It's a fair read if interested in the interaction of European and native American cultures. I intent to use it as a supplementary to my kids homeschool. I came across a few insightful and interesting analysis of the political and economic landscape of the time. Even from it's old publication date it does not feel outdated. I can see where some readers may find it lacking in relevance, but there are photos and art pieces you won't see elsewhere. Only truly for tenacious fans on the subject particularly, I don't see a reason for anyone else to look at it.

Nice book, it describes with great accuracy the life and the events surrounding the Native American Indians. How they lived what they ate how they hunt and so on. A good book for someone that wants to learn about the way of life of the American Indians.
