All parts of the Las Vegas serial have been edited with tons of new content and combined into one full length novel. Hooked on You will be available April 29, 2020.

Knox “Knockout” McArthur should be on top of the world. He’s the top fighter in the country, he lives in perfect Las Vegas, and he never has a problem getting women. But, no amount of partying and women can heal the scars from his past. He could never forget Zoey.

Mila Greene is just trying to survive. Granted, her way of survival is not the most conventional, but she does what she has to to support her little sister, MacKenzie. Stripping has become a way of life for her, and she chooses to embrace it. Her worst fear, however, is that Kenz will follow in her dirty footsteps.

When these two’s worlds collide, can they heal each others’ wounds? Or are they just bound to be another scar of the past?

This is a short and hot insta-lovish story that ends with a cliffhanger. The story is nothing new, I’ve read a lot of books with the similar storyline.

The writing is okay but I didn’t have a chance to fully connect with the characters. I really wish the book was a bit longer. Despite its shortness and predictability, Knox and Mila have a great chemistry.

I’m not sure I like Mila very much. I know she’s had a hard time and she’s doing everything she can but I didn’t like some of her inner thoughts and actions.

Knox is a sexy and likeable hero though some of his actions seemed unbelievable to me.

All in all, I wasn’t blown away but it still left me wondering what happens next.

For God's sake!!! What was that ending???
It left me hugging in the best part. Damn!!! I want some more... Right now!!!
Well... this was so fuckin' good!!!
It was hot and steamy and the pages were passing really quick and nicely...
Its only minus was that it was too fuckin' small!!!
God, i need more!!!

Did i just repeat myself???
Oops!!! Sorry, but i can't help it!!!

Knox was an MMA fighter and he was the best in his category.

After the addition of another one winning to his undeafeted status, his best friends is taking him out to celebrate in a stripper club!!!
He's not into this kind of shits. He doesn't need paid naked women to function...
But when his eyes is catching the next show, he is fascinating from the beautiful woman in front of him, and when his friends are catching his interest to her, they are making him a present...
A lap dance from this woman and he is almost losing his mind.
But she refused to give him something more, not even her name!!!

"Nothing here was real. Everything that happened inside these walls was a facade, and the reason it worked was because i never thought differently... I never revealed the real me. Once they knew the real me, the fantasy was gone. I needed to keep my two worlds separate from one another."

Mila is a stripper.

Since her parents death, she is fighting to provide a roof and a good life to her sister who is making Mila's life a living hell. She doesn't need more complications in her life more than already have, so Knox is out of question.
But he is popping out of nowhere in front of her all the time and he is saving the day.
She isn't weak and she doesn't want to be nobody's charity. She doesn't want to owe nothing!!!
Especially to Knox!!!

"When Knox was around, it was too easy to lose one thing that had been a constant in my life. I couldn't give in temptation...
I couldn't allow myself to get comfortable with him swooping in and saving the day. Guys like him didn't stick around for long. I needed to stay strong and be the survivor I'd grown into."

Their attraction is huge from the first moment that their eyes met each other's...

Knox doesn't hide behind his finger, and that is making Mila really scared of her own feelings.
Their chemistry is unique and their dialogues pretty awesome!!!
So what will happen with those two???
Their worlds are miles apart... Will they manage to find a common ground???

Will Knox manage to persuade Mila to stop running away from him??? And will Mila do it since she had a million other problems in her plate with her unruly sister????
There is something more for these two???

"This was so much more. I was feeling things I had never felt before. Wanting things I didn't think I was destined for. I was setting myself up for disappointment, and I needed to walk away.
I needed to end this. And I needed to end it now."

I want to add that i really liked the bond between Knox and his three best friends.

And that i don't know how I'm feeling about Mackenzie.
She was smart and sassy and many times i caught myself laughing with her, but in the biggest part of the book, i wanted to hit her really bad.

She was so unfair and she was acting so malicious and ungracefully toward her sister who was working her ass off to provide Mackenzie everything she could.
I hope that in the next book, she will realize her mistakes and how much Mila have sacrificed for her!!!

This short quick read looks like the start of a super sexy series.

Knox is a top fighter and he's also popular with the ladies.
Mila is struggling to take care of her sister. She meets Knox while she's working as a stripper to make ends meet. Knox feels something with Mila that he's not felt for a long time.

Am really looking forward to reading more of this series. After that cliffhanger I'm hoping we won't be waiting too long. Loved it.

