I've been doing tons of brush pen, fine marker and Sharpie illustrations over the past six months, so I was really happy to pick this up. Great for ideas and inspiration. The kind of book that I'll go back to again and again. Highlight: An awesome illustrated, fact-filled spread on the history of the Sharpie.

Well packaged and a stimulating little book, with accompanying prompt workbook. I’ve had this on the TBR shelf for a while, under the impression it might be a longer how-to manual. But, it’s actually a quick read, with some nice examples and insights into the process. Loved the tip about tracing paper and refining.

For an art inspo book like this to be successful, for me, it needs to stimulate, trigger action and have a can-do and accessible vibe.
