Break my heart into pieces 😭

Shayla!!! Why must you take my heart and completely demolish it! Dean and Jeyla had
a wild ride from the very beginning in book 1. Full of so much “Love-Hate” fuel! I just knew that book 2 would calm down. Haha, jokes on me because this book BROKE ME! Thankfully, Shayla was kind enough to forewarn ANOTHER cliffhanger but that could never prepare me for the damage this book caused. I bawled my eyes out in the beginning. I was overjoyed and very very involved in their oh so spicy adventures 😉❤️‍🔥 but I knew things couldn’t possibly stay happy! Nothing could have prepared me for this outcome. All too soon, my tears returned and questions starting rolling in. Why? How? WHAT THE HECK IS GOING ON!?!? I.NEED.MORE.SOON.PLEASEEE😭

I am obsessed with the book.!!! I have only cried twice while reading the book one is when I was reading When love & Fate collide.!!

I might not have words to describe how I feel about reading this one but all I can say is I felt every scene of this book, it touched my core. Dean and Jeyla are sweethearts it seriously broke me when I read the sad scenes and saw them suffering they are the one who deserve their happily ever after and there is still hope that i am clinging to...

I would love to read the third part, but also the wait for that book to release is killing me.

For all who are reading this book or plans to read I would say keep the tissue box handy and be ready to be left at cliffhanger 😉😜

Wow where can I begin… the story of Dean and Jeyla takes you through an emotional rollercoaster in the second book. I cried the entire time it was so heartbreaking at times and other times you were smiling like a idiot. A novel on the ups and downs of a relationship of childhood friends who tormented each other for 20 years only to realize that they are soul mates. The end is a true cliff hanger but it leaves you longing for book 3. Shayla Hart is an amazing writer I have loved all of her books she has written so far and I am patiently waiting for her to release more. If you have never read any of her stuff give the accidental wife a try…. My personal opinion it should be made into a movie… it is that GOOD!!!!

I finished it a few hours ago and WOW!
Just when I thought there couldn't be any better than the first one, the Author outdoes herself and gives us a book with everything: love, laughter, happiness, tears, anger... all in one book.
It's one of the books I'd like to erase from my memory, just to have the feeling of reading it again.
I'm looking forward to the next one but I'm sure this is one of the books I will remember and LOVE for a long time!
Shayla, please don't make us wait too long for the next one!

Wow Shayla!

Although I read the book previously on Wattpad, I thoroughly enjoyed the new version of this book. The emotions were a rollercoaster ride throughout and very emotional.
Dean and JJ are one of my two fav's and I cannot wait (hopefully not to long) for the final part of their journey and hopefully a happy ending for both of them. The book is one of those you cannot put down, I read it in one go.
Good job Shayla. I look forward to the last book in this series and a happy ending for Dean and Jeyla.

I ate this book up in less than 24 hours!!

So we took off where Book 1 ended, and then I went on an emotional rollercoaster. I'm not ever sure I'll get off!! Dean & JJ's story is full of tension (soo hot), angst, passion, and heartbreak that it makes for this fantastic story that Shayla has written.
That ending 👀👀

Dean & JJ are one of my favourite couples, and if you haven't yet, you need to go back and start their story.

Where do I begin… I have been patiently waiting for this book and oh my it does not disappoint! Grips you from page one. I finished the book in the space of 3 days (whilst juggling a newborn) it’s that good I was reading it whilst doing the night feeds and having a good old cry! It’s a real rollercoaster so be prepared!

I found Shayla on TikTok awhile ago and have read almost everything she has released. I really think I can say this one is one of my favorites. I could not put it down. This one has all the feels and emotions plus some! Happy and sad tears throughout the book. If you haven’t read any of Shayla’s books, I highly recommend you do. I cannot wait for more Dean and JJ!