Love meets in all the strange places.

When Knox joins his friends at a strip club to celebrate his win as a fighter, he is bored with the conversation and decides to look at the woman on the stage… little did he know she would have some effect on him.

Mila, the stripper on the stage, is just doing what she has to do to pay the bills and support her 16 year old sister. She doesn’t like to take “charity”, so when Knox helps her out with something… the way she pays him back is “priceless”.

Then you have Mackenzie, who is Mila’s 16 year old sister who apparently hates the world. She is being a rebellious teenager and causing all kinds of problems for Mila.

This is a great start to a series that I know I will truly enjoy if it continues on the track that it is on. It leaves you hanging wondering what is going to happen next, but not to the point that you want to scream because you are left NEEDING to know. It ended at an interesting point that I wasn’t expecting. I am not sure how what happened, happened… so now I want to know more.

The attraction between Mila and Knox is HOT, and Mila tries to run from it, and Knox isn’t going to allow it to happen. I HOPE HE DOESN’T.

I received an ARC of this book from Mark My Words Book Publicity in exchange for an honest review and as part of the book's release promotions.

I have to admit that I haven't read anything from Marie York before. I've read and heard about her but not read from her. I know she writes MMA/fighter romance novels, so I decided to jump in and read this new series. I think I made a good decision doing so because I really enjoyed this book.

Hook is a great way to start the series. We are introduced to the main characters in a way that makes any reader intrigued. Their first meeting was written really well. The development of every character was clear. Even the secondary characters were also interesting. I liked the heroine because she was a woman who was brave enough to do things that other people wouldn't be able to do. Desperate times truly call for desperate measures, but the story showed that the heroine was a great girl underneath.

Some of the things that happened in this book completely surprised me. I think it's a good thing. With all that happened, I am more than excited to get to the next book and find out what's in store for everybody else.

I didn't think I would like this because it is short story but I was pretty surprise that It was really good short book for start of this new year and new series - yes this is a cliffhanger.
Only problem is that the charachters were missing something - connection but hey they had plenty chemistry so I'm looking foward for next book.

Who doesn't love a sexy, hot, dirty mouthed mma bad boy?! I loved Knox! I really liked Mila as well. She is trying her hardest to take care of her younger sister after the loss of their parents. She is strong, independent and hates to rely on others for help. When her and Knox cross paths a spark ignites and she fights to keep him away. The last thing she needs is this wealthy, hot, bad boy to take charge of her life. I have to say I nearly threw my kindle with the ending....major cliffy!!! Thank god the next book comes out in about 10 days!

Mila has been doing everything she can to provide for herself and her younger sister since their parents passed away. She strips because so far, that is the job that comes closest to paying their rent and bills. Her sister is 16 and her behavior makes life even harder for Mila. Knox is a professional MMA fighter, with a difficult past of his own. He is an extremely successful fighter, but he hasn't been interested in any relationship. When Mila and Knox first meet, they are very attracted to one another, but Mila doesn't have time for a relationship, and isn't about to date a client. Knox is confused because he feels a desire for Mila that he doesn't feel for other women.

This is a quick read and ends on a pretty dramatic note. Mila is a character who is easy to sympathize with. She doesn't have the luxury of putting her own needs first, and she's been struggling for a long time. It was nice to see her getting some of the help she really needs and deserves. Knox is also pretty easy to like because while he is an arrogant celebrity fighter, he is nothing but helpful and kind to Mila. Their chemistry is strong and I'm hoping they will be able to figure out how to be together. There is a lot of insta-everything here, so if that isn't something you can buy into, this will be tough. Knox is pretty invested in Mila pretty quickly, and while Mila is attracted to Knox, she is always aware of her own responsibilities. I am interested to see where this story goes, and what happens next.

Oh my goodness! Marie has done it again!!

This time she brings us bad boy on the outside, but a good guy in the inside, Knox MacArthur. He's at the top of his game, on top of the world, nothing and no one can bring him to his knees. He doesn't need a serious relationship, women just get in the way. Fun for a night is all he's into.

That is, until he sees her.

Mila is just trying to make a buck to keep a roof over her head and food on the table for her and her sister. She's got too much going on to need to tangle up with anyone, let alone the sexy man that just walked into her place of business.

It was supposed to be one dance, no strings, no real names. But Knox is taken with Mila and vows to get to know her.

