The Castaways: Real-Life Accounts of Aborted Souls

Rate this book
When a troubled three-year-old boy began telling his parents about being in the tummy of his "other mommy," it seemed nothing more than a childhood fantasy. But his supposed memories only grew more vivid, as did his love and longing for the mother he felt he had lost. Little could anyone imagine the astonishing revelation that would come several years later when he met a friend of the family! This remarkable book tells his story and that of many like him. This is the story of the castaways.

"We have learned much about death and the life after. Sarah Hinze leads us into the next great area of research-the study of where we come from."
--Elisabeth Kübler-Ross, M.D., Psychiatrist and
author of On Death and Dying

"The remarkable accounts presented here by Sarah Hinze all have one thing in common: they presuppose a pre-mortal existence, not only for the souls of aborted babies but for all human beings."
--E. Douglas Clark, J.D., M.B.A., Director of UN Affairs for the Howard Center for
Family, Religion and Society (The Castaways -15th Anniversary
Edition, 2015)

"The Castaways adds a new dimension to the entire field of books about life before birth by providing compelling evidence that babies in the womb can feel pain and rejection, sometimes resulting in traumatic memories after birth. The Castaways is a life-changing book with the potential to be a world-changing book."
--John P. Pratt, Ph.D.

"I have always believed that abortion is much more than just a choice. This fascinating book details how abortion effects not only women, but the children they choose not to bear."

--Dr. Richard G. Wilkins, Professor of Law and Director, The World Family
Policy Center (The Castaways, 2000)

Interesting ideas on what happens to aborted, miscarried, or otherwise lost children. It gives hope to couples that can't conceive that one day they may be able to. An interesting read and I agree that abortion is murder. I have no idea when the spirit enters the body and this book does not answer that question but it does discuss that each of us has a plan and when our bodies are killed by anything other than normal natural causes it has negative effects.

Inspiring and thought provoking

This book carries a beautiful message of hope and eternal love through such traumatic loss. If every woman considering an abortion would read even just one of the accounts in this book, millions of babies would be saved. Thank you Sarah for writing such an inspiring work!

SUCH HOPE!

Wonderful, inspiring and encouraging. This book confirms what I know in my heart to be true. It is one I want to re-read many times. God has used it to help me forgive myself and my Mother with whom I had a very stormy and destructive relationship. I kept telling her that "I am your SENSITIVE CHILD"; she never got it. I have had a severe problem with rejection and fear of abandonment my whole life; NOW I can easily understand why. That script apparently began before I was born and kept repeating over and over. Now I can grow past it.

Such a good book! So insightful and thought-provoking. I think everyone should read this. It’s a short and quick book full of great meanings that all should know.

Definitely read if you are a mother or have had an abortion or are open to abortions.

A very touching and hopeful collection of stories, based on evidence that the spirits of children who are aborted get another chance at life.
