3 Great Stories

Always a fan of Koontz and happy to reread old work for the second time, though doesn't have the same impact.

I find as I get older and grow along with Koontz that the writing style seems a little laborious and lengthy. There are entire pages I've skimmed because the descriptions were just a bit too long. While in some instances I find that he builds up to a scene very well, it can also feel drawn out and tiresome.

Having said that, nothing spells a rainy weekend better for me than a Dean Koontz novel.

This book will appeal to those who enjoy a well written and exciting thriller. The plot was well thought out but could be a little slow in places if I had to provide a criticism.

started ok. the characters are a little lame.
I normally really like this author.
just as I was starting to enjoy it the whole element of the book changes. it seemed rushed. I could almost hear Mrs Koontz shouting "dean. your dinner is ready".
Left me thinking I'd wasted my time reading it.
