Finally a new book by this author and what a book!! Carissa and her coven run a nightclub so they can try to stay hidden from the Hunters who are after them. She knows they need to recruit to help them fight but it's hard to find the right people. Then she meets Noah and the attraction is instant but will she give in to what she wants?
Once again the author tells a tale that holds the reader in its grips until the very end and leaves them wanting more. Great story line and characters with the heat her readers have come to expect. Can't wait for the next book!!

It's felt like FOREVER, since I've gotten to read a Nicole Garcia book & "Bitten" was just what I needed. I love how Nicole can change genres so readily & keep her style of writing true to each genre. As a vampire anything fan, I couldn't wait to sink my teeth into this... hehehehehe, Nicole didn't disappoint at all. Hot, steamy, a little action, in & out of the bed, then a love story interweaved throughout, kept me transfixed from start to finish. I'm not sure what else I can say without spoiling the book for everyone else.
Thank you Nicole for this delicious Vampire book, I can't wait for the next in this series & in your other series.

ARC for an honest review
This book was over too fast. Great, fantastic, but over too fast. I wanted more especially after a glimpse of Gia and the other girls. I want the next book now!
Yeah, I know it's not possible but that doesn't stop me from wanting more. Sigh. I will wait, but just because I love this author and her books.

•••I listened to the Audible Audio Edition of this book•••
The dual narration of this book was incredibly impressive. Both voice actors are very talented and kept me enthralled from beginning to end! I can't wait to listen to more performances by them :)

WOW what a book totally different spin on vampires and their story, i love the fact that it is a powerful woman in charge trying to rebuild the community. It’s well written with some hot steamy build ups to and all out sex session, personally i love to read the build ups and sexual tension prior to them getting it on as it makes the story more believable and gets you hooked into the story waiting to finally get it on. It’s a fast paced story giving you enough details from the past to ensure you know the back ground story, which is driving them forward with the emotions behind the decisions made. The leading man I sweat kindhearted hunk of a man called Noah, can Caressa turn him into a warrior, will he be hers and only hers or will he be like all the male vampires she has ever known.
I can’t wait to read the follow ups as i think their story has so much potential and can’t wait to see what happens with the hunters.

I received a free copy, in exchange for an honest review. I love everything vampire so I jumped at the offer. What I like about vampire books is everyone has a unique way of describing them and their “powers.” This book did not disappoint.
I can’t say too much about this without giving too much away. The main character owns and operates an underground bar and has a very entertaining way of life. Bitten is a quick and smooth listen/read and great for a day at the beach or short road trip.
I didn’t find it to have a lot of erotica, but I don’t care much for that so I love it. If you are into that, you may be a little disappointed, but it IS a great book.
Overall, I loved it and rate it with 5 Boundless Stars....Beth

OMG what a fantastic read by Nicole Garcia. With intrigue and sexiness, I couldn't put it down. A fast read that will leave you wanting more. The Vampires are being eradicated by The Hunters, humans that are trained to hunt them down. Forced to keep inside Caressa and her small coven are surviving in a night club by luring in customers so they can feed, to build up their strength, to convert more vampires to fight off The Hunters. When Noah brings by a wine delivery, Caressa is immediately attracted to him and it is mutual for Noah. When he keeps coming by, Caressa is having difficulty fighting the desire she feels. She also has to keep her coven safe, but can she let her guard down? I thoroughly enjoyed this book and hope you will too.

This book was my first audio. I enjoyed it from the start. It was just a taste of a vampire story that give as you that desire.

okay so now i have 3 favorites of Nicole's.... this, the haunting and cupid! Carissa and Noah are electrifying together! As much as they are drawn to each other, you will be drawn to this book! It is really a story you can sink your teeth into! (pun fully intended lol) The writing is awesome, the characters are to die for, and the formatting is great as always! Nicole always seems to create books that completely draw you into their world, it is awesome!

This is book 1 in the Club Blood series. Caressa is in charge of her coven of vampires and has been taking care of them for a long time. Her coven is made up of all women and they now are looking for big guys to turn and make an arm to protect them. Noah is big, hot and everything Caressa could want in a man. But she does not want to turn him and lose the sweet guy she has come to care for. This is a wonderful story, looking forward to the next in the series. Yummy!!

