For Blizzard, the feeling of betrayal was one he knew well.

His father was a long-time member of the Brothers by Blood MC. He believed the brotherhood came first, even before his wife and child. At first Blizzard didn't even blame his mother for walking out on them. That was until he learned that she’d hooked up with a member of another MC, leaving him behind to deal with the aftermath.
He never thought he would feel that kind of pain again, swearing that his back would never again see the blade of another knife. That was until Rose came along, tempting him, drawing him in and then leaving him on the sidewalk, fighting for his life as she walked away with the enemy.

Rose had spent her whole life wondering where she’d come from.

Her mother had always kept that information to herself, taking it with her to the grave. She was determined to know her history and her father but soon found it wasn't the reunion she’d hoped for. She may have escaped the hands of a madman, but the family she’d been left with still didn't fill the void she had inside.
Rose had made many mistakes, hurting people who cared for her and destroying herself in the process. She was heading down a dark road and returning to the town where she lost herself—and her heart—was never part of the plan. When given the opportunity for redemption and with nothing left to lose she was about to throw herself back into hell. But karma against her, this time there might not be anyone coming to her rescue.

They say time heals all wounds, but time is running out. Could you forgive and forget if it meant the difference between life and death?

Best book yet! And the hottie on the cover does it for me!!! (Paahaha Drew!)

In Chelsea, Rose betrayed everyone, and Blizzard took that hard especially seeing as he had feelings for her (and the fact his life hasn't been a bed of roses <---- see what I did there!!!

But now she is back, and determined to right the wrongs. Someone else from Blizzards past is also back and Rose teams up with them in the quest for her make amends.

This book has it all, angst, passion, humour,  heartbreak, MC life and cute little girls!

We also get introduced to new characters that I NEED to hear more about....Skins....sigh sigh sigh (and yes ladies, I have staked my claim and he is MINE!)

Also, I'll drop this here.....get ready for the twist.....you think you know but OMG you do not! I know, I'm evil....bwaahahaa!

WOW!

Addison Jane is a new author to me, and boy am I glad I discovered her work.
Her writing is amazing.
This is one hell of a good MC romance.
This is a story about redemption, betrayal, second chances and love.
I haven't read Addison's first series, The Club girl diaries, but I highly recommend that you do before reading this one. I will probably start with it in the next few days.
All the characters from first two books can be found in this one so I felt like few parts of the puzzle were missing. Again, my mistake.

I highly recommend it to all MC romance lovers!

Can you come back from utter betrayal?

Can you truly trust someone after they've torn your heart to shreds?

Can you forgive and forget, letting everything go, to move forward to a happy ever after?

These are the questions Blizzard is faced with as he enters this story. Rose, what a beautifully flawed, yet gentle soul she is. We met her in Chelsea: The Club Girl Diaries and her character was brought into question when she turned on Blizzard’s biker club for the sake of her family. A family that is unjust, cruel, manipulative and downright horrible.

 photo 11408308_10101623138190152_467376400_n_zpswsypijpg.gif

Rose was misguided, she made the wrong decisions hurting a lot of people in the process. One of whom, and most importantly - was Blizzard.

When Rose returns, she overhears something in a bar that may be the key to gaining trust back with her friends but, more importantly, unlocking the key to Blizzard’s frozen heart. The one man she could never let go.

Will Rose sacrifice everything she has to gain back his trust, her redemption... his love? Or will she fall in the end leaving everyone broken in the ashes of the burn.

Ahh after reading Laken by Addison Jane from the Phoenix Chapter and seeing the brothers from the main chapter again I just had to re read these books again.

Rose and Blizzards story is incredible, although there story hasn’t been smooth sailing from the beginning. It’s been a rocky road that you didn’t know if they would be able to overcome it.

Due to mistakes that were made by rose and the lies and secrets coming to light. We watch the journey of Blizzard and Rose come back to one another.

But what these two have is something special, by the time these two realise this. It could be too late.

Rose has to get back to the person she was before she had become broken, and sad.

The bond of the brotherhood, drama, lust, love, and of course the lead up to the next books were so exciting.

Beware of Spoilers!

