Oh LORD!
I cannot accurately sum up the way this book made me feel without giving much away...so here it is.
Tristan and Dev!
Totally pulled at my heartstrings.
Well...with the exception one of theeee most scorching sex scene I've ever read in a book:
Then I was like:
And:
Then ALEX entered the book!
And I was like:
And then I was like:
By the end of the book I was like:
And honestly! I CAN'T WAIT for the third one! Especially after that ending!

Holy macaroni! I didn't expect that.
Right away the author let's you know that Alex doesn't play....I still can't believe that he did that =(
The author wasn't kidding...it gets dark. I've never been more memorized by a villain (aka Alex) in a book before...he was kind of sexy...I can't lie.
(I still love Tristan though.)
Not to mention, I honestly couldn't tell what was going to happen from one moment to the next with Alex. The suspense kept me on the edge of my seat.
I LOVE that Dev did what needed to be done though (once she realized wtf was going on- tsk tsk Tristan.)
Side note: I absolutely LOVE Moe! (He's my favorite side character for sure.)
Slight Spoiler Below:
The biggest shock was how it ended though (I saw one thing happening, and I was definitely routing for it to happen) but the other...oh man.
I can't wait for book 3 'Twisted Love" because I NEEDDDDD Tristan and Dev to find there way back to one another.
Hopefully book 3 won't make it so drawn out and they do it sooner rather than later, because I LOVEEEEEEE their connection it literally sizzles off the damn pages lol.

Major spoilers:
I really liked book 1, but book 2 ruined it for me. I can't handle reading about the heroine having sex with another man, the way she did have sex with him, and especially since the OM was her first love and the hero's half-brother. Even though she was doing it to protect the hero, it just felt wrong.
Her first love was a leader of a drug cartel. She thought he was a foster kid like her, but he wasn't.
A lot of misunderstandings that after awhile got on my nerves.
I really liked book 1, but book 2 ruined it for me. Okay so this one was a bit better than the first book, BUT the plot was still underdeveloped with gaps and inconsistencies.

Ashley Jade delivered another great book in this series with Twisted Wrath. I love the unpredictability of this storyline, and really enjoyed the dark turn that this story took. The suspense level was at an all-time high and I truly had no idea where the author was going. Tristian and Dev had huge hurdles ahead of them in this story, and there are so many components to both their past and present. Alex's character added a whole new dimension to the story and I found myself wanting more of him, wanting to delve into his mind and figure him out. This author is great at creating characters who, good or bad, you cant help but want more of. Like book, 1 of the series, Twisted Wrath had some unpredictable twists and turns that left me breathless. With the way things ended, I am really looking forward to reading the conclusion of this trilogy, which is sure to be an epic one.

Twisted Wrath is the second book in the Twisted series.
OMG this book has totally broke me into pieces. This book literally had my anxiety going above and beyond with all the emotions I was feeling. The story is full of twist, suspense, secrets, pain and heartbreak. Ashley Jade definitely knows how to get a story across and make you feel like you are in the story with the characters from page to page. I was devastated with the ending, it literally pulled my heart out.
I am really looking forward to reading the conclusion of this series.

5 stars does not do Justice for this book! It keeps getting better each chapter I read. Once again I will say this book is highly recommended. Must read book one first.

The main character in this story really irritates me. For someone so smart she sure is pretty stupid I mean how could she possibly think she would get away with her plan. She loves Alex she just hates Alex she loves Tristan but is just so cruel to him. I mean come on did she really think that the way she handled things was the best way. I'm honestly not shocked Alex figured her plan the whole time. She really annoyed me. I'm irritated kn the cliff hanger so now I have 2 read the third book I cant stand when a book ends that way. And how Alex's mother was in this story makes absolutely no sense at all. I mean I get she didnt technically raise him but his father was a extramly cruel and crazy sadistic man. I did not enjoy this book much in fact I skipped through some and read the more interesting parts. It really annoys me how a 29 year old is still acting like a 16 year old especially a 29 year old who was a nurse for many years her actions made no sense to me. And Alex's cousin was all over the place also he wanted to be top dog but then promises to go after her if she hurt Alex idk it seems like a fantasy ment for a notebook more then a 3 book series. Much like other reviewers I'm disappointed and this book is not much better then the first story. Also I noticed quite a bit of misspelled words in this book.

