Wow! This is the first work that I have read of Guy's although I have been seeing his name appear repeatedly here in my short time on Goodreads. The story is fast paced and exciting. It has a little bit of everything rolled into it: Action/ mystery and romance, a strong sense of Good versus Evil. There are places in the book where the Gospel is clearly layed out. At times I felt the Holy Spirit ministering through the story. The love story's that unfold are exciting, relevant and even made me blush (not in an immoral way). I have to say what impressed me the most was the author's boldness of his faith. We are not left with any question to what he believes, and in my opinion that is a good thing.

A little bit about what went into influencing the story.
- Wow this story has taken a while to write. I always fear that I’m behind in what God wants me to accomplish for His Kingdom and yet He has His own timetable for when things need to be done by. I thank the Holy Spirit (Ruach) for being my teacher and guide. So many ways to go wrong and yet with God and through His Son Yeshua all things are made possible to me. Not really sure where God is taking my writing, but He’s certainly adding more depth to it all the time and I’m grateful. I don’t want to settle for just copying down the elements needed to make up an entertaining story. No, I want to be personally impacted. I want to feel it. I want to learn from it. The odd thing is to do that, as an author, I’ve found is that you end up going through some really dark scary places, but that’s okay, as I’m never left alone there and somehow victory is already always mine. It just has to be claimed. Here’s to another unexpected journey into fiction that bears a lot of resemblance to elements in the life that we all experience and yet perceive differently. Conditions in this world are getting darker for sure, but God is revealing more of Himself and because of that we believers can do more and I hope my story has helped to influence you into seeing that it doesn’t matter where it was that you started out from in your walk in faith, but rather it’s where you choose to let God take you and speaking for myself I never want the journey to stop. I hope you’ll join me. There’s lots of room, but the water can be a little cold at times. I’m promised though that by the time we all reach the end of the journey that everything is going to be just right.

This is another incredible book from Guy. Every time I think I have him figured out, he blows me away with a new story. This one is a great ride.
Guy has practically invented Spirit-filled Speculative fiction. The reality of the daily walk in the Spirit for the characters is such a joy. In speculative fiction, Guy stands alone, so far.
I only wish we had a couple dozen authors with as much courage and such a clear anointing to tell stories of outrageous lives of faith.
He gave me an unencumbered review copy, but I'll buy my own just to have it in the cloud.

This will be the fifth novel by Guy Stanton III that I am reviewing and I find it very hard to start this review. Simply because, like the four before, I am in awe of Guy's ability to create such action-packed, supernatural, spiritual warfare based, Spirit filled, bible based story.
When I got halfway through this novel, Goodreads asked for an update on my reading status, and this is what I wrote,
It has been about 18 months since I last read a Guy Stanton III novel. It has been great to be back in the world he creates. And God was there in more ways than one!! I am blown away by this novel. I will not let time become a barrier again. I have so many of Guy's novels to catch up with. Looking forward to being transported into the Stanton world of fiction where God renews my spirit!
This account sums up my feeling about this novel. I am not going to lag behind reading a Stanton novel again.
Now onto the next Stanton novel!

Fallen Ambitions
There are stories that come along that leave you speechless on how to express how magnificent they are and Fallen Ambitions is one of those stories. I did not want this to end, I wanted to experience more adventures with Victor and Desiree. This book has made me eager to discover more of Guy Stanton's books, I can't wait to go on another adventure with this amazing author.

I did not have much expectations on this one, but after starting reading my interest got up as the action increased. And there were lots of action.

Desiree Adams was once like alot of people stuck in the machinery of Satan's plans with no real way out. All that changed when she accepted The Lord into her life. Now her former masters want to silence her message of hope and encouragement. Desiree knows that she should be dead many times over it's only The Grace of God that she's alive and well today. Desiree needs a bodyguard but only one man fits the bill perfectly~Victor Allienko. Victor never really had much faith in God especially when he's being possessed by demons that serve his masters. Victor's latest job is to kill a Christian woman and her bodyguard. Little did Victor know that his whole world is about to be turned upside down. Can Desiree convince Victor that she's right? This book driving message is one about hope and faith in God. The characters are flawed, real, honest, compelling, and intriguing. The story is well written. The hope brings encouragement and desire to know more about God and His Word. I'll definitely look forward to my next reading adventure from Guy Stanton III.

I was given a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. When I first started "Fallen Ambitions" I wasn't too sure about it. The first chapter seemed...awkward. But I am so glad I stuck with it. Great action, romance, and a wonderful story of forgiveness and faith. There is some editing issues, but that isn't a big deal to me. I give it four stars. I really liked it. I can recommend for ages 17 and up as it contains adult content. No explicit sex, or swearing, there is violence. Good book for guys or gals.

Fantastic read. The story brings you in the very turbulent and eventful life of the main character where you get to witness her relationship with God. The story is borderline shocking at times as it attempts to portray God's almightiness in a world that is beyond corrupted.
