I was really glad that Bruce found his mate, Lincoln. They were great together and I loved the way that Bruce handled Lincoln's domineering and abusive father. The characters were interesting and I'm excited to read about what happens in the next book. This was excellent. =)
After almost killing his Alpha’s mate Bruce has tried to find a way to prove himself to Caleb and Jack. He does just that by killing Martin. By killing Martin Bruce is the one who has to get rid of all of Martin’s belonging since he does not have a will. He goes into the Real Estate Agency throwing his weight around trying to get someone who is more qualified than Lincoln. Bruce want to be through with everything ever dealing with Martin. While he his yelling at the receptionist to get him someone more qualified Lincoln comes up behind him and says there are other agents that he can use. What Bruce never expected was that the guy he was trying to get rid of and out of his hair was his Mate. Will Lincoln be able to forgive Bruce for all of the harsh things that Bruce has said about him? Will Bruce be able to get Lincoln to trust him? Will they be able to get past everything that is standing in their way?
Fairly enjoyable story with a few little detractors. The MC didn't seem to have genuine or believable reactions to several things in the story including the sudden use of the word "mates" and the appearance of the wolf. I was disappointed that the sex scene we were building toward was so very short, a sort of what-bam-thank-you-Sam. There were some proofing issues with shifting tenses and I thought the shifting perspective between the two main characters was a little distracting. All of this aside, I would definitely read the next book in the series.

Great second story in this series. Love the characters, the storyline and I can't wait to see more. Well written, engaging with some humor. Great start to this shifter series!
It's always hard to read abuse in a story. It's amazing that Lincoln turned out so well. I really like the finishing touch with the dad being thought as crazy.
