Max didn't consider himself a coward in any way. Thus, he would endure the stress of possibly one day losing Ethan in order to enjoy the privilege of having Ethan now.

Most wanted is the fifth installment of the Sin City series. Things get heavier and more serious with Max's inner struggles, while he wants Ethan all by himself, Max still feels insecure and is not sure about the future with his lover. I got frustated by some issues in this book occasionally, but some are so splendid in their relationship that make it more interesting and if they could find their HEA in the end, it would be phenomenal.

Mr. Tall dark and handsome

I appreciated the twist Owen put me through, it was kinda shocking and unbelievable to see that some people can do anything to possess what they want. Regarding the MCs, I still insist that I like Max so much because his complexity fascinates me all the time while I was reading this book. Ethan is a typical man for me and if it was not for Max, this series would be boring af.

This was better! I liked seeing this side of Ethan and Max, and I hope to see their relationship deepen. Max being vulnerable is nice.

The bad guy here was both surprising and not. I knew the guy was bad news and crazy, I just didn't know how far it went.

3 stars and I finished this in one sitting.

“Ethan was as hungry for Max as Max was for him, and that was very powerful - and gratifying - knowledge to have.”

This book is hot!! So far this is my favorite in the series!! I loved the suspense and overall chemistry between Max and Ethan in this book! There seemed to be a twist at every turn, which really pulled me into the book! Max is starting to redeem himself in my eyes, slowly, but hey it’s a start right? I’m really starting to love this series!!

4.5 stars review by The Blogger Girls.

Ethan and Max are tested in more ways than one in this installment. For starters, Ethan’s latest assignment is protecting a TV star/children’s author and his young son while they are in Vegas doing book signings. Seems pretty cut and dry, but being around a young child has made Ethan think of the possibility of having that with Max. With the subject of marriage already having been on their table and not going extremely well, this just adds to that tension.

Ethan and Max struggle a bit with their limitations (i.e. their relationship being so strictly closeted with no visible chance of that changing, the marriage/kid issue and whether that is something that will ultimately come between them, or whether they will be enough for each other). I love how they are having to deal with these issues and insecurities and loved seeing how it all panned out.

There is also the introduction of another man, who wins a date with Max at the auction. It seems they are dealing with an infatuated stalker situation, but there are some twists and connections involving this that really turn things around.

This continues to be a very interesting, fast-paced story that is wholly keeping my interest. I can’t wait to see how these guys ultimately end up and am thoroughly enjoying the ride to get there. On to the next chapter, er, book!

I love how Max and Ethan have added layers and evolved as a couple. Of the two, Max has experienced more personal growth. I hope by the end of the series that he will have found the courage to come out and acknowledge that he is gay and that Ethan is the love of his life.

A solid 4 star read

The twist was good. I didn't see that happening and love that I was surprised by it. I hate predictability when it comes to a good mystery.

I loved seeing Ethan with a kid. It was sweet. Too bad it's not in his and Max's future. Or could it be? I think it would be sweet to see how Max would be with a kid.

Max is still feeling a bit insecure about there relationship and the guy he's auctioned off to doesn't help relinquish those feelings. But in the end it just made his and Ethan's relationship that much stronger.

I enjoyed this one. It was good to see how much closer these men are getting and to see more of Max's wall come down.

I really like this series(as evidenced by the fact I am reading all 9 books without reading anything in else inbetween them). Although each book deals with the same couple(Max and Ethan) none of the books(so far) have ended in a cliff hanger. Each book(I just finished book 5) has ended in a HFN and could be considered complete in itself(although if you don't read them in order you might get a little confused by some comments and actions). I recommend these books to lovers of M/M genre(BDSM / Dom-Sub included).

Rating is based on the entire series (books 1-10 thus far) rather than each one individually.

Loved the series. Loved Max and Ethan. Loved the D/s relationship they've built. Loved them individually and as a couple. Yeah, loved the whole fucking enchilada.

Wow he was messed up. Did not see the extent of his craziness coming. The idea of max being auctioned off made me laugh. Mr. Controlled having no control over the outcome. Max is really coming to terms with his feelings for Ethan.

This series has good graphic description of their love scene. Ethan is Max's sub and loves his master fiercely. Each book has its own plot where the characters develope beautifully around Ethan and Max's security firm. All stories have hot m/m BDSM scenes that will leave you emotional to say the least.
The author is new to me and I am happy that I took the plunge to read this series.
This was an easy 5 stars from me.

Wow - what a series! 11 books and some shorts. Obviously, I liked some books a little more than others but none that I didn't feel fit into the series and overall characters, which were 2 sexy, hot, likeable and lovable MC's - different but perfect for each other. Each book had it's own plot and ending and carried the story along their lives.

Obsessed!

I'm obsessed with this duo. Love the way the overall plot, that is the bodyguard assignments and the growing relationship of max and Ethan coincide and bring new nuances to their bond. The resolution of it all is, as always, very gratifying. I like the consistency of both these men. It's kinky, tender and exciting! This is unputdownable!!

Loving this author and series. The main character, Maximillian, is a strong one but I do wish the character development for the secondary character, Ethan, would give him a bit more depth and consistency.

Another great additions to an amazing series. Max and Ethan are still learning to deal with a relationship that can't be made public. Ethan is tasked with guarding a famous star and his infant son while Max is dealing with the consequences of a bachelor auction. A wonderful storyline with a mix of kinky sex, drama, humor and suspense that had me eagerly devouring this book. Well written with a fascinating plot that is full of surprises. I HIGHLY recommend reading this series in order! Looking forward to more Max and Ethan! Be warned: M/M romance

My favorite of the series so far (still have four more to read). I really like that Ethan wasn't injured in this one after the last three where he had some sort of injury. The whole stalker fan curveball at the end with Franklin was amazing written. I didn't see any of coming. Much like Ethan I thought Franklin was just a harmless man who wanted to love him.

OK, this one was much better than book 4 - had me worried there for a moment.

Great character progression, nice to get inside M's walls a little and get a better glimpse of the man behind the ice. Loved the back story, great twist.

Storming onto book 6 eagerly.

Creepy stalkers, murder, brawls and jealousy. What's not to love, as long as you have these two sexy guys? If you just keep the faith in Max, he bares why he's so prickly. And it's good for him to see Ethan's not only appreciated by himself.

Getting better and better

I'm hooked on this series. Not my usual type of book, but these are really good insights into a different kind of relationship. I also like reading a series back to back. I've seen book 11 listed but so far have been unable to get it.
