My 6-year-old son and I really enjoyed this book. My son says he likes how brave Lucky the lion is. I like how it shows how much you can do if you believe in yourself. It also shows how unlikely friends can come together and become the best of friends.
My son would have liked a couple pictures, but that definitely is not a make or break thing for us since we've started reading chapter books at night that rarely have pictures.
This would have gotten 5 stars from me if it weren't for the fact that it is in desperate need of some good editing. There are times when I had to read a sentence a couple times to figure out what it should have said. There were also some misspellings - to the point that "Lucky" is misspelled once. Hopefully someone will edit this to make it better for kiddos to be able to read and understand (as it is, I'm glad I was reading it to my son rather than the other way around).
Overall, a fun reading experience that we both enjoyed and will probably read again.
This is one of them books that has a great moral story (this one is dont automatically be scared of someone because they look different), it has great fun cute characters, who doesn't love lion cubs and monkeys!, One big thing I think this book lacks that would engage the reader more and draw them in is some illustrations, something to add a bit of colour and help them to imagine the animals on their adventures. I did also notice a confusing part when the lion cubs name went from lucky to lucas to luke in three different paragraphs which was certainly confusing.and
Some good proof reading and editing plus illustrations would take this from a four star to a solid five in my opinion
A chance to join Lucky on one of his series of Quests for discovery!
I enjoyed this ebook about Lucky and how he can teach young kids not to be scared or upset when they may meet someone who is different in some ways and to be brave. So, for these reasons I feel it needs five stars. And recommend this this for young kids who loves animal stories and who enjoys learning new things. I received this ebook or free and here is my honest review in return for being able to read it. Super job Mary Sue! By Angela
I really like this book because its about a lion cub, who's name is lucky and he really is lucky! He met so much new friends, and I really like how kind he is and compassionate to other animals. Just lovin' it! 😘
Butter and jelly sandwiches for you to me about your phone number one two

We read the short stories every night and we were very sorry to read the last story! Now we are desperate for more, is there any other part to the story? Very funny the grandkids love it and it allow me grandma to expand and the various characters and share some life lessons with the kids. Would recommend it highly!
The story is perfect for kids, mischief, and adventure.
I give this book five 🌟s because it gives you facts about how 🐍's are dangerous, and how monkeys are mischief. It is a bit boring but if you keep reading the book it'll get better.😺😸💟
My five year old grandson really enjoyed this book. He enjoyed hearing all of Lucky's adventurers and the friends he made. The book was pretty well written and had a few mistakes missed in editing.
My daughter chose this book. It sounded cute from the blurb, but I found it difficult to read to her. Each page is rife with spelling, punctuation, and line spacing errors. It breaks my heart to. .d3 P...mmmmmm S sand 1 ZZZ
These are the adventures of Lucky the lion cub, as he learns to make friends by helping others and not to judge people just because they look different. Lots if fun for more advanced readers.
It was adventurous and fun. There was a lot of action. No one got hurt too terribly. I also liked that Lucky was kind and helpful. But... There were a bunch of typos.
I enjoyed reading this book to my three month old cousin who quickly fell to sleep. It was exciting to learn about the different friends found in the jungle.
A wonderful book that could be read each chapter alone as a separate story. My 4 and 5yr olds totally enjoyed the stories and the lessons hidden within. I love to read with different voices for characters and since I received this book for my kindle in return for a truthful review. It was good I could do voices as there are no pictures in this format. Will be reading more from this author!