Doing what anyone would do that has to take over the lead role of a group, Caressa does her best to protect her little coven and provide for them and herself. It is one difficult task. In walks Noah and that task may just get that much harder for Caressa and her sisters.
This book is fun and sweet. It is a fast read, but it is very well worth it. I loved it. This is a definite must read!

Hottt!!!!
This was an enjoyable read, and you feel the inner turmoil of the main character, as well as fall for her love interest. If you don't you're broken. He is sweet, sassy, and attractive. This is a sexy tale with humanized Vampires. How can you go wrong(I know, but this isn't Twilight)? Just pick up the story, and get Bitten!

I received this novella in exchange for an honest review.
I would have purchased this story if I knew about this book. Looks like I am going to have to go through Nicole Garcia's catalog to figure out what else she has been hiding from me.
Let me just start off by saying I love me some Nicole Garcia. She is an amazing writer and also just an amazing human being. I had no idea who this amazing writer was until this year. Her writing style is great. This book is short and sweet and to the point. When the story opens we see the heroine, Caressa, ready to fight for her coven and for her life. After her coven gets destroyed Caressa takes on the role of being Mama Bear to a handful of vampires left over from the massacre.
The hero, Noah, is your typical alpha male. He is caring, sweet, and knows what he wants in life. I enjoyed the pairing between the hero and the heroine. Since this is such a quick read there are times where I wanted more information. It is like we just get the bare bones of what is going on and it doesn't go in depth. I wish this was a book verses a novella. The good thing about this being a novella is that each new novela we will get more and more information about the coven itself and also all the characters that we were introduced to.
There are two novellas in the series so far however I really hope that each character gets their own story. Also I would like to know more about the vampire hunters. I'm not into the whole killing for killing sake however I want to know if it's a secret society or if you have to be sponsored into it or if it's like a family tradition.

I read this book as part of the anthology Vampire Romance Boxed Set: For the Love of the Vampire which I received an ARC copy of in exchange for my honest review.
This book ends abruptly, but I'm not sure I'd necessarily call it a cliffhanger. This was a relatively fast-paced one. The sequence of big events just seem to come one after another in quick succession. While the series for which this is book 1, Club Blood Erotic Short, has 'erotic' in the title, I would not describe this book as erotic. There are a couple of sex scenes that are relatively explicit, but I'm not sure they go so far as to fit into the erotica category. Carissa (vampire) and Noah's (human turned vampire) relationship is very quick. She is the leader of a small clan of female vampires fighting for survival. Noah is a man instantly enchanted with Carissa who has no family and what appears to be only one friend to leave behind. He seems like an all around good guy. I think what I particularly liked is that, when Noah wakes up, he isn't like the male vampires Carissa knew in the past (sexual appetite, rage, change of person, etc.). He has a couple bouts of rage, but then he gets control of himself and all is well between the two. I would be very interested in continuing this series. I give it 4 stars.

This is a first for me by this author and I am hooked. I love how the story doesn’t drag. Even being a short story it was full of all the meat you want when you need a back story and a present.
Caressa is a lonely vampire, who wants love but she is trying to keep her coven safe from hunters. She needs to keep her coven feed without making a big show of it. So they open a Club Blood. A night club where if you go home with a little less blood, you wouldn’t notice because you were too drunk to remember.
Caressa is also on the lookout for strong males to possibly turn to help/join her coven to protect them from the Hunters.
Noah is a delivery man who drops off a shipment of wine. He catches Caressa’s eye, and he hers. The first meeting makes me smile.
"I am so sorry I am such a spaz." LOVE it!
She fights the attraction because she feels like she would have to share him and she is so not cool with that.
Noah is lickalicious! The way Nicole describes him makes me want to be a fly on the wall when they have their first kiss holy flames!

I have never listened to these narrators and I have to say I enjoyed their performance.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
Almost near the end after Noah is transformed. At first he is very angry and then he realizes what has happened.

I was gifted a copy of this audible for my honest review. Please note its a short read/listen but pretty powerful. Very well written and clear voiced audio.

I have never listened to these narrators and I have to say I enjoyed their performance.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
Almost near the end after Noah is transformed. At first he is very angry and then he realizes what has happened.

I was gifted a copy of this audible for my honest review. Please note its a short read/listen but pretty powerful. Very well written and clear voiced audio.

I was provided this book for an honest review.
After nearly being wiped out by the hunters . Carissa and her coven fight to survive while hiding from the hunters that want to extinguish their race. This was a gripping book. While reading this book I couldn't help but to be sucked into the story. I loved this book and I would definitely recommend it to my book friends. I cant wait to read the next one.

