*Edit 2020 All parts of the Las Vegas serial have been edited with tons of new content and combined into one full length novel. Hooked on You will be available April 29, 2020.
Mila Greene's sister is everything to her, even if Mackenzie doesn't think so. After her parents' tragic demise, she's all she has left. She needs Knox, but the guilt she secretly harbors may be the thing that keeps them apart.
For Knox McArthur, fighting is life. His coach is family. His gym is home, and he'll do anything to protect it. But, how can he also protect Mila from everything she's threatening to destroy?
After the cliffhanger of Jab, I couldn't wait to read this last part of the trilogy. There were a few questions that were finally answered (exactly what happened to Mila's parents and brother), some closure for Knox, the MMA title, and Mackenzie's whereabouts. But I felt like this installment was rushed. I found it a bit odd that Mila was the one Knox turned to in his grief, seeing how much time had passed since that day she said those hateful things to him in Jab. I think I would have preferred a different scenario for them to find their way back to each other.
While I appreciated the fact that Mila finally realized how much her actions affected Mackenzie, I didn't quite agree with her decision at the end of the story, but after reading the preview, I can't wait for the Miami series to be released.
Holy moly, Marie has a total knockout on her hands.
Takedown is the final installment in the Las Vegas Series and Mila and Knox have both been beaten.
Knox is recovering from his lose. He's lost his fighting spirit and his heart is broken. He'll have to do a lot of soul searching to figure out what he wants to do now. (Be sure to have some tissue handy!)
Mila is reeling after learning of her sister's extra curricular activities and now being unable to find her is killing her. She's searching everywhere, but the more she learns about Mackenzie, the more she realizes that she doesn't even know her. Now that she's lost her sister and the life she thought she was living, she'll have to decide what to do next.
Can these two work through their pain and find a way back to each other? Will Mila be able to find Mackenzie?
This book is a rollercoaster of emotions. We get to the heart of both Knox and Mila, and it's heartstopping. Tears are shed along side them, you will feel their pain. But with great pain, comes great happiness. Knox and Mila deserve some happiness after the hardships of their lives. Mila and Mackenzie's relationship is forever changed, hard to say if it's for the good or bad, but that's life. I've enjoyed the journey and fell in love with Knox and Mila.
*****ARC provided for honest review****** WOW! She did it again! This was the craziest ride and as soon as you fell like you know where it is going, it takes a turn. I thought for sure I knew how this was going to end but man was I wrong. I don’t want to give it away so I will stop there. Mila was as always very endearing, the love she had for her sister and her parents was just overwhelming her determination to find her sister was just heartbreaking to read. While most heroines would be focused on fixing the relationship she really let that go and focused on what was important. That you have to respect her for. Then Knox OMG, I was ugly crying when ***died. I am leaving that without even a spoiler because there is no way I giving that away. I just had no words, and when he shows up for comfort holy man that was the topper. I loved to see that good guys do finish first sometimes, and I can’t wait to see how Miami unfolds. I know purposely vague, but so worth the read, I don’t want the review to spoil it.

This is the third and final book in Knox and Mila's story, it was just as good as the first two.
In this book Mila spends it working and searching for her sister who ran away when secrets were revealed. Mila tries to go to Knox, but he is in what he sees as his own personal he@# after losing his title fight. Knox wants to give up after losing, but his coach, who is like a father to him pushes him into training again for another fight.
This book ties up all lose ends between Knox and Mila, but we still spend the book wondering: will Knox and Mila end up together?
I will also warn you there is a point in this book that will require a Kleenex or two.
Cannot wait for Mila's sister, Mackenzie's story to come out
Mila is still reeling from the discovery of Mackenzie's secret. Now that she knows Knox had a part of it, he's the one she runs to. He however has just lost everything and doesn't care. Or at least while he's drunk. the things Mila said to him about Zoey, he can't forgive her.
Months have gone by and no Mackenzie. For Mila she's struggling to get through. With some soul searching Knox is back on his game, and a sudden loss will bring him to Mila once again. But with a title on the line, Mackenzie still missing, what will happen?
Readers are better off either buying all 3 books at the same time or borrowing them at the same time and reading one right after the other. Because broken up as they are...it's more of an annoyance. And it would be so much better as a novel rather than 3 little parts.