The more he gets to know Mila, the more attracted he gets. And now life is going to get real complicated when he discovers something that will devastate Mila. So what happens next? Only time will tell.

I am loving to get to know Knox and Mila. Both have a past that shaped them into the people they are today. Knox is a bad boy with a heart of gold. There is something about Mila that draws Knox to her.

I love Mila's determination to provide for herself and her sister. She may not dreamed this is the way her life would turn out, but she'll do whatever it takes to make ends meet. She's also feisty with a capital F! She gives as good as she gets.

I can't wait to see how this story will unfold.

This is one of those that ends right when it's getting to the good part, and I can't wait to see what happens in the next volume.

Knox is the hottest champion on the MMA circuit, and Mila is the girl working the stage, who can't catch a break. Circumstance is determined to keep putting them in one another's path. When Knox sees a disguised Mila working in the club, he feels a connection though he doesn't need the distraction a relationship of any sort brings. Mila is trying to make ends meet, but taking care of her 16 year old sister after her parents' death is providing more burdensome than not... Especially when the "little sister" in question is a complete PITA. Will Knox be able to save the day or is he getting in over his head with these two?

If you like a hero who isn't afraid to go after what he wants when the heroine is trying hard to avoid an entanglement, this might be the book for you!

~~I received this in exchange for my honest opinion~~

Not only does this book and an MMA fighter, but it has strippers in it. I love reading Marie's work. She always writes with a little bit of a twist. This book is no different. Once I started reading this book, I couldn't put it down. I can't wait until the second part of this book. I need to know what is going to happen. You will love reading this series!!

Marie writes great stories. I never can seem to get enough of her writing. Hook is no different. I find it different than the other fighter series that are out there. There is more emotion to this book. Pick up this book!!

This is an amazing written book. I feel in love with Knox and Mila. Knox is the hot alpha male we all dream of. Mila is that sassy chick that had to grow up and take life as an adult on way to soon in life. Mila is just trying to keep a roof over her head and Mackenzie. Mila took on stripping to prove for them, trying to give Mackenzie a better life then she has taken on. Mila life is going along good until some hot MMA fighter walks into it and stirs up feeling that Mila has buried deep.
This was a fun fast read that leaves you wanting more. Let me tell you I love cliffhangers and this book does just that. I am Looking forward to the next one in this series.

If you looking for a short but Hot story then this is the book for you.
Mila is a single parent bringing up her 16 year old sister, money is tight and every day is a struggle. Mila works as a stripper just to make ends meet and keep a roof over their heads.
Knox is a wealthy MMA fighter who is on top of his game.
When these two come together after a chance meeting sparks fly and although Mila is independent Knox starts to wear her down.

I enjoyed this book and it was a really quick read, can't wait for the next instalment.

I love me a fighter romance and this one did not disappoint!

Knox was like one big oxymoron: sweet and nice outside the cage, and a badass alpha on the inside. Mila was the most misunderstood stripper, and Mackenzie was my personal favorite character because she was such a brat.

But holy wow. That cliffhanger! I normally despise them, but this one totally threw me off. Just an FYI, it is a part of a serial, so it's a shorter book with a cliffhanger, but definitely recommended!

I was given an ARC of this book to review ....

I'm generally not a fighter series fan but something about this book stood out to me before I even started reading it.

Knox is the current UFC world champ and while fame, money, and women come easily to him, outside the ring he's a quiet, down to earth guy. After winning his latest fight, three of his best friends take him to the Honey Pot, the local strip club for a night of debauchery. Strip clubs aren't Knox's thing but he humors his friends. A stripper in a school girl uniform comes onstage and there's something about her Knox can't resist. His buddies notice the attraction and request a private dance for him from the school girl. "Star" (Mila) instantly feels something for Knox after looking into his eyes and clearing seeing there's more to him than a big bad fighter. Mila has a strict 'no touch' policy when she's entertaining these men but she grabs his hands and puts them on her hips. After a half hour of them getting hot and heavy she gets up to leave but Knox tries to make her stay. She tells him in his dreams and walks out the door hoping to never see him again.

Mila goes home where she's taking care of her sixteen year old sister MacKenzie after their parents died. Up until a couple months ago things were going smoothly but now MacKenzie is being a typical bratty teenager. One afternoon when Mila goes for groceries she discovers that money was stolen from her wallet she goes to ask the cashier to hold her items but there's someone to her request ... Knox. After promising to pay him back Mila hopes that's her only interaction with him. She knows he's her weakness but she doesn't want to find out. After a private performance to pay back Knox, Mila again finds herself at the mercy of him when she's trying to bail MacKenzie out of jail.