Shayla has a unique way of writing, which is why I love her books so much. This book does not disappoint; the author makes you fall in love with a new book. The way Dean and Jeyla's story continues will make you laugh and cry. This book is an emotional rollercoaster; there will be times when you cry, but there are also moments when you will feel excitement, joy, and butterflies in your stomach. But I think that's what makes a good book. I think the author has once again dazzled, and this is one of her best works. It's a perfectly written book. We get to see Dean and Jeyla in this story when they are a lot more grown up and willing to fight for their love and happiness. Her characters are brought to life so vividly that I felt deeply connected to Dean and Jeyla throughout the entire story. The way they develop and grow throughout the book is simply remarkable. Although some could argue that it's a lengthy book, I found myself unable to put it down, and it felt as though I finished it much too quickly. The book ends on a cliffhanger, and although we were warned about it at the beginning of the book, it was as if I was still not prepared for the end. Currently, all I want is for volume three to be released as soon as possible, and I genuinely hope that Dean and Jeyla get their well-deserved happy ending together because they have captured my heart completely. I'm eager and curious about what will happen in the third book, but I'm also nervous about the unexpected twists and surprises Shayla has in mind for us (I hope that Oz will continue to be nothing more than a nice brother and friend, as he has been up until now). I suggest reading the series in order, and when you get to Dean and Jeyla's story, get ready to fall in love—you won't want to put it down.

The story of JJ and Dean is actually the reason why I was hooked by the way Shayla wrote her books. I love both characters and I really thought that it was a one off, and I was really happy to know that it is not the case. She really did something to me in this book and all her other books actually. Now for this book, when I read the TW, it was kinda a spoiler, which sucks but I still read it because I know more things will happen. So, the first half of the book was really emotional, I cried like a lot and I could not put this book down. Then they were getting married, which is the majority of the book along with the honeymoon. They really really love each other and I can feel it with the way she write their story. I finished reading the book a couple of days ago and was able to complete a few more books but when I was writing this review, I can still feel the sting, happiness and all the emotions that I felt when I was reading this book. Yes, it is kind of predictable but you would want to be in this ride because you would want to feel all the emotions and just enjoy the ride. For the next book, I know a lot may not want the KISS to happen, I really thought it was bound to happen, because of how he felt and of their situation. I am really hoping that side will be given a spotlight even just a little.

When Love & Fate Collide is the highly emotional second book in this series continuing right after the cliffhanger of the first book. I did receive an ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review.

Overall Rating: 4 out of 5 stars

Spice Level: 4 out of 5 peppers - several very spicy scenes throughout the book with lots and lots of dirty talk. Even with all of the spice, this book is still plot-driven.

PROS
- So much of the banter and dirty talk that I love
- Written in a way that makes you really connect deeply with the main characters like you're watching them in a movie
- It just feels like you're reading an epic love story

CONS
- I don't consider this a real con but I know some do so - this book ends on a cliffhanger and the next book isn't available yet
- Considering there was a good amount of back and forth in the first book, it was a bit of a turn-off that it continued still in this second book
- This is an emotional read that will have triggers that affect some. If you're looking for a super happy positive sunshine book, you need to continue looking
- While I enjoyed the overall journey of the book I did feel it was a bit long in some parts while I wish the last couple of chapters had a bit more backstory

Overall, I was very pleased with the second book in this series and obviously can't wait to read the third.

This story has the power to make you feel every emotion that the characters go through and then some. The roller coaster ride that Jeyla and Dean's love takes you on is truly perfect in every way. The way the characters navigate through life and love is relatable and raw.
Shayla's writing style is impeccable, and the way she weaves her words creates an intense emotional connection between the reader and the characters. Jeyla and Dean's story continues in a way that does not disappoint, and the emotions between the two are palpable. From tears to butterflies in your stomach, this book will make you feel it all.
The only downside to this book is that you will read it too fast, and it will leave you wanting more. The characters' love is intense and meant to be, and you will feel it through the book. This book is a true masterpiece that had me crying from the very beginning to the end. It is worth every tear. Shayla has done it again, and this book is a must-read for anyone who enjoys a good love story. You must read this series in order!

