Ailsa, who is also an experienced hypnotherapist provides you with the knowledge and tools you need to take control of your life and ensure that it follows a more positive direction - the direction in which you want it to go. From the moment you start reading this book you will begin to change the way you think as the creative techniques will free your mind from negative rigid thoughts patterns. The book has been developed to ensure you gain an 'I can do it' attitude and then apply the tools to each area of your life. Included are inspiring case studies and anecdotes which will help you understand how you too can change your life for the better.

Ten years ago when Ailsa started working in therapy she found few people would admit to being stressed but in recent years she finds most people openly talk about stress and how it impacts on their lives. "With the recent recession and people living more pressurised lives I know it's the right time for this book to give them a bit of support to get themselves back into the positive again" says Ailsa. She combines her techniques and extensive experience with clients mixed with common sense to teach you how to help yourself. This book is about letting go of the negative and getting into the AMAZING zone, learning to manage your life better and sorting through the things you need to change.

If you are at the beginning of the path of positive thinking, this book can be a good start of this type of attitude, so that first of all, you will get rid of your negative thoughts and mental ruminations. But if, like me, you have been reading in this field for years and you are working on yourself, it will definitely be a boring book because not only is it not specialized (of course in my opinion), but the content is superficial and repetitive with similar books. It can be a good book as a book to read one chapter every night to be a reminder to be in the present moment and intensify the good feeling before sleep! The author of this book, who is a hypnotherapist, did not say anything about the false pressures that negative thoughts put on our body and mind, and since the human psyche is very complex, it should be fundamentally treated; This will also be possible with the help of a specialist psychotherapist, otherwise, simply repeating positive and motivational sentences is not enough... but if we only rely on hypnotherapy audio files and motivational sentences; Not only will we experience a good mood for a limited and transient time, but after stopping these techniques, we will experience more frustration, disappointment and depression. So I recommend this book to you if you are the first to think positively and intend to. Continue this way by studying more and more specifically...

A waste of paper. I've never been less inspired by a self-help book.

Honestly nothing in there worth reading and clearly not enough content to fill a book. Imagine someone telling you for 200 pages to just feel amazing 'just because' without any research or any actual real information on how to DO it. This is like when influencers think they can be life coaches.

Disclaimer: While I aim to be unbiased, I received a copy of this for free to review.

I have mixed feelings about this book. The concept behind it is noble, and I must admit that I’ve found myself attempting techniques from this book much more often than I have from other self-help books, but I have been doing it in a tongue-in-cheek kind of way.

The essential premise here is that due to the power of positive thinking, you can make amazing things happen by always thinking that amazing things are going to happen. In some ways, I do think that’s true – it’s like how a man who walks into a job interview convinced that they’re going to get it will end up acting more confidently and therefore increase his overall chances, a bit like a self-fulfilling prophesy.

The problem is, I’m a cynic, and so even when I start out with the best intentions to try to think of a bad situation as amazing, I inevitably end up lacing my thoughts with sarcasm. Oh, I’m double-booked at work again? Great. Fucking amazing.

But this is just the cynic in me coming out, and if you’ve had previous success with books like this before then you’re on to a winner here. Different things work for different people, and whilst this wasn’t 100% for me, it was at least well-researched and eloquently written!
