After reading The Miracle Morning (Hal Elrod), I started getting up earlier and doing the SAVERS routine that he recommends. But I struggled with the affirmations and visualizations. Which is why I downloaded this book by Terri Savelle Foy.
I found it very helpful for getting to grips with the whole thing - from creating a vision board to doing the affirmations and visualization itself.
It's engagingly written, dotted with quotes and life experiences. A nice read that I will return to again if my affirmations and visualizations get sloppy!

I️ recommend this book to anyone who desires to get out of the rut of unaccomplished goals every year and who wants to see positive change in their life at last.

I first heard about it in the movie "The Secret". Since then, I make one every year. I like the idea of seeing my dreams and goals clearly in front of me. Also, making such a board is a lot of fun!

In this booklet there are various tips on how to make a Vision Board and how to work with it. I really liked the idea of writing the things we want. This is done in order to be aware of what is the thing we most want to achieve and not lose focus from it. There are also a lot of stories of people handling the board. I don't think the book is for everyone, because it puts a lot of emphasis on religion. I'm religious, but I'm not a fanatic on this subject, and there's a lot of talk about it in the pages. The author invites us to make a sheet with 101 things we want to do in our lives. If you think it's easy ... I'm still at number 54😅 She also suggests making a list of 10 things we want to happen to us next year, which is also helpful in creating the board.

This book is mostly about money, materialism and worldly stuffs, e.g. owning designer shoes, beautiful clothes, looking skinny, vacation, cars, houses, etc. Not that these material and worldly desires are wrong, no, but I would like to know more about how to “attract” or create vision board for health, peace, closer to God, wisdom, godly character, family harmony, emotional stability, social relationship... it’s a quick read with some insights, if your focus is on material and worldly gains, it might be more useful, in my opinion.

5+ stars!!!! This book has changed my life!! Now, I can't imagine my life without a vision board in it. When you read this book along with the workbook, your life will change. I have goals now, and I see my goals daily on my vision board. I pray over my goals. My mindset has already begun changing.

This book is a game changer. I can't express how much this book has helped me already. I was in a stuck state of mind, but I have made a huge shift...all because of this book. Do the action steps in the book and do the workbook. I thought of it as a class and told myself to do my homework for the workbook. You really have to do the action steps at the end of each chapter, which will require you to do some things and make some changes. This will be a forever book for me.

I highly, highly, highly recommend this book to everyone!!!

So excited for my future after reading this! This has been a source of inspiration for me over the last several months. Every time I needed some vision, I'd read a chapter.
What I learned:
1. Vision boards are biblical, and the law of attraction also originates from God.
2. My wildest dreams are actually assignments.
3. If you change nothing, nothing changes.
4. Successful people FOCUS.
5. Love this one, "God cannot be mocked, a man reaps what he sows." You know when you're wishing for something really amazing to happen to you, but you kinda just sit around waiting for it? I finally understand why waiting doesn't work. Yes it's true that God loves me and wants me to have the desires of my heart, but I need to work to make myself ready for it. I also love the verse, "He who can be trusted with little can be trusted with much." Too true.

Anyhow, gonna go change my life.

I'm not a huge Terri Savelle fan nor do I agree 100%, however, some of the things she says are pretty good. So take what resonates & leave what doesn't.

It's still the first month of the new year, I made a visionboard for myself already, and I need direction in life atm - so with all that being said, I decided to give this book a shot cz why not?

A few quotes I liked: "You shouldn't live your life without a clear, mapped out destination in mind // What's in front of you is far more important than what's behind you // Don't limit God // What do you have the audacity to dream?" 💯

I've annotated this book front-to-back, it's pretty straightforward simple read & I'm going to be doing her workbook as well. I would say as a reminder: God 1st & everything will fall into place [ Proverbs 16:9 & Jeremiah 29:11 ]

Insightful!