Arc review: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. Shayla is an amazing writer, she puts her heart and soul into her books . They are well written and have amazing detail where you can picture it in your mind or it’s like your watching a movie. She also has a way to bring your feeling 360. Dean and Jeyla love story isn’t any different. You will laugh, cry, get mad and even be in aw . Their love story is unforgettable.

I can’t but to much book history/detail in this review without giving it away, so i’ll say it is a MUST read. If i could get it a higher rating then a 5 I would. Also When Love & Fate Collide picks up right where When Love & Hate Collide, so make sure you read that one first. There is a cliff hanger, but there is a book 3 .

I normally don't read series but this was a exception. Although the story is predicted,I really love dean and Jeyla. Dean has so many insecurities but he finally faces his fear, Jeyla is so strong I love how he stands and doesn't sacrifice his love for anyone.

Ashlyn is a shitty sister and worst bestfriend, she's so oblivious to Jeyla's feelings she doesn't even know when she's sad n if she knows she just forces her to party. And she acts so selfish and says cruel words to jeyla when she discovers she's with her brother. I hate her so much.

The fact jeyla kissed dean's brother ruined the story for me.I hope next book is not a love triangle, I don't want jeyla to have any feelings for Oz. I only want Dean and Jeyla to be happy with their baby finally

I thought book 1 of this series put me on an emotional rollercoaster, however, nothing compares to the ride I took for book 2.

I cried sad tears, I cried happy tears, I even got angry a few times. This book hooks your right in. I never wanted to put it down but made myself try and savor it at the same time. I now will be anxiously awaiting the next book.

Jeyla and Dean are so amazing. I love their passion! Just like every other couple Shayla has been written, they are unforgettable. These two will forever have a place in my heart.

Grab this book and enjoy. While you’re at, it if you haven’t read Shayla’s backlog you should do that as well.

From the very beginning, you will feel the passion between Dean and Jeyla!!! Be prepared to go on a winding roller coaster of emotions with these two. From hate to love to devastation to obsession with a side of possessive and add in a few heart breaking twists. Oh and top it off with the WORST way to end the book ever, that cliffhanger will make you rethink your choices in reading this book. But trust me it is completely worth it. The steam, the tension, the sexy scenes and everything in between make it sooooo worth it. Now my only issue is wait (impatiently) for the next book to come out!!!!! Ugh!!!!

Arc Review-

I absolutely loved the book. It was such an emotional rollercoaster. It had me in tears at points, especially the funeral and when dean was said to be dead. The only thing I didn’t like is the fact that Jeyla kissed Dean’s brother in the end of it although that’s just me personally and it’s nothing against the book! That cliffhanger was even worse than the first one but it’s okay because it saved the ending for me! I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a good love story with plenty of smut on the side

I didn’t think a book could wreck me more than Dean and JJ’s first book but I was so wrong. I am unwell. I am wrecked. There were smiles and boy were there tears. I didn’t think I could feel for a character in a book but what I felt for JJ…. I literally had goosebumps and tears (especially as a military wife I know deployments and I know the fear). If there was ever an author that has the talent to wreck you and put you back together it’s definitely Shayla!!! I cannot wait for book 3!!!

This story has everything you could want in it. These characters have gone through so much and grown up between the two novels. Just when you think you know what’s coming next, then book throws you for a loop. This book had be crying both happy and devastated tears. I was in tears 😭 this book is definitely an emotional rollercoaster but I couldn't put it down I absolutely love dean and jayla their chemistry is off the charts 🥵

Dean and JJ’s story continues in another emotional book.
After the previous book’s cliffhanger, JJ and Dean have more fighting to go through, more hate/love and super smexy scenes.
This book will leave you tearful and smiley all at the same time. It’s quite long, and at times there’s too much written word going on but once you’re invested in the story there’s no way back.