Star Ratings:
Heroine (Rose): 3/5
Hero (Blizzard): 3/5
Plot: 3/5
Grovel: none
Cheating: none
HEA: yes but no epilogue
Triggers: usual MC stuff but no explicit details of anything

Average score: 3/5

Personal Review:
This was an ok MC romance – the plot was a little long but I liked the redemption of the heroine. I didn’t enjoy the secondary characters (mainly Sugar) as much.

Random Ramblings:
-My heart went out for Blizzard when his mum came for a visit
-I fell in love with Jayla, she was such a sweetie!

-I am not sorry that I don’t want to read Sugar’s story…Wrench is too good for her
-Slider was funny

Overall Feeling:
Special message to Rose...

I received this for an honest review and I have to say I LOVED Blizzard and Rose's story...

I have read The Club Girl series and freaking LOVED it!! When I read Chelsea and Rose was introduced I can honestly say that I wasn't sure how I would feel about her story.. After reading this book I can honestly say I LOVE ROSE and her and Blizzards story...

This book just blew me away!! This author makes me fall in love with her characters and this life of the MC she has created. Although this is the start of the new series I would suggest reading The Club Girl series before this one just to see some of the other relationships that you see in this book!!

LOVED LOVED LOVED this book... I was unable and very unwilling to put this down at all while reading so mom's out there I suggest you put the kiddos to bed before you start this one!!!!

This one was knocked way out of the park!!! <3 <3

Rose left a wide trail of wreckage -both emotionally and physically- when she left town. The deception that she turned will not soon be forgiven.

When Rose returns, she overhears a conversation that may be her key to redeeming herself in the eyes of the Brothers and the one man she left behind but could never forget - Blizzard.

Will sacrificing herself for the club get her the redemption that she craves? Can Blizzard see the truth of what she did and finally claim his woman. Can Blizzard, Rose and the addition of a sweet little orphan be the healing that they all need?

This is my confession: Addison has set the bar high for book 1 of this new series.

This series consumes your heart, mind and soul. Blizzard is the best of the series so far and that is with the first two books being five star reads. Blizzard is torn in so many directions. He has convinced himself that he hates Rose after her betrayal to the Brothers by Blood MC but that was easier when she had fled to New York but she has returned to Athens and now he is torn between what his heart wants and what his mind is telling him to do. Rose needs them to all know how sorry she is and that the person who deceived them is not the real Rose. When a dangerous situation presents itself that Rose can help the MC with she stands tall and offers herself to them to help out. Will Blizzard realise before it's too late that he needs to forgive Rose or will he lose the chance. This book is full of love, secrets, suspense and action. This book will make you laugh, smile and cry. You will fall in love with a little girl named Jayla who grabs the heart of the whole MC.

Unsure bc of Rose, but so good!

I was on the fence about this book bc of how deceitful Rose had been, but everyone has a story and deserves second chances if they truly deserve one. So I gave Rose a second chance and boy am I glad I did! Her story was a hard one filled with lies, abuse and manipulation from her father. Blizzard was a man who’d been abandoned and abused by his parents. Together off the charts hot couple! Great Mc reads, twists and turns, drama, heat, family of love not blood and a brotherhood! I can see the appeal as to why you’d want to belong here!

Blizzard is book 1 in The Brotherhood Journals. It is a follow on series to Addison Jane’s The Club Girl Diaries, and although technically separate series they do interlink significantly. For this reason I recommend you read both Harmony and Chelsea before embarking on Blizzard.

Blizzard is the VP of the Brothers by Blood MC and life-long friend of its President Optimus. Having spent his whole life both growing up in and being part of the club, it really is the only life he has ever known. He is thankful and loyal to his brothers and the club because they are pretty much the only family he has ever known. The club and its members showed him what real love and loyalty is, instead of relying on a mother that left him to hook up with another MC, leaving him behind to be dragged up by a man that lives inside the nearest bottle. Having felt the pain and loss of abandonment, he swore he would never form close attachments; Until Rose enter his life. He was mad for her and knew he would never be able to let her go, until she double crossed the club and broke his heart in two.

Rose feels lonelier now than she has ever been in the past. She may have been brought into the heart of her Uncle’s Italian mobster family, being loved by her extended family without question. But she left her heart back in Athen’s when she double crossed her best friend, A club that excepted her and a man that could have been her everything. It doesn't matter that her father mistreated her as much as others, she knows she did wrong and she can’t even begin to forgive herself, never mind expect others to do the same. Faced with having to return, she just hopes she can avoid Blizzard. The hatred in his eyes the last time she saw him will haunt her forever.