I enjoyed this book with the real life examples and biblical truths and applications. Preparing to have a vision board party. I look forward to reading other works by TSF. While Terri focused on things in the natural, one can easily take the same approach for the things they are seeking in the Holy Spirit. If you are seeking to hear from God, seeking to get revelation, have an understanding of how healing works and being a soul winner or church growth, etc., it is possible to apply the same principles. It was an easy read. And the action steps make sense if you choose to do them. I would recommend it to others. I think she was trying to be relatable to her audiences of all walks of life without getting to deep.

“Dream It. Pin It. Live It.” by Terri Savelle Foy is a transformative and life-changing book that has deeply resonated with me. Foy’s practical guide to setting and achieving goals through vision boards is both inspiring and actionable.

One of the most impactful principles I plan to implement is the practice of gratitude—thanking God in advance for making my dreams come true. This powerful mindset shift aligns my faith with my aspirations, creating a positive and hopeful outlook.

Another profound concept is sowing a seed for your dreams. By investing time, effort, and resources into my goals, I am nurturing them to fruition. This principle encourages proactive steps and reinforces the belief that our dreams are worth the investment.

Overall, “Dream It. Pin It. Live It.” is a must-read for anyone looking to turn their dreams into reality. It’s a beacon of hope and a practical roadmap for achieving success.

I used to think that while vision boards were pretty fun to make they could sometimes be cheesy, but this book turned my perspective around. I’ve started journaling dreams that God put on my heart so long ago and it’s been a wake up call to how passive I’ve acted about life since then. I know the Lord is changing the way I think and working mighty in my life!
“Write the vision And make it plain on tablets, That he may run who reads it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time; But at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; Because it will surely come, It will not tarry.”

Building your faith is a choice, just as you choose to build your muscles.
A book to pick up to improve on skills of visual affirmations and manifestation techniques for your life goals and/or your vision board. I came across TSFs book after seeing a great video of hers on YT. The book is insightful and to the point with biblical references from start till end. She has strategically organized the chapters to guide the reader with tactical steps on how to convert dreams-goals-reality. Easy, straightforward and an inspirational read.

Terri is so inspiring. I love watching her YouTube channel, that’s how I found out about this book. This book is backed by scripture and is filled with uplifting messages and testimonies. God loves it when we dream. When we ask big things from God, and have faith, we will receive those things. We shouldn’t limit God, but ask much from Him. I highly recommend this book! I’ve got my vision board made and I’ve been praying over it and working towards my goals.

This was an amazing book! I got it along with the course that Terri has. It has ended too soon which always indicates it was a great one! I will definitely be referring back to this book and to the things I've learned in the course. It is something that will reignite your dreams and desire as well as your faith. It was wonderful to finally understand and to have an focus for all of those feelings and goals and dreams I've had and didn't know what to do with.

I loved this book. I will definitely be rereading it again soon

If you loved the Secret then you found its off spring. This book blew me away as Terri coaching mentoring guidance tips is truly outstanding and she clearly justify it in each chapters.
Its your mindset, your faith and importantly getting off your backside and doing it beyond your comfort zone.
I definitely recommended it and I definitely will be rereading it again very soon. Best wishes Sean

I like how the book spells out the why and how if vision boarding. Anyone can put some pictures up and call it a day but this book helps you see the importance of praying over what you put up and keeping the vision in front of you and making it practical while also allowing yourself to dream. Really enjoyed it.

I enjoyed reading this book and how she lays out real and relevant ways to live your faith, goals, and vision. Many messages are repetitive but I don’t mind that because it drive home the point of the message. To reach the goal, you envision it before you and chart a course (your own action steps) to make it happen. I imagine once we do it this way, we leave no room for counterfeit dreams because we walk in step to our own! I’m looking forward to engaging the process.

Dream It. Pin It. Live It. Review

I enjoyed reading this book on Vision Boards and am excited to see mine be fulfilled. Using God's word in her writing as helped me connect the truth of Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future(NIV).

It was a good road map to “seeing” your dreams, sort of like visual affirmations for your future. I may add that while this is great sometimes things may shift in a different direction than what you envisioned...
