Okay Book for newbies to tech world

It is an entry level book on different applications that we can use on a daily basis to increase our productivity.
Applications mentioned in the book are mostly on Note taking, creating to do lists, Calendar entries, tasks and projects, email management.
The book gives a basic idea about the apps and not a complete tutorial. It tells about the pricing and features of the apps along with pros and cons.
Though in the ever changing technical world with constant updates, it is not a good idea to rely only on the book knowledge. One has to keep learning new things and keep himself updated. Book has some new learnings for me and can be a good starting point for someone who is new to the digital world. Book is also helpful for senior citizens who'd prefer to learn from the book rather than on web.