For being a short story I thought this flowed very well. It was full of just enough background charters to keep the story fun and entertaining. The character development of both main characters was well done, giving enough background to understand why they are both so guarded. Mila is one strong ass woman, she might strip but she's not some weak, easily won over girl. Knox has a heart of gold under his fighter exterior and would clearly do anything for people he loves.

I'm excited to see where this story goes ... the cliffhanger was OMG! Can't wait!

HOOK by Marie York, there are no words, this book is hot and just when you think it can't get any hotter, the book ends and leaves your jaw on the ground.

The story in this book is very well written and well developed and the plot is very fast paced that before you know it you will find yourself at the end of the book and you will be like what just happened. The characters in this book are very well written and have amazing chemistry from the moment they meet, Mila and Knox will be perfect together once Mila realizes it and lets Knox in.

Knox out for a night on the town with his friends to celebrate his latest MMA win and he finds himself at a local strip bar, Knox does not usually like spending time in the strip bars, but that's where his friends wanted to go. From the moment Knox sees Mila he wants her, and his friends arrange for him to spend some "private time" with her, which only increases Knox's wants. Mila wants nothing to do with Knox, she has been doing it on her own for years, taking care of her younger sister, but struggling every step of the way. once Knox turns up in her life at the bar, he seems to turn up every where every time she needs rescuing. Slowly but surely Mila lets Knox into her life, but she never really lets down all of her walls. I cannot wait for the next book in the series, Knox and Mila's story is going to be one heck of a bumpy ride.

Hook by Marie York was my first read by this author, I have all of her books on my kindle but life has got in the way and I have not had time to read them, but after HOOK sucked me I will be making time to read the rest of her books. I would give HOOK 4/5 stars.

Hook is the first in the series and it does end with a cliffhanger.

Knox is a huge UFC fighter, he's the champion and watching strippers isn't his thing. However after a big fight, his friends want to party. What he doesn't expect is to find Starr...Mila. The attraction is instant and not just because it's all out on display. There is something about her that pulls him and he has to find out why.

Mila is doing all she can to survive and keep her sister safe with a roof over her head. Knox brings out the lust and desire in her body, but with him she can't be in control and she needs that to keep going. She's used men before to get what she wants and she's not ashamed, but Knox there is something about him that could ruin her.

Both have their secrets, both have their issues. Mila's sister is pushing the limits and creating a lot of stress for Mila forcing her to do things she normally wouldn't do. It's quite a good quick read and can't wait for the next one.

A great start to this series.

Knox is a successful, MMA fighter, who is focussed on being the best of the best. A visit to a strip club focuses his attention on sexy and sultry stripper, Mila. Mila hates stripping but it is the only way to earn to keep a roof over her and her sister's head after their parent's death.

Knox is a great guy and not arrogant as you would expect. His kind hearted nature comes through time and time again. Mila is down on her luck and doing everything she can for her and her sister. Unfortunately, her sister, Mackenzie, is an ungrateful, selfish, spoilt brat who continually puts Mila down.

The surprises along the way mean that this series will continue to pack a few punches as it develops. This will be a hellva of a ride. Fast paced, full of conflict and drama and well written. I became completely immersed in their story and am already ready for the next instalment.

I received this book from Net Galley in exchange for an honest review.

Unfortunately, this book needs some serious editing. The story has some potential, but the author basically just tells us everything instead of showing us. The love story felt way too fast. I don't mind when the story isn't completely realistic, but this didn't even feel close to real. I'd love for this author to find a good editor and revamp this story. I think it was a great idea. The story was short, but cliffhangered.

gets even better. I loved everything about this book and couldn't believe I was done when I was. This is gonna be one hell of a series. Thank you Marie York for such a great read.

I really liked this book. Super quick read. I like that Mila is confident but still vulnerable whereas Knox is badass but not reckless! They are so cliché, a fighter & a stripper. But because they both have this pain they hide they are perfect together. Hate that it ends on a cliffhanger though.
Can't wait for the second book!

I really liked this book but it didn't capture me like I thought it would. The characters flowed well together but there was just something missing in the POP parts for me. This author did a wonderful job though it wasn't quite the blow me over book.

Its fast paced and easy to get into. Hotness too
