Rate this book
It is a time of joy and celebration, of peace on Earth and goodwill toward men. But for Charles, this Christmas season is an unhappy reminder of all he’s lost. He was once a man of some fortune until a devastating fire destroyed his business and left his family destitute. Now, Charles has no choice but to seek out a merciful creditor to ease the burden of poverty. Door after door closes to him, until he sees one last sign: Scrooge and Marley. Feeling a final glimmer of hope, he knows that the fate of his family rests on the mercy of Mr. Scrooge . . . Brimming with warmth and holiday cheer, Changed by Christmas is a timeless tale of determination and hope in the face of hardship, and serves as a sweet reminder of the incomparable power of redemption.

It was a short uplifting read, but not something that I will reread. A more accurate rating for me would be 2.5 stars.

A very tender tale of a man who must approach Scrooge for a loan...

But what the man doesn't know is that Scrooge has already had his ghostly visits.

And that has made him a different man.

A FANTASTIC continuation of the Christmas story we all love.

This is another short, easy read. This one is a sequel to A Christmas Carol, which we find out how Scrooge was the day after that Christmas Eve. Did he really change?

I really enjoyed this short story that is an imagined sequel to "A Christmas Carol". Will definitely re-read each year.