What will happen when Blizzard is faced with not just one ghost from his past but two? Will Rose find her redemption? And when death stares the person you want to hate in the face, do you turn your back or do you forget the past and move forward?

I have waited for what seems like ages for this book; in actual fact it has only been a matter of months. Why? Because the ending of Chelsea was a serious humdinger of a cliffhanger. I both loved and hated Rose at the end of that book, but my heart seriously bled for Blizzard; having loved this guy since the original book, Harmony. I did wonder how Addison would make this story work if I'm honest. Let’s face it, Rose did some pretty shitty things to the club. But let me assure you she has delivered and she has done it with a story that twists, turns and opens a lot of doors that you seriously don’t expect to be opened.

It really was another enjoyable read in the world of the Brothers of Blood MC, and one that gave us a few glimpses as to future stories; in particular Wretch and Leo’s which I am really looking forward to. If you enjoy MC reads this is a good one. Not too heavy on blood and gore, but with a bit of violence, club politics, loyalty and the twists and turns that only this genre can deliver.

DISCLAIMER TO MY FELLOW GOODREADER
This review is my personal opinion and may contain: spoilers, quotes, rants and swearing.

Read book #2 of the Club Girl Diaries before reading this rant. Betrayed. This was my first reaction. Like let me hunt this bitch and strangle her for not only being instrumental in Chelsea almost dying but hurting Blizzard too. Then I calmed down. Soaked in the fact she was emotionally and physically abused nearly her entire life. She wanted to be accepted, cherished and loved by her father. She was lied to, betrayed and steered down a dark path. This book will be all about redemption. Blizzard, you stubborn untrusting man, let Rose back in. You both need to heal.

Matthew "Blizzard" is VP of Brothers of Blood MC Athens chapter. He was abandoned by his mother and left to his drunk abusive father who blamed him for everything. This of course has caused Blizzard to trust very few outside his brothers. Recently he was betrayed by someone he allowed close so him. It almost cost the life of Chelsea, former club girl now Old Lady to Optimus (their President). Blizzard was impacted and has not healed, so when Rose suddenly pops back into town he seeks her out. Revenge is on his mind.

"Sometimes we have to take risks. Risks that could result in us being hurt, or laughed at, or ridiculed. It's up to us to weigh whether it was worth it."

Rosalie "Rose" DePalma is the niece of Anthony DePalma who happens to be the head of the east coast mafia based in New York. She recently was manipulated by her father to prove her worth to the family name. Rose wanted acceptance and love so she betrayed her only true friend and the man who could have been more. Months later, she returns to where it all happened. She is stronger and walking the path of redemption. Rose vows to do whatever it takes to right her wrong. Even if she is hurt in the process.

"Sometimes we need to go through hard time in order to find people who are real. The people who are willing to work at it because they know, that in the end, it will all be worth it. The ones who understand that mistakes are made, but that there's a way back."

Um... Excuse me? That ending is not okay with me. Up to my eye balls in these cliffhangers.

Cliffhanger – yes (book #1 of series)

This was a fantastic book! I love how it looks like the series is going to alternate between Club Girls & the Brotherhood Journals every two books or so; makes things more interesting!! There were lots of secrets revealed, a sweet romance, danger at every turn & a few loose ends left to be tied up in future books. Addison Jane really reeled me in with this one!

I LOVED Blizzard. I can totally understand his reluctance to get involved with Rose again but I was oh-so-happy when he did! Forgiving Rose, the love he had for her, the way he was with Jayla, the box of special "things" he got because of Rose at the end... Those are just some of the reasons why he floated my boat.

Even though she betrayed those close to her in the recent past, I liked Rose. She risked it all to help Lane & to prove her loyalty to the Brothers by Blood. Obviously, it was hard for her to come back to the club but I was thrilled that she was willing to do it in order to win not only Blizzard's love but the love of her "family" as well . I just LOVE him & Rose together!

