Love In The Ghetto
Cherish is a sweet girl that was handed a raw deal in life. Her mother is a sick and abusive woman that always saw Cherish as the mistake that ruined her life. An unexpected incident nearly costs Cherish everything. However, the unfortunate tragedy of a loved one leads her right into the arms of a new man that could end up being good for the soul.
Mega is young, handsome and seems to have it all. He has moved across the hall from Cherish, the beautiful yet quiet and battered young woman. Mega witnesses the abuse she has suffered at the hands of her mother and wants to save her, but growing up in the hood has taught him to mind his business, and to turn a blind eye to things that don't concern him.
Will Mega save Cherish? Or, will his hood nature cause him to turn a blind eye to her obvious cry for help? If so, can he save her in time? Or, will the abuse and neglect cost Cherish her life?

Enjoyed this one even though it moved fast and the ending was a bit over the top for someone to go through right after what she’d gone through. The whole six weeks thing really had me doing a double take because it seemed like it was a couple days or so after. Either way it was an okay read, not sure how the next one will be seeing that everyone is pretty much square.

Lil Mama was the business.
I read a bunch of these books, but this one was truly good. Now it could've gotten 5 stars if the editing was a little better. I like the story development, it was well paced and all around had me involved. You should read this, I only wish that part two was out already! I need answers to this cliffhanger to be concluded. Waiting impatiently.

Great book I need part 2 now!!! I loved Cherish and Mega's relationship!!! Meeka and Tyree was so low down because Cherish was a good friend!!! Great job Mz. Toni!!!

The book was so fast paced. I felt like the time like was rushed and everything was happening so fast. Even though Cherish story was a sad one i just couldn't connect with any of the characters and that made it hard for me to keep reading. I read a book from the author before and i loved it so i kinda expected more from this read

This was a great read, how can a mom allow a man to do her child that way! Whew Tyree shocked me completely.. But I’m glad Cherish got out of the situation even though more came behind it.. Overall this was a good read

The book held my interest enough to complete in one sitting. I did notice the similarities between this story and the novel Push. Both hard to read and compelling. I am eagerly waiting for part 2.

Lil Mama Been through toooo much
I knew her triflin @$$ mama was triflin as hell. I just can't believe a mother would hate her child so much to put her through this ordeal. It was just so much hateration in this dancery it didn't make any sense. Mega is my guy though. Sometimes you do want to sit back and stay out of folks business but at other times you just have too. Cherish was so damage and just when she thought it was all coming together, she got hit with a bunch of other crap. This book basically tells you to trust not trust nobody. I thought that hoe was dead for sure, damn it Camille.

Crazy crazy crazy
I felt so bad for Cherish and everything that she had to endure. While I enjoyed reading her story I couldn't deal with the gay foolishness and the perversions in this book. It was just disgusting. Definitely had to skip over a few parts. Really not understanding that ending how did no one know that Meeka was still alive. Something with that just doesn't seem quite right. I guess part 2 will tell.

Mz. Toni I know you didn't end that story like that. Precious had the wrong name because there was nothing precious about her. She was an evil individual who didn't deserve the title of mother. Her man Cesar was a sick monster. Meeka was jealous, and Tyree really disappointed me.

This was good
I almost slept on this one. How can a mother be so hateful towards her child about something that's not even the child's fault. Cherish was just surrounded by nothing but snakes. This was a good read you most definitely will not be disappointed, now I'm off to go read part 2 because that ending was like whoa.

Wow I truly enjoyed this book. Mz Toni did her thing. Poor lil mama had a hard life how can a mother be so cruel. Mega was a upstanding guy he really saved Cherish life. I can't wait for part two.

This book was exciting from the beginning to the end! The drama and suspense really had me going. Never would have thought that Meeka and Tyree were in with her mom. Very good book and can't wait for part 2.

Wow this book was a great read. It's a shame that lil mama has to go thru all of that drama and pain in her young life, and on top of that her mama wasn't even being a mom to her at all. But over all I can't wait for the second book.