5 stars will not do this book justice it is bloody brilliant.
Who is going to survive. when it all ends this book series just got better this one is a bit more darker than the first but what an intense read. it keeps you on your edge of your seat.

Jade has another amazingly gripping continuation of Dev and Tristian's story. The love be they share and what lengths will they go to protect each other!!! Can't wait to see what is next for them.

If you are keeping track with my reviews for this author, for this series, then you know that I have found an undiscovered author that is as good as if not better than the well known Indie authors that are popular now. This books just confirms that I truly have found a great talent that is probably better than many well known and successful Indie authors that we all know and love. It also just makes me fall more deeply in love with this author because while she's demonstrated great talent with her previous books, she demonstrated another thing with this book. She is dark and twisted and I love it. This book still has everything the first two books in this series has: humor, mystery, suspense, hot love scenes, twists and turns, surprises that leave you stunned and drawing you into the story so you feel every emotion, everything. This one has something more. This one adds dark and twisted elements. There are parts that are very hard to read, but I promise you that in the end, when you return to the light, it will be so worth it.
The twists and surprises just keep coming in this book and you never ever see them coming. I'm hard to fool because of my eye for detail but THIS author does it every time, multiple times in one book. She even manages to do this with a fully developed plot that flows effortlessly. There are no plot holes or gaps so how she pulls off her twists and surprises is a true mystery but I'll tell you what is not a mystery. I love it. Everyone has heard the phrase, "everything is not as it seems." Ha! This author takes that to an entirely different level, making it, "Nothing is as it seems." and that's only because of her twists and turns and that's great because she uses this to take you on a ride that you will never forget.
I think this is a book about making sacrifices and being willing to do anything to save someone that you love. We see both DEV and Tristan doing this in this book and the sacrifices that they make is just WOW. I cant really tell you the magnitude of their actions and consequences without giving away spoilers and that's not an option. You just need to one-click but you need to one click the first book first. While you are at it, you need to one click the last book also because you will want to start it immediately. BUT. ONLY if you have no triggers and you like the dark. The author warns you several times and now I am warning you.
The first book, Twisted Fate was primarily Dev's story. This one alternates but it starts with Tristan and it starts with a very dark situation that occurred in the past and it in no way affects the flow and it is not confusing. In fact you will love it because it clears up a few things immediately before it throws you back in the world of mystery and suspense. I love the way it ended. I'm really struggling with deciding to call it a cliffy because there was resolution for each character. For one of them the resolution gave you a chance to get some much needed oxygen to your brain because finally you can stop hold holding your breath and breathe. For the other one, it's a bittersweet resolution because...... NOPE, cant do it. You need to one-click. In the end, this will turn out to be a love story with a miraculous HEA and one that is full of obstacles and sacrifices as well as near misses. Sound familiar. I couldn't help of thinking of star crossed lovers, just like Romeo and Juliet although these star crossed lovers have a much better ending, but just barely. So Yeah my point. Cliffy or not. There is a cliffy for Tristan and Dev, the couple, but it's all good because the final book is available as a 250 page book for only 2 bucks and free with KU.
I think I include this with all my reviews for this author. She writes full length books that is all story and no filler. Her characters are so well developed that they feel real and you become friends with them. The plot is so well developed, you feel like you are experiencing everything that happens. You feel EVERYTHING. Do not skim. There is nothing to skim so if you try, you are going to miss something so that when a twist comes its going to seem like a 'plot hole' or 'plot gap' and I know without a doubt that this book doesn't have anything resembling a gap. I'm a very good and experienced beta reader and I pick on inconsistencies and flow issues such as gaps without even trying. They drive me crazy. I hate them with a passion. So trust me. You will not find them here.

I eagerly started the second book in the series and was as hooked on this one as I was the first!
More twists and turns and a great dark read. Loved how all the characters have developed, how the mystery is evolving and how totally intrigued I am!

Oh my! I am in love with Tristian. I don't even know how to describe how much Ashley played with my emotions in this book.

Mind blowing conclusion to book 1 with book 3 to go. I love all the characters except Alex and I love this author for creating them. Reading one after the others of Ashley's Books and so pleased I stumbled across her.

Packed full of violence, deception, loyalty, and survival this book will definitely keep you on your toes and your emotions running. I am loving this series so far and I am excited to see what will happen next