What happened with Edge... I just KNEW that would happen after his confrontation with the Brothers by Blood. Well, part of it anyways. I actually wish things could've been different with him though. I liked his conversations with Rose in the beginning & wish he could've gotten some help for the sorta split personality thing he had going on. I don't know how he would've been forgiven or anything but still...

I was super surprised with what was revealed about Blizzard's mom & other members of Satan's Sanctuary. I'm still a bit confused about some things where his mom was concerned & was disappointed that we didn't get to see a relationship develop between him & Lane... That may change with what they asked of the Brothers by Blood in the end though.

Intriguing development with Hadley... As long as she stays away from Op & Blizzard (which I think she will, being how she's friendly with Rose) it should be fun with her in the clubhouse! I actually wish that her story was next!!

As always though, looking forward to the next book in the Club Girls & Brotherhood Journals series. Bring on Wrench's story!!

Wow from the last page in Chelsea's book I was blown away and the ending just had me shouting at my e-reader.
I was so excited to get this book and to find out the who, what, when's and how's.
This book just took me from the very last page again and I fell in love with it all over again. Super 5 Stars.

Rose was a shell of a person by the end of the past book and to have her fighting to find herself again was passionate and raw rolled into one.
She wanted to be apart of something again but by her own choice and when an opportunity arises she leaps in feet first but wearing her heart on her sleeve.

Blizzard is dealing with issues of his own as well as losing the trust and feelings in Rose that took him by surprise before, family are meant to be strong but with a dad fulling apart and then someone coming back into his life like a tornado he's angry and hurt but feels like the world was on his shoulders with all this.
There's twists in this story that will have you thinking oh I get it then it will have you thinking oh not that Ahhhh! Now I see well maybe Lol.
I love a story that draws me in and wanting to slap the crap out of them to pull there finger out.
I love the near ending of this book it had me thinking Noooo you can't make it like this I wasn't a fan of the way it was going but then advents made it better that I'm now screaming how could you do this to me again...... I love to hate you!

You've given me one hell of a ride so far and it's just keeps getting better, Now the wait begins and oh I see it being well worth the wait.
Easily flows, fantastically written. A must read - but read from harmony to get a better understanding of the whole club and events.

I continue to be impressed with this author's writing. I've become a big fan of hers and this series (although this one is sort of a spin off of the Club Girl Diaries series, but we've already met all the characters). I was wondering how Rose would redeem herself and I was able to find out in her and Blizzard's book. Blizzard is part of the MC where Harmony and Chelsea were club girls, so we're familiar with him. Rose was Chelsea's friend and roommate from the last book and they attended college together.

I have to say, that I think Blizzard forgave her a bit too quickly. He was an ass to her at first, but I felt like the forgiveness aspect happened rather quickly for what she did in Chelsea's book. Speaking of... I was glad to get to see more of the characters from the previous books. I'm so happy for Op and Chelsea and a big WTF for Sugar!?!?! I am clueless as to what is going on there, but I look forward to finding out! I'm not sure when that book releases but I will be reading it. This book wasn't as sexy as her other two but that didn't really bother me. It's definitely an added bonus, but like I mentioned, this author's writing is really solid and her stories are quite unique that I didn't feel the book lacked at all. This is really good MC series for anyone looking for something that is not over the top ridiculous with likable characters (really), lots of club action and a solid story line.

I loved this whole book! Blizzard and Rose and little Jayla! Review on release day!

--

I couldn't get enough of this book, let alone this entire series. At the end of Chelsea, I just wanted to know what was going to happen to Blizzard after the betrayal and hurt that was caused by Rose.

Rose is back and looking for forgiveness and she knows it's not going to be easy after she betrayed the Brothers of Blood MC. She knows she hurt and damaged a lot of people, including her ex-roommate, Chelsea and the man that she began to fall for, Blizzard. But Rose was living in a life that was controlled by her family. She was confused and just looking to do the right thing for her family (or that she thought it was right!).

Rose finds herself back with the Brothers of Blood to help them with an undercover job and the danger that she puts herself can be deadly. Blizzard acts like he doesn't care what happens to Rose, but there something about her and their connection he can't stop caring for her.

As Rose finds herself deep undercover, she ends up getting close to little Jayla (loved this girl!) and Blizzard. As much as she wants to prove how sorry she is, she has a hard time breaking through with him at first.

