Claws and Paws
Headlines
"Stop the presses," yowled Theodore Cat, editor of the Claws 'n' Paws daily newspaper.
"Who wrote this headline?" he shouted.
Gertrude Flamingo, who wrote the society page, Frank Beaver, who read each of the day's stories aloud, Caroline Porcupine, who took the type out of its wooden boxes, Humphrey Snake, Morris Squirrel, the Jeremy P. Rat family -- everyone on the staff was baffled and silent. Everyone except Oscar Raccoon, the reporter. He had been trying to get Theodore to stop fussing for just one moment to read his story. But this wasn't the time -- not with headlines that read: SaDeeRoBanks!
The days went on and things got worse instead of better until at last Oscar lost his temper, tackled his boss, and sitting on his editor's chest, untangled the mystery of the mixed-up headlines.
