Sam just wanted to be done with the four-sided love triangle from last summer. Things were quiet now that Ethan and Josh were gone and it was just him and Max. As Sam and Max learn more about each other, they get more adventurous, especially in bed. As soon as Ethan's gone back to studying abroad, Josh goes back to his old ways and Sam and Max have to keep themselves from getting in the crossfire.