This book is filled with plenty to twists and turns and always leaves you hanging for more. I loved reading about Prez Optimus and Chelsea and their little girl in this book and looking forward to the next book!

You know where you are stuck in a book funk and nothing takes your interest, you then come across a book that takes you right out of that funk. This is the book that did it for me.

This is the first book that I have read by this author, and I found it to be an excellent read, it was like a breath of fresh air. The writing flowed beautifully and you were taken on a journey about the life of Blizzard VP in the Brothers by Blood MC.

Blizzard is a man that is all about family, he hates betrayal, lies and deceit. He loves his brothers wholeheartedly and will do anything to have their backs. He wants more out of life than the club girls, he shows his loving and caring side when it comes to Jayla, the young girl who lost her mother at such a young age.

Rose is a woman that is so lost, downtrodden and doesn't know where she belongs. She previously was used as a puppet by her father and was often abused by him. She wants a family to love, and after her mother died she went in search of her father, little did she realise the trouble that it would bring and that her family was all powerful.

This is a story of previous betrayals, second chances, love realised and new beginnings.

Addison has written a read that will have you hooked from the very first page and I will be following with interest to as what she writes next.

An new author to me that writes an awesome MC book … it’s a keeper.

Rose has betrayed the club. Her father, Marco DePalma had hurt Chelsea. The trust they had put in Rose got them all stabbed in the back and betrayed. It wasn’t Blizzards first time he was betrayed and he was certain it wouldn’t be the last. Marco’s plan had fallen through but worst of all Rose left people’s lives in ruin.

Rose has returned hoping for salvation from what she did. She tore apart the man she lost her heart to and if she can sacrifice herself to fix him and make him forgive her, then she will do whatever it takes. Rose had never known where she came from. His past was hidden and buried with her mother. Finding out where she came from wasn’t all he was supposed to be. It wasn’t a flower filled reunion .. it was a nightmare.

Holy wow this one is full of suspense, drama, sexy times and much more. There are unbelievable secondary characters that I know we are going to hear so much more from. The story is well written, you can bond with the characters and you will live and die by the words on the pages. This is going to be a great great series. I cant wait to read more.

Thank you for the ARC! Review to post to Ramblings From Beneath The Sheets.

4.5*

I am really enjoying this series. Every book follows on from the last and all the characters follow through, but this book is Blizzard nd Rose's point of view.
Jist like all the other books, this book keeps you reading. Each book has its own series of twists and turns. Sex, drugs, violence...mafia, F.B.I...yeah, it has it all.
The only reason this book didn't quite get 5* for me, was because I felt this book was rushed in bits and the story wasn't as strong as the others. However, it didn't take away from the fact that this is a good series and for that I gave it 4.5*
Rose and Blizzard are adorable together. They've had their fair share of heartache and hurdles to jump. Once Blizzard realised what he wanted he made it clear that Rose was his.
Like all the books they end leave you wondering what is going to happen next.
I look forward to reading book 4.

I'm so pissed if only now seen this!!!!

Honesty this book killed every expectation I had with a bang.

It was brilliant and sad and funny and full of so much suspense and surprise I was hanging on to my kindle for dear life, I just didn't expect it and to be honest I'm annoyed with myself ... I should of known better after reading the previous books in the club girl diaries series, to expect the unexpected with this author. But my god she can write!! She's up there with Lani, Kristen, bella and all my other fav authors because I cannot find one fault with any of her books I just fucking love them!!

I'm not going into detail because honestly it would ruin the book but seriously you need to read it because it's fucking amazballs and I'd give it more stars if I could.

I love love love this book
Blizzard is fab with Jay and with Rose
Thought the twist was fantastic and it was such a great read fast paced and punchy all the way.
This book has so much potential for loads of spin offs Rose's family Angelo for one and also skins and his mc Addison you have so much work I hope the voices do not stop stalking you and glad to see there is a new club girl for her diary.
It was a pleasure to read I would love to see Blizzard's relationship with his family in a future book maybe as a side story.
Can't wait for the next one.

This series keeps getting better. The cliff hanger of book 2 resolved but a whole new can of worms is open with Judge's crew. Trust me... you don't want to miss it. Also, Sugar drops a bombshell on the readers and you have wtf moment.
