With time running out as more government leaders are killed, it’s up to expert hacker Tanner Stone to crack the only clue the police have—a note written in ancient Mayan. Few people understand the terrifying, yet realistic threat of computer hacking like Denver Acey. Denver has spent his entire professional career in the information technology industry where he has witnessed and even thwarted actual cyber-crime. From his top-secret job working for the US government to securing computer networks at Fortune 500 companies, Denver is personally familiar with hackers and their unscrupulous activities.
Because of his unique background, Denver decided to pen a book to dispel hacking myths while highlighting the tenacity of cyber-criminals. Utilizing actual hacking concepts and scenarios he experienced firsthand, Denver illustrates -- in a simple way for even the non-techie to understand -- how vulnerable we all are to cyber-crime.
Denver can be followed on Facebook and Twitter, or emailed at aceyauthor(at)gmail(dot)com. He'd love to hear your comments or questions on his books.
This is the third book about the same character, Tanner Stone. I don't think you necessarily have to have read them all, but there are lots of characters that overlap! This book is more of a political thriller than a hacker mystery novel. It was an entertaining read.
Excellent continuity from the authors previous novels.
This is the ultimate future hero. Acer is the best author to play out the possibilities of conspiracy. He ties in everything together in a most interesting manner. Read it in two sittings only because I started to late on the first one and had to get up early the next day. Ps: theres a lot of talk about phony endorsements today, this is not one of them!
