step above a prostitute, you were able to become a mistress. Anne, being a curvy woman, didn’t think men would like her for her shape. Jake and Ralph prove her wrong, but she is accosted and thinks that no one will ever want her again or that she would ever want to be with a man. I love the way Jake and Ralph want to come to her defense and take her into Jake’s home to be cared for. I would have ranked the story higher if the culprit had been dealt with. It seems that he accosted her and got off scot-free.

This is a great story that will captivate you from beginning to end. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

As a bbw myself, it's refreshing to see a book where a woman is adored for who she truly is. Her suitors loved her added curves and gave her the boost that she needed to not only embrace her sexual prowess but to let go and love. These two gentlemen were chivalrous, romantic and unafraid of going after the woman of their dreams. They also stood by her as she endured the worst thing she encountered. All in all it was a great short read that spotlighted loving a plus sized woman and we can always use more stories like this. 💜.

Shared by 2 Men: A BBW Menage Historical Romantic Short Story by author Summer Cooper. In this tale you get some serious drama- they make her feel like never before, they spoil her. Then one dark brutal night everything changes - will they still want her? Can she overcome it? I won’t tell you more, you’ll need to read for yourselves. Just know this is a fast paced read with all the bells and whistles.

This is a BBW historical romance story, which is about Anne, and the two men who have entered her life and take good care of her. When Anne is brutally attacked one night, everything changes. Will she still be wanted by the two men? Can Anne move forward with her life as she heals? This is another good story which is fast paced, and with drama, emotions, and is a steamy compelling page turner. I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I recommend.

I tried to like this book but it just didn’t do it for me. Not enough of a story. Also the story was only half the book. I couldn’t feel the connection between the three of them. I felt that there needed to be more background plus there’s a part of the story that might be a trigger for some. The way that it was dealt with bothered me too.

Anne is “the fat lady” that sings. Thinking that her life will be ordinary, she was not expecting the two men that walked into her life. Jake and Ralph are wealthy and are interested in Anne that is not normal for this time.
Always interesting to read how things were viewed in the past. Feelings and attitudes were real. Enjoyed the story.

This book can be read in under an hour. It is an m/f/m story, so I can't really say that it's a romance, but it has some elements of romance in it. It sheds light on some women's lives in history, which is a bit sad. I did enjoy reading it, though. There is one scene of forced sexual relations, definitely non-consensual, that might be a problem for some to read. In all, it's a good book.

Glad that the curvier women get a happy ever after, sorry to say didn’t really enjoy anything else tbh, no chemistry between any of them, bit of drama and the ending just didn’t seem like an ending, quite abrupt in fact. Plus couldn’t get over the fact one of the men has the same name as a relative! Sorry again.

Anne was always the big girl and didn’t get a lot of positive attention. So when she is presented with a proposition she didn’t believe it. I understand times were different back then but she shouldn’t have just accepted what happened to her if she had someone in her corner. Quick book but good.

Anne plus two - The attention she gets on stage is only overshadowed by the attention she gets in the arms of her two men. Steamy action for all involved that is tainted when another dares to take that which is not freely given. A short read that left a bitter taste at the actions of a most vile roue.

This a a good book, although a short story, you get to know Anne almost personally, you can feel her sadness and her joy. The Duke and Lord Ashford are gental while dominant. .

this is a MMF Menage time period short story, that is filled with action, adventure, steam and plenty of emotion. It has a great story and is well written for a short erotic romance. .