First off I always enjoy a good Vamp story & this was a quick but good read. I have this as an audiobook and a smirk on my face throughout the reading. Noah is what you would want a man to be, completely understanding and knows what he wants. Caressa is the one in charge and the boss at "Club Blood" it's nice to see her adjust and change what she's known for so long and venture a bit. It was steamy and I had a few giggles too. It was a good book and happy I was able to read it.

This was a great little , part steamy, vampire novella part of "For the Love of the Vampire" box set. Fast action obviously and more enlightening in means of " turning" humans it was a fun 3 hr read .

Bitten had me gasping in shock, laughing out loud and nearly crying at times! I really enjoyed Caressa and her crew and seriously enjoyed Noah. I can't wait for the next book! This is a fun read!

I received this story (audiobook version) for free for an honest review.
I think the only aspect of the this story that I can agree with the other reviewers on is the fact that this was a fast-paced story. Other than that, this was a really bad story. I'm baffled by the all the five stars; it's as though they all read, or listened to (audio book version), a completely different story than I did. I've read plenty of vampire related stories as well as ones involving erotica. Needless to say, this story can't even compare. I hate leaving bad reviews but wow....
Questions/Comments:
The cover? Bad. It made me think of a horribly made, or written in this case, cheesy horror movie.
I found it strange that right at the beginning of the story we’re introduced to the leader vampire of the coven. And what is she doing? Whining. She doesn’t seem to even know what’s going on. How did she end up being the leader? She’s obviously not a good one, hence, they’ve been struggling to find food.
How do the vampires have tons of money, yet have trouble getting food? I can’t figure that part out.
So the vampires have powers, yet they don't seem to use them. Can they even put humans into trances? I don't know. You'd think they would since they bite the human's thigh. But it's never mentioned.
The best way to prove you’re a vampire is to either pull a cabinet door off the cabinet OR crush a mug. Right. She couldn’t have shown him her teeth? Something?
If the vampire/hunter war had ended one hundred years’ prior, what the heck had the six remaining vampires been doing all that time? The leader mentions how all she does is plan for their future? Sure. Why hadn’t they created male vampires to help them years ago, decades ago? At the end Gia states that they have enough to worry about with the vampire hunters…I guess I just don’t understand this story. They’re vampires with powers, yet they don’t do anything. They hide away and that’s it.
The best line involved them saying how there were only so many people they could reach through the internet. Lol That had to have been one of the worse lines, given the situation, that I’ve ever heard. Yes, because the internet is so limited when it comes to reaching out to people. lol
I still don’t understand why they couldn’t leave the club. How long had they been living above/below it? I get the hunters were out and about, and there were more of them than there were vampires, but I doubt they have these large groups of them patrolling together. The stranger part was that they don’t know whether the hunters know if they’re even there or not.
The “Club Blood’ idea was very questionable considering they’re trying to stay under the radar. Plus with there being only six vampires left, the hunters had to have known there weren’t many, hence, no vampire related deaths or injuries.

I really enjoyed this short story! It was sweeter than I was thinking it would be, but it had some spice. I listened to the audiobook version, and I thought the narrator did a decent job, and there was also a male voice for a couple parts, which wasn't my favorite, but it was still okay. In this book, Caressa is a vampire, who is trying to keep the remaining people in her vampire coven safe from hunters after her "master" got killed, her coven is made up of the remaining female vampires. They have bought a nightclub to help them have access to their food source of blood, and hopefully stay hidden from the hunters. One night, Caressa meets Noah and feels very attracted to him, but he is human, so she doesn't want to put him in harms way, and she doesn't have a good idea of male vampires, so she doesn't want him to change, or to bring him into her world, and she also needs to think of protecting her coven, so she tries to deny her attraction to Noah, but Noah won't let her turn away from him. I liked that Caressa is a strong woman with a bit of a wall up because she actually has a sensitivity to her. Noah and Caressa are really cute and adorable together, and there is some hotness! The majority of the book is about Noah and Caressa working out how they feel for each other and what they want to do about it, but there is also a bit of action that added some extra excitement, and this story is a short one, but I felt like I really got a sense for the characters and the type of world this book is set in. I'm definitely looking forward to reading more books from Nicole Garcia and more books with these characters!
