Fascinating from beginning to end. I really liked the level of detail and follow-up with story-lines throughout the book. Obviously written by journalists. Not for everyone though, especially those without the slightly obsessive interest in transportation disaster that I have.
A detailed account of the Eastern Airlines Flight 401 crash in the Florida Everglades upon approach to Miami International Airport in December, 1972. Related to the book I just finished, The Ghost of Flight 401, by John G. Fuller, Crash is only about the crash itself, the survivors and victims, and the cause of the crash. My big quibble is that there are no notes to support its countless quotes and interviews with Eastern Airlines' employees nor survivors and their family members.
Eastern Airlines Flight 401 crashed into the Florida Everglades in the 1970s. There is a monument in the spot where the plane came down dedicated to the many who died and the many who survived.
